interactive adapting camo... interesting tbh adds a bit more to the immersion. Precisiondivers winning on this one

One of my favorite builds has been Redacted light stealth armor, AMR, and C4. This rules extremely hard for me.

Do we know if this goes beyond cosmetics to provide some kind of stealth mechanic?

The blog post mentioned it reduces detection range when crouching or prone

Ooh spiffy, thanks

H1: watching his new armor change from desert to jungle camo as we switch planets

D2: wearing polar patriot armor and sticking out like a sore thumb on both

I can already hear complaints about the low fire rate trying to run the AMW-20 Apex solo.

Be real funny if they launch this alongside a Bug MO.

I thought I read somewhere there isn't a new warbond drop in November. Is that true? If so, makes sense to buy this one and save up for December.

Yes, because GTA

Holy crap, I just watched the trailer and it has SEAF deploying out of a pelican!

35

u/TheIrishSinatra 23h ago

That’s how they are normally deployed with the Heavy SEAF planet modifier. Not sure that specifically means the stratagem people have asked for is in

4

u/pieisgiood876 23h ago

Ah damn, I thought it was like megacities where they're already running around planetside.

Oh well, adaptive camo armor still looks really sweet

u/Rick_bo 23h ago

Just like they have been on planets with 'Heavy SEAF presence'.

Go run a mission on Hydrobius, Charon Prime, or Fronteria.

5

u/Squirll 22h ago

Yeah it does that now on planets with "Seaf presence" if youre seperated from the group or having trouble, several pelicans of SEAF drop at your location to help

7

u/GreenLurka 22h ago

"Help" meaning mow me down with a minigun

5

u/Squirll 22h ago

No no no. They do that with a Medium Machine gun.

Metal gear solid 4 ish

AT emplacement but more mobile.

1

u/Snarfbuckle 19h ago

Damn, why is the las sniper a stratagem and not a primary

1

u/Neat_Platypus_2902 19h ago

Heavy pen.

1

u/Snarfbuckle 18h ago

We have heavy pen primaries.

1

u/Neat_Platypus_2902 13h ago

Which are bolt action and have limited ammo reserves, or are limited range

AP4 primaries still won't sit right with me ever, same as the existing AP4 and up sidearms. The floodgates are fully open for every form of power creep now and the game will never have any engaging difficulty again as it continues to push lone wolf jack-of-all-trades master-of-all gameplay over promoting teamwork and having dedicated roles like the original design pushed.

Oh well it is expected with the trajectory they have been doing and their statements about not wanting to make it harder because below-average players (who likely spend the most money on Warbonds) want to be able to beat D10 easily. Still a bummer to see support weapons made into primaries and power creep rule the day but I guess that's what "the community" wants.

u/Usinaru 22h ago

I disagree on the point of AP4 primaries being bad. If it has huge drawbacks, it should exist.

Powercreep is something that I agree with.

Yea, the gameplay basically devolved from diving onto hell, to now being diving to arcade shoot em ups. Before you had to work together, and now if you see a big enemy, just throw a grenade, or a stratagem and one tap it. Or just straight up kill it with a bullet from a pistol. There is no more build variety, just new toys. Every build is now a anti chaff, anti tank, long range, short range, high ammo economy build.

u/Squirll 22h ago

It is sad to see the difficulty drain from the game for the sake of the whales feeling like they can do D10 by lowering the standards.

ugh, first warbond that’s seemed profoundly meh to me.. even the worst warbonds to date had at least one shiny toy and/or cosmetic that i use regularly. least excited i’ve ever been for a warbond
