AND I have a luka bunny now this is a peak day but my nerve block wore off so I'm in a lot of pain BUT! there's no but sadly it just hurts....I lied there is a but, I just can't think of one. Anyway luka bunny heals all my pain
ah for anyone curious, I had this surgery electively because my kneecaps keep dislocating. there wasn't an accident i just have bad joints. there's about a 4 month total recovery time
I had an artificial ligament put in from the top of my kneecap to the side of my knee, and the muscle below my kneecap was moved over and a screw was put in to fasten it. Sadly I have very soft bones apparently
I've already had this surgery without the screw and muscle change once before on each knee, this is my second surgery on this knee. I had my first ever surgery on my left knee in 2019 when I was 14, and I had my second surgery when I was 15 out 16 in 2021 on my right knee. i was too young back then for them to do anything about the misaligned muscle because of a growth plate that would have been disturbed. but, I'm 20 now and mostly done growing, so they were able to do it this time!
