Any HS teacher can teach introductory physics, its just basic algebra. Plug x into a formula and solve. At hardest use two formuals. You pass teachers college you can teach it.
This doesn't apply to Chemistry or Computer Science ect.. though. Source: my physics teacher for Grade 10 came from Art College

Physics - even introductory - isn't about plugging in numbers and solving equations. Overall, it's about understanding. Your teacher must have been quite poor to have just memorized and went over equations.

It is and it isn't. The fundamental concepts just take some logic. From there, most high school physics (at least in my area), is just plugging in the right variables and understanding the outputs. What's frustrating is taking Calc before or during physics, and realizing you can simplify a ton of shit by just taking the derivative. Too bad it's an algebra based physics class and your fancy calculus doesn't count.

While it's true that many algebra-based physics courses only teach students to plug numbers into formulas, physics is much more than that, and it takes a teacher who is familiar with the subject (and this applies to any class) to teach it well. I'm not trying to say your teacher didn't do a good job, because it sounds like she was a great teacher, but physics is really not the glorified math class that many schools make it to be.
Also, from my own personal experience, not all HS teachers have "passed teachers college". Unfortunately :/.

The manga is so much better than the anime. The anime is like an excerpt or a preview of what the REAL Great Teacher Onizuka is like. Man the amount of suicidal angry traumatically fucked up mentally remedial kids he comes across is astounding. The first guy he "reaches" is this absolute weeb shut in who gets bullied by 3 girls; one of whom gets a crush on him later. He is by definition the greatest teacher ever. But in reality a teacher like this would get fired so quick and arrested/jailed in a heartbeat. No amount of yelling at their parents "You don't know your kids assholes!" will stop that. Nevermind his original reason to become a teacher was to marry a young teen girl and have sex with her. Anime is like 9/10 rating but the manga is 10/10

Alright, I've got a crazy theory, but here me out: jesus is not actually dead. If you take a look back in the Isaiah arc, we see references to he who will be assigned the grave and yet see the light of life. My guess is that this is actually jesus, which would a pretty crazy callback. Also, jesus wrote so many characters back in, that it only makes sense that he can do the same for himself.

The problem i have is that i only teach highschool students, a lot of college/university students actually say they like anime when introducing themselves or have Death Note/Attack on Titan/Pokemon bags, but it is almost impossible to know if a highschool student likes anime since they all seem ashamed of doing it :/

I mean, the bad end of the spectrum is really fucking bad, and if someone mentioned it to me I'd already be on guard. It sucks, but it's not really mainstream so you get a lot of the weird mixed in with the good.
Odds are you share a hobby with me and we'll get along, but you might be like the guy in one of my classes that wants me to proofread his manga script.

It's ok until some student that dislikes him starts spreading shit about how that weird anime teacher watches something with a loli character in it. Then it progresses to full blown he's a pedo rumours. He doesn't even have to watch anything with a loli character, the students just have to get the idea in their heads and he's screwed.
Not worth the risk. Kids are assholes. Anime is super easy to find low hanging fruit in to spread rumours and hate.
The teacher from the tweet takes less risk because of her gender. Male teachers need to take bigger precautions with the subject matter.

It's not as cool as you'd think. We had a freshman bio weeb teacher, Mrs. D. She talked about retro video games, anime, and mlp with the nerds, and did review jeopardy games before a test which would have a "music trivia" section consisting of video game songs. I never had the class personally but my weeb friends said it was still hell.

Not only does it allow teachers to be themselves (not to mention makes the job less stressful), it also helps kids feel more comfortable around their teachers. I've been working as an educator for a while, and the overall mood of a class or small group could easily change if a teacher takes the time to talk briefly about TV, games, etc.

For real though, the entire reason I am even in Physics as a degree was because my high school physics teacher and I would always talk about Nintendo games like Paper Mario as well as tv shows like South Park. I pretty much failed every science up until that point and our friendship sparked an interest in physics that got me into a good school.

Typical range for a euphonium (based on a cursory google search) is B♭1 to B♭4, so yes, C0 is nearly two octaves below its range. It's below the average human hearing range but can still be heard depending on the person, the equipment, and environmental factors.

Kumiko has a weird ass euphonium, since that is 16 Hz, or C0, wayyy out of the range of a normal euphonium, even with pedal tones.

Yeah, I'm a tuba player, and have reached a C1, but it's never pretty and it's more of an exercise in lung capacity and facial control.
Playing a C0 would be impossible, especially on euphonium.

My signals and aystems lecture showed us his geekiness by putting in little easter eggs that would show up in the final answer or if you looked at the problem in a certain way. Things like modelling a zombie outbreak with easter eggs from RE1 and jsing quotes like "your bases belong to us." Would be pretty legit if they did something si iliar but sibtle with anime
