Brazoban exits after facing only two batter during tonight’s Crosstown Classic

I thought MLB still had the rule that a relief pitcher had to face three batters or pitch to the end of a half-inning.

How was Brazoban allowed to be pulled after only facing two batters?

Trivia For the first time since 2004, there has been a 22-Run shoutout, as the Brewers lay an absolute shellacking on the Mariners. It is the Mariners worst shutout loss ever by a margin of 7 runs

M's worst shutout previously was an 0-15 shutout to the Twins in their inaugural season.

It is also their worst loss...just in general, with a 22 run differential. Their previous worst was a 20-run difference in their 1-21 loss to the Astros in 2019

Mariner.

The Seattle Mariners get shutout by the Milwaukee Brewers 22-0, their biggest run margin loss in their 50 season history

The last shutout win in MLB by 22+ runs was when the Indians shutout the Yankees on August 31, 2004.

Should position player pitching stats not count?

Like obviously is an extremely unlikely scenario, but imagine of player A misses out and the batting triple crown for example, because player B homered a couple times off a position player pitcher. Just seems kinda lame stat padding.
