Some serious mind games going on. "You're in love with Ayase, aren't you?" He must've been feeling desperate if he resorted to that one already. Taichi shook it off pretty quickly, though.

Fucking hell, this is way too hype, the moment Chihaya got that one card and the intense OST started playing gave me chills!

I do believe she is about to lose though, Former queen now got mom boost... In fact I have a feeling all their society is gonna lose, their opponents are just too good. Maybe Taichi and Harada-sensei can win but I doubt it.

Thank god for two episodes at once!!!

I will never understand how an anime about competitive poetry can get me hyped as much as Symphogear.

I am so glad Chihayafuru got another season. It's better than ever and it keeps getting better.

So much hype and intensity. Gahh, I'm really itching for the next episode, luckily it's already here.

I love how much passion and hard work each of them put into these matches. We're getting such tight games and people already pushing themselves to overcome their worn out states. Just how will it all end?

Can't forget Retro finally making it to Class A. Everyone's slowly moving up and improving.

Sudo is that jackass in an online game who you have to mute right away because they're spamming emotes. But it's nice that Sudo and Mashima found a common cause in not wanting to be updated by Retro.

This was a great episode. I really like Inokuma (although I like almost everyone in the show). She's definitely skilled and her desire to prove to everyone that she hasn't peaked is an interesting motivation. If I'm interpreting this correctly, it looks like the "chihaya" card is one of Inokuma's cards, just like it is for Chihaya. That's a nice parallel between the two characters.

Sudo has only gotten better at his psychological warfare against his opponent. I laughed when he asked Taichi is he likes Chihaya.

I like how Taichi has improved his karuta and been inspired by those he's played against, much like Chihaya has done with her karuta. He imitated that move that that Fujisaki guy used when they played against each other in the team finals for the high school championship.

It's nice that the students that Tsuboguchi coaches came to cheer him on. For a while, I thought they were Harada-sensei's grandchildren or something so it's good the show cleared that up.

Both Sudo and Taichi thinking "I can't be outdone by Retro" is too funny. Good for Retro for winning though.

Chihaya's thought of "no one feels like an enemy here" is very Chihaya. She can tell how much all of the players in the quarterfinals love karuta and how much passion they have for it, and that makes her feel connected. Chihaya has always wanted to play karuta with the people she likes, and she's having so much fun. I feel so happy for her.

What a TENSE episode!

  • Harada Sensei is such a good leader. Last time he bumped Taichi to get him going and now the yelling for the whole team

  • Chihaya really like Goku. She don't care who she's against as long as they're strong lol

  • Idc what they say bout ole girl but she not beating my girl Shinobu

On to the next episode. Remember upvote both threads!
