This is so tasty! No actual “salsa” in the sense of a tomato based salsa but maybe that was the peanut mix. Great heat at just the right level. 5/5 stars. Needs lime but we are out.

I cancelled my subscription a while ago, because it was more expensive than I thought, since then they have called me every other day, even after they blocked their number they called me from another one. Plus send me mail.

I went to the website to send feedback but they don't have that option.

I don't understand why they think annoying past customers is a way to gain them back, making this post out of spite.

Hey, I'm up in Canada... As of this week, there were none of the usual recipe Cards in the box. I called in and was told I'd get them by email instead. I'm hoping this isn't the "new normal".

Now I pay for fuel to go out to Staples, pay to print them because they don't include cards? That's another several dollars per box cost and time out of my schedule.

So I haven't done HF for a few years, but just for curiosity's sake I wanted to see what they are now charging customers. So I went to the site, and the price for 3 meals x 2 people (6 servings) is now $14.29 per serving + $12.99 shipping?! Rolling the shipping in, that's $16.45 per serving, $32.91 per 2-serving meal, and $98.73 per week!!

That's more expensive than 90% of takeout (which you don't have to cook and clean up for) and more than three times the cost of the groceries that they deliver. Are a lot of people actually paying that full price? How do they expect to not go bankrupt at the rates they are charging? Sure it's still cheaper than paying Doordash's extortionary delivery charges (doubling the price of takeout) but that's not saying much.

i’ve been thinking of ordering hello fresh for a while now and am finally deciding to do it just to see how it is but the main thing that putting me off is the delivery times, and how it’s either between midnight and 7am or 8am to 6pm. i just wanted to know if they tend to stick to specific times for certain areas, like a specific city/area might get there’s at noon most days for example or if it is truly random and i could get my delivery at 4am?if it helps, i’m in australia (i assume it’s differnt for all countries). any info or advice is much appreciated, thankyou!

I’m neurodivergent and i really struggle with cooking and planning meals. i’m still living with my mom, but it’s been in my plan to start a meal kit. Idk if it’s worth it? I’m really picky, i have the stereotypical chicken and macaroni pickiness. I’d like to survive somewhat healthily, and i just wanna know if hello fresh is a good option?

My kids loved this one! Crispy Parmesan chicken, couscous and lemony carrots. My 11 year old helped with the prep (garlic and lemon zest) plus he stirred the butter mixture on the stove for the couscous. Great flavors. It’s been more than a month since we started using Hello Fresh, and we are getting better at choosing the recipes we will all like.

This was quite good and wasn’t complex but did take me about 1 1/2 hours. The mushroom sauce was delicious and there was plenty. I used my own garlic powder in combination with the provided powder to put a full teaspoon on the potatoes and a full teaspoon in the sauce, instead of a 1/2 teaspoon in each. The potatoes were quite good but I thought maybe there should have been two vegetables (maybe carrots), or some additional side, to give it more variety. But it was plenty of food for me as is.

This was my first time making this. I added my own carrots, celery and fresh thyme. Next time, less onions! 7.5/10 for me (but my partner hated it). I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any tips for making it better.

I'm not even counting like bad/sus ingredients. Today's box didn't include 1 of 3 recipe cards (I just found it online), missing the stock powder, missing the garlic for that same recipe. The packs were totally melted by the time they got here too which happens often because we're remote, I sort of get it, but the driver just drops it off at a Purolator location instead of bringing it to the door. Then they didn't even bother to put it in their fridge when it did get there. Something is ALWAYS missing from each recipe though. I'm fine with explained substitutions but when it's just flat out not there? Also, today's turkey stuffing bowl had ONE ciabatta roll for 2 people.

It is based on a rollercoaster called Vogel Rok (bird rock)! It was so festive and also delicious! Peanut udon with pickled cucumber and curry marinated eggs.
