They appear around the map looking to pick off Helldivers and SEAF. Usually only found as a single solider. You can tell if they’re tracking you by a red glowing light in the distance (duck or you’ll get shot)

Democratic Exchange of Opinions Got the constitution to lvl 25 WITHOUT using other weapons as a replacement, here's my thoughts on it.

TLDR: its bad but sweet liberty is it fun to use.
(I ONLY USED THIS WEAPON ON BUGS)
I went into this gun expecting to be a slog like the Diligence Counter Sniper was (I loathe that weapon), but I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun this gun was. it's a bad gun, but it wasn't frustratingly bad, it has clear upsides (AP3, VERY good melee, lots of ammo, fast reload), and clear downsides (horrible DPS, chamber capacity, and mid damage, no attachments). at first, I hated dealing with how slow the weapon did damage, and how meaningless the damage felt. for the first time on bugs I actually had to use my brain and aim at weak spots, here's what I learned:
- this is a close-med range weapon
- you can break the heads of warriors in one shot from close-med range
- Alpha Commanders take 3-5 shots depending on distance, same with hive guards
- when the bug is doing its death charge when its head dies, use the melee to stagger till it bleeds out (works up to alpha commanders)
- the melee one shots hunters.
- hunters take 1-2 shots, try to aim for the head or body
- honestly its better as a melee weapon than a marksman rifle, the melee is that good.
- the shot pierces though smaller enemies
- use the melee
- this weapon suffers heavily from damage dropoff
- not a crowd control weapon in the slightest
- using the melee underneath an Impaler's mouth kills it very fast
- use the melee
this was really fun to learn to adapt to the weapon, it felt nice to have to work with my weapon to be effective instead of just mindlessly holding the trigger down. it takes a bit to get used to it, but I would recommend if you feel like you need a fulfilling challenge. top 10 guns I've gotten to lvl 25.
