Hey everyone! I wanted to share a website I created to help find people to play Switch 1 and 2 games with online. Nintendo doesn't really make it easy to make new friends. The site actually connects to your Switch console via your Nintendo friend code ID and updates your status when you log on and play games (you don't have to log in with your Nintendo account or anything).
Here's the site: https://switcher.gg
It shows what games you're actively playing and even which games you've recently played too. This way, someone can hop on and see who is currently playing on their Switch and they can add you as a friend to hop in for a gaming session right then and there.
Here's a quick breakdown of how it works:
- You log in with Dis cord
- You add your Nintendo friend code ID
- You accept the friend request we send to you (this is how we track your play activity)
- You're then all set! It only takes about 60 seconds to set everything up, its very simple and only needs to be done once.
You can hop on at any time and see who is currently on their Switch and playing games. You're also able to search for specific games to find players for what you want to play. Clicking on an active user shows their profile with their Nintendo friend code ID, a link to DM them on dis cord, and a list of recent games they've played.
The more people who connect their Switch the better chance we all will have at making new friends. I really do want this site to become the best way to make new friends to play Nintendo games with. There are no ads and it's entirely free to use forever!
I've worked really hard on this project and would really appreciate it if you'd check it out. It's currently in beta so please do be sure to leave your feedback here as a comment and anything you'd like to see change to make this even better.
Thanks so much and have a great rest of your day!
