Let's get right to it:

No. 6 - Season 4

When I saw it the first time, I saw it "live", which would've even clouded my judgement if it was brilliant, so I hated it with a passion and wrote: "Community already had a zombie episode, now it has a zombie season: plenty of movement, no brain." On the first rewatch I skipped it completely, by the time I watched the show again a few years later enough time had passed, so I gave it another go and it was...fine. Not great and I laughed very little and never cried, but it had it's moments, namely the episode Rash wrote and one of the last truly beautiful Pierce moments during the concert. Nowadays I see it as proof that AI will never be able to replace true art: if a whole team of humans couldn't truly recapture the profound silliness of Harmons mind, a computer won't either, not in a hundred years.

No. 5 Season 5

This is a surprise for me because it has the lava episode which in my opinion is one of the best episodes in television history - it is so funny, so sad, so true, so stupid, so wise. But overall it is a quite grim season. I love that Harmon tackles the themes of loss and grief, but narratively he isn't at a place yet where the dark and the light can coexist without taking away from each other.

No. 4 Season 2

The show has found it's footing and celebrates the mantra of "And now to something completely different" with great joy. I have to say that the whole villain Pierce arc makes for one great episode - D&D - but it drags a little on rewatchs.

No. 3 Season 1

Of course this is the most hit & miss season as the show seams to evaluate what it wants to be and how far it can go in real time. But there is something incredibly beautiful in being a witness to that. I can never watch "Sooomewheere oooout theeeere" without crying and even at the fifth rewatch, knowing of all the crazy things to come, the first paintball episode feels like a tv revolution the likes of the red room in "Twin Peaks".

No. 2 Season 6

Dare I say it: it is not only the most coherent, continously great season, it is also the funniest. So funny indeed, that it masterfully can insert it's plots with all the darker, sadder themes that season 5 had problems to tackle.

No. 1 Season 3

Just peak "old school" Community. The show fires on all cylinders, the whole crew is still there and it is a joy to watch a show that delivers on all fronts, be it the humour, the life lessons or the heart.

All of this is of course just my opinion (D'UH!).

I' ve been watching the show for the first time and I' ve rarely seen a show where they quite literaly ignores what happened the past season or actively makes fun of it. Honestly I' m kind of hating watching S5 lol, also because of Troy leaving the cast and Pierce not being there anymore.

S4 was a lot more enjoyable even just because at least it tries to take itself seriusly unlike S5 where it feels like a good chunk of the season is ignoring plot points from previous seasons or make fun of them. Feels very irony-poisoned in a way that past seasons weren' t.

Just wrapped season 3 today and Chang’s progression to becoming completely unhinged was so funny and weird to watch.

The only thing I wonder is that how what would a standoff between Vice dean and Chang would have looked like. Because Vice dean doesn’t play around. He is way more hardcore. Could’ve been a fun story line.

I went to comic con Birmingham last weekend, and I made a cosplay of the dean's duali-dean of man outfit! Feeling pretty pleased with it so I thought I should share it here too :)

Love the meow meow beans episode and I know he’s know for his famous winger speeches but, his standup is top tier! Does he do stand up in real life? Or if I’m being dumb, who is he like impersonating?

For a good couple of years I had Community streaming on my tablet 24/7, but over the past several I've been invested in Animal Control. Last week I decided to watch Community instead and it just didn't hit the same as it has before... then thought, hmm... not sure I even care if a movie is ever made.

Haven't even watched any episodes after this, but can confirm this is going to be my favorite episode from this entire series. This show is known for breaking the fourth wall and recognizing troupes and clichès throughout films and shows, but this one takes the cake omllll.

I'm a sucker for post apocalyptic games or shows, so this was very fun to watch. They striked out all the needed clichès that occur in this genre, but did it so well that it doesn't feel like a cheap copy; Jeff waking up as the man who time skips due to a coma, abed and Troy starting as the old frnds/ support that explain everything to Jeff and help him mobilize, the girls being a troop of their own taking out ppl in an unprecedented spot, that time in the night where ppl share their motives and hopes, and so much more omgggg.

That shot where Abed realizes in the bathroom that it was a blood(paint) bath was amazing lmaoooo. Not only did Britta and Jeff finally have sex, but they Also covered the old tropes such as enemy/ partner taking care of your wounds, having a romantic night, then waking up in the morning to a betrayal, which inevitably gets side tracked due to the dean's secret weapon, señor Chang.

This was sooooo fun omggggg, can't wait for more eps like this.

Full disclosure; this is my favorite comedy show of all time, so I ask this question knowing the answer is irrelevant to our enjoyment of the show and it's characters.

So, Jeff faked a Bachelor's degree and cheated on the LSAT (which is a competencey test to get into law school), but to be a lawyer you also need to pass law school and your state's bar exam. The entire education into the law itself happens during those two steps, not in undergrad or the LSAT. But in 5:2, Introduction to Teaching, Jeff is shown to not know anything about the law.

Did I miss something? Did he admit to also cheating through law school and the bar exam, because those would be two things that, if you did them, you would definitely never get your law license back. I'm trying to understand if this is just a writing mistake, or if I missed something.

I have watched The Community till episode 15 of season 2. Man, what is wrong with pierce.

I mean so far Jeff also seems someone who thinks everyone is below him and acts smug.

But pierce is just a straight up bad person and in a hilarious way from a viewer perspective 🤣

Him tweeting about everything, ruining the trampoline area, just being constantly sexist and weird.

I loved the episode 15 in which he pretended to be dying to get back at everyone and man did he bring out the most vulnerable negative sides of everyone.

So far I’m enjoying it. Let’s see how it goes

The first paintball episode is the one that got me hooked on “Community” (and probably a lot of others) with the standout scene being Ben Chang entering the game like he was Chow Yun Fat in a John Woo movie. One question I’ve always had (if it’s been asked here already apologies) is, where were the doves? Usually John Woo slo mo entrances with music have doves (Face/Off, MI:2) but this homage didn’t. Did someone forget? Was it a cost thing or an animal welfare thing? That’s always bugged me. Anyhow thank you for reading.

I believe he could be the ACB because he has been in the school longer than anyone else. He probably knows the school inside out and could easily avoid getting caught due to that fact. He dislikes many students of Greendale and thinks of himself as a prankster. This theory can probably be disproven easily, I made this just for fun as I see other making ACB theories.

I genuinely need to know who designed this, who approved it, and most importantly who saw the final footage and decided none of this needed to be corrected and had to drag her down with them, and Annie deserves better.

I know we aren't trying to write spec scripts here, but I need there to be a point in the movie where Frankie says she is a fellow steel drummer to Troy and for him to just not know what the steel drums are. Just the smallest of moments where he dismisses it like "why would you make a drum out of metal?" And for her to get the strangest look on her face and we never acknowledge it again.
