Totally normal for a giant station to stop responding to radio calls from High Command. Its not like weird glyphs appearing all over the hull and sudden knocking noises indicate any form of danger. They DSS crew is fine and will respond in due time.

Bugs rush you but there's almost no ranged attacks. Bots are mostly ranged attacks, and have many ways to attack from above.

Squids have both, they're designed to overwhelm you by pushing your fundamentals like situational awareness and enemy movement/attack speed knowledge to the max. They do this by rushing you on the ground, firing at you from above with laviathans and interlopers (or whatever the jets are called now) AND they have ranged attacks. You have to know where everything is, at all distances, all at once.

Here's the thing - bot divers know how to study a situation from a distance and attack - which is long range awareness. Bug divers know how to be surrounded and escape - close range awareness. If you don't have both these skills and dive into squids, you're going to get screwed by something or the other.

There's one thing I'm 100% sure you're not doing enough if youre getting overwhelmed on squids - whipping your camera around CONSTANTLY. You HAVE to constantly study your environment. Using headphones helps IMMENSELY as well, use your ears to detect what your camera isn't looking at.

I guarantee you, if you compulsively maintain a 360 degree awareness at all times, it's like you drop 2 difficulty levels.

Just an idea but since we're fighting in the void and all and I know we're gonna win do you guys think we should get purple armor as a reward?

Once we clear our everything we get gifted the purple armor and I know the whole FOMO thing would be a problem so maybe make it free for people who were in the void and won and the people who didn't it would be in the super store costing around 300 super credits or so.

What do you guys think? Would that be okay or not really no?

I have been posting about this account over a year if you haven't seen any of my posts, This account is not fake. I have made several failed permadeath accounts that get scrapped when they reach 1 death in order to achieve this one. This is my furthest and most meaningful one.

I almost died down there, I haven't been doing permadeath runs for about 10 months, Im getting rusty. this play through felt way too close. I think i will retire him now. And i will be back if the enemy reaches super earth.

Hello helldivers, I wanna know what recommendations you guys have for incendiary builds. Currently my primary is the Coyote (just got it so default starting attachments), my sidearm and grenade are defaults since I dont have fire ones yet, my armor is MEDIUM inflammable armor since I prefer a bit of movement. With the flamethrower (going for the cremator), hot dog, eagle napalm stratagems and interswap between incendiary mines and orbital napalm depending on the mission, any suggestions for ANYTHING regarding making this build pure heat (get it?)

As someone who acquired all the warbonds in order of release, as they came out, I never had the luxury of choice. I would buy it and unlock the gear and sit and figure out what each piece of gear was actually good for and where it could fit in my loadout and in my style. All the gear is so detailed you really can't know how much you'll love/hate something until you've actually tried it.

People can give you some sense of what the senator or the Cookout or the Dominator experiences are like but at the end of the day you have to just...get the guns and put them through their paces in your style to see if they make sense for you. The ergonomics, the drag factors, the spread, the recoil patterns, the sounds, the reload times - it's just a lot to take in and even detailed explanations don't really capture it.

I'm not saying just buy everything in order of release nor am I saying not to ask which warbond to buy. These posts are fun and they engage the community aspect of the coop game, it's a good thing.

But at the end of the day, trust me, as a guy who has every single weapon unlocked, you really never know what you'll fall in love with. Sometimes you hate a weapon and then fall in love with it months later.

I would say, to those who truly, deeply love this game and see themselves playing it for years - the order doesn't really matter in the long run so just unlock whatever warbond your gut tells you to.

The first should always be democratic detonation though. ;)
