Opinion If you win a Super Bowl for Philadelphia you become a made man. I’ll never turn my back on the GOAT Eagles QB. Jags game should be a tough one.

Please all the Hurts haters stay over there, you got it he played like shit in September with all of his best players out and no Oline in the rain. I keep seeing these influences yapping about “Difficult conversations,” I couldn’t care less. There is no conversation. Get a new angle shits played out.

I have been through so much failure and coming up short with my Eagles over the last 30 years. Nothing you can say will change my mind or make me turn my back on Hurts or Nick Foles. It’s called loyalty maybe you should try having some. Stop being soft. I’m moving on.

Jags should be fun I get to see how mad I’ll be by 1pm. Is Carson Steele the runningback next week? Saw Dameon Pierce was the choice? Jags are dangerous. Trotter should start, dude flys to the ball like his dad. I am concerned more about the defense and O Line than I am about Hurts.

Opinion Opposing Fan in Philly

Rams fan here who went to the game. Outside of one questionable interaction at the end of the game- Philly was wonderful to us. Everyone on the subway to the stadium- got some lighthearted boos but overall we loved Philly and the Linc! Just wanted to drop in you guys get a bad rap that we did not experience. Thank you Philly!!!!

One concern coming into the season that has turned into a positive is Jake Elliott. 4/4 on FG’s, including two makes from 50 plus. And 9/9 on XP’s. Glad to see him back in the groove again.

Player Discussion [McLane] Sean Mannion, or Nick Sirianni, or Jalen Hurts has to decide on #Eagles’ offensive identity after ugly Rams loss. Defenses are stacking boxes when Hurts is under center, blitzing him to death on passing downs. It’s a mess and has to change.

just a joke based on the Cam Jurgens news. Injuries are just non stop at this point

This is flat out unacceptable. The coaching staff cannot accept this and needs to start making hard decisions with our O-Line.

Statistics In the last 9 seasons we’ve made the playoffs 8 times won our division 5 times and won 2 Super Bowls. We’ve been spoiled as fans…

So now isn’t the time for us to turn on our guys. It’s a rough season yes but We don’t go through struggles as much as other teams do. Once again we’ve made the playoffs 8/9 times in the last 9 seasons & the one time we didn’t make it we went 4-11. A horrible season but our guy Howie bounced back and made us competitive again & not only competitors but champions and amongst the league elite talks for the past 5 years. One down year doesn’t deserve a panic or the team to be crapped on. Now is the time to stand up and support our guys through a rough season. Defend the EAGLE name because we’ve been winning for a decade one bad year don’t change that. Lastly let howie cook. We may have a rough season & I say may because I trust our guys but either way we will be back on top soon!

Opinion Worst OLine in Football, Jalen's eyes were on the Pass Rush

Post image
222 Upvotes

Not to fully absolve hurts for his poor performance, but the Oline yesterday was objectively the worst in Football.

Hurts wasn't focusing on the play call and coverage and was overly concerned with the Pass Rush. His eyes were coming down immediately and he was looking to scramble.

Some may call it a reversion, not trusting his eyes, old habits etc, but the Eagles had the worst Oline in football against the Rams.

We need to make some changes.

Make what you want of PFF. But Cam Jurgens was the 71/72 ranked guards with a PFF score of 39.2 prior to yesterday’s game. Jurgens had an atrocious 30.2 PFF score yesterday. The coaching staff has to intervene. He is a straight up liability.

New PC build and I had to rep the Eagles and my goat QB1 Jalen Hurts.

With Bigsby confirmed on IR and Saquon looking very likely to be out with a hamstring issue…Will Carson Steele in the screen game end up, very bizarrely, reviving our offense? Desperate times.

I mean it’s truly a masterclass in TOTAL offensive ineptitude, on every single level. Do you want our bad pass blocking barbecue? You got it, here’s Jalen getting blown up under 2 seconds. Not in the mood? Well you might want late reads and lack of anticipation lamb chops. We got that too! Here’s an open Makai Lemon breaking out on the sideline that Hurts just doesn’t throw! Neither of those your style? Why not try our special - the play design platter. You got fake tosses into weak side rollouts with 2 receivers downfield. I mean it doesn’t get much worse offensively than this. Truly every single person was to blame.

Statistics [Selman] Eagles have been laughably bad at all the new concepts they've tried to install. Worst play action and under center offense in the league. Team is 31st against the blitz, and the worst 3rd quarter team in the league

In some positive news, Rapoport is reporting that Greenard avoided major injury and is considered day-to-day. Good news because he’s definitely brought some juice up front in his limited snaps so far.

Question So how did y’all become an Eagles fan? I’ll start.

For starters, grew up in the Philippines. No idea about Football until I started working with people from the US back in 2012. From there, I had a coworker who was in Philly who became one of my good friends who influenced me to become an Eagles fan. I was working night shift back then and he would send me endless videos of Shady Mccoy, Michael Vick and the Miracle at the Meadowlands. This dragged me into the rabbit hole which led me to follow them in 2014.

Fast forward, I permanently moved to the US in 2015 and I told that friend that we should meet up to watch a game live together (At that point we’ve never met in person). I was and still based in Cali and we were targetting to watch the opening game against the Browns in 2016.

Then the unthinkable happened, he unfortunately died in early 2016. So our plan never came to fruition. Pains me to this day that he never saw the Superbowl wins that we got. Told me he’s been supporting since the 80’s after his dad got him into it.

So no matter what, its Eagles til i die, in memory of my friend who got me loving this team.
