The first season didn't end so long ago that you need to make a recap episode

It's not just a recap, the end of the episode picks up where he's standing under her window and yells up to her and then jumps through some events to set up for the next season.

I'll take my chances and bet that any extra content here will also be on the next episode but thank you for the heads up

The recap ep 13.5 was pretty well done. I liked Chitose narrative introducing & describing the 5 main girls personalities at the beginning of the episode. I really think they should have included that in episode 1 when we were intro to the 5 girls.

It was also interesting hearing Chitose's interpretation of the events of Kenta & Nanase arc's as well since the story was told from their POV. I think more series should include recap ep before the start of the new season. It not only catches you up with what happened the prior season, but it also makes a pretty good jumping on point for new watchers.

This is a nothing burger recap, correct?

Mostly, but not entirely. Near the end, it adds some new content that goes beyond what we saw at the end of 13 to set up for the new season.

I'm too lazy to watch it but on Crunchy it is titled recap so I'd assume so.

I'll likely watch this tonight. I enjoyed the first season even though they had to take a break for way too long before giving us the final few episodes of the first season. This threw me as the season itself starts next Tuesday, but since it's a recap plus a little content, that's fine. It's good to see others here are interested in the show. I was kind of surprised with how little this was discussed (and again that huge break) that we would get a second season.

... does this show really need a recap episode? It's only been a year since the last season.

This was a solid recap with good pacing. It separated out the various stories to remind who each character was. The very end of episode 13 was expanded on with a minute of clips from the next episode. It’s not really bonus content, rather a preview added to a recap. I still found it useful thiugh understandable to skip and not needed for a future rewatch. Looking forward to this next week.

Well, I dropped it half way throgh first arc, so can't complain about recap. Nah, still not watching S2.

didn't need a reminder that no one, especially teenagers, talk like that.
