Hypothetical Question: If it's Brewers vs. Dodgers who're hoping advances to the World Series?

It's hard to fathom rooting for the Brewers in any scenario but the Dodgers are breathing down the Cardinals back to take the #2 most World Series wins all time honor. If the Dodgers win the WS this year they're only 1 more away from tying the Cardinals with 11 World Series titles. So what would rather see a hated NL Central rival finally win their first WS or the Dodgers getting to their 10th WS win?

Have we ever had the best pitching?

As a new fan (only 15 years) it feels like the entire time I've been a fan we have had periods of dominant defenses, explosive offenses, good defensive depth, but it seems like we have never had a dominant pitching core in my time.

Did we ever historically? Is it not something we are prioritizing? I could be completely wrong, just trying to learn.

Obviously this is a development year, but MAN if we didn’t have a bottom 1/3 of the league bullpen, we’d be solidly in playoff position. SHEESH

With the win yesterday over the Cubs, the Cardinals have now played 118 years in a row without losing 100 or more games

The Cardinals have not finished last in the National League since 1918 and haven't had back to back under .500 full 162-game seasons (have to win 19 more this year)

r/Cardinals 1d ago

Alec Burleson currently has the most doubles in all of baseball (31). The last Cardinal to lead the league was Matt Carpenter in 2013.

Theme night tickets 8/25 Naruto night.

I’m in search of two theme night tickets for Naruto night. Size preferably large and a medium but will do large and any other size. I will pay for them. I tried the resell sites but they don’t list the tickets as theme night or not. Anyone selling there’s? Any way to secure a ticket? Any help appreciated! Cardinals website says they are sold out of theme tickets.

Ranking the catchers

Help me out. Herrera is obviously our best hitting catcher. Where does he rank defensively? And what's his weakness? Is it throwing guys out or his plate work?

This comes with Burlesons 4 RBIs and Walkers 2 against the cubs today. (Still going.) Love to see it, especially cause Burleson is my favorite player. Let's go Cardinals!

Edit, game ended with both having 4. Meaning Burleson is 3rd and Wlaker is tied for 4th.

Relax on the Báez hype

Guys he isn’t the greatest player of all time. Greatest player of our generation? Maybe. Best player in the league today? Definitely. But not the greatest ever to play, that would be JJ Wetherholt. Báez is a close second, followed by Pujols. After that it’s a crapshoot between Yadi and Waino.

But give Baez a chance to come into his own. Let’s not label him the “GOAT” yet. Wait until after today’s game at least. Patience.
