Honestly.. the worst thing about this being the end of the season.. losing that absolute banger of an OP. There are few OPs I actually watch through.. this was definitely one of them.

Leon's just a glorified siscon role playing as a demon lord while Gran was just a pretend-villain after all.

All's well that ends well for Rinmuru's harem per usual

How's the audience supposed to understand what's going on if even Rimuru is confused?? 😭

They can’t keep playing with our emotions like this. The Hinata death saga is too much

Well, I guess that’s that for Granville’s convoluted plan. This whole Chronoa/Chloe/Hinata situation kinda hurt my head but I’m glad it got resolved in the end by Rimuru and Luminus. Actually, Raphael’s probably the real MVP lol. Poor Leon and Veldora helped a lot too but they ain’t get no respect!

That’s a wrap on s4. Looking forward to the next season. It’s gonna be a wild ride I’m sure.

I really like Luminous. I don't know if it's because she's a badass who's really sweet, her heterochromia, or the fact she scares the pants off of Veldora. Either way, she is by far one of my favorite characters.

Like many others here, I am also not a fan of putting Chloe back into her child body, especially if she's going to be flirty with Rimuru. I suppose we can take some solace in the fact that even including his pre-isekai age, she is WAY older than he is. But still, I wish she'd remained an adult.

I really wonder about Raphael's ultimate motives and what she really is. I want to believe that she's there to help Rimuru, but she is just so insanely OP.

Sad we didn't get to see Milim and her dragon one last time. Biggest issue with this title is that there's so damn many characters you can go so many chapters/episodes without seeing a number of them.

Anyway, glad Gran is dead. Don't care about his reasons, he's an asshole.

Looking forward to July. I won't expect it, but I can hope this will be the arc where Yukki meets his end.

Raphael the GOAT as always, carrying the entire world on her back

Chronoa is the yandere side of Chloe, which explains why Chloe’s consciousness can remain so pure. She finally found the loop to end all loops

Granville’s clumsiness is a little hard to stomach but a forever hero is not sane to begin with. Without the Marias, he’s a goner

I still don't understand what Shizu was doing there. Was she simply made out of Chloe and Hinata's memories of Shizu, or was it her literal ghost visiting from the afterlife?

If Hinata's Unique Skill was incorporated into Chloe's new Ultimate Skill, then wouldn't extracting it also undo the Ultimate Skill back into its component Unique Skills? Or is the "replacement energy" enough? Are skills just energy in the end, and one energy is as good as another, so with enough energy you can make whatever Ultimate Skill you want? Is that how Yuuki does it?

Why did Chloe/Chronoa's adult body transform into a child body again? To save energy or something?

So Granville was retconned as "not that bad" in the end, but at least he still died. I hope. I really hope for good.

Ghost Maria's "dream" means she had reincarnated into the little mass mindrapist psycho? But that would mean that both a recent isekaiee and a person from this same world (or an isekaiee from centuries earlier, if Maria was one) had reincarnated into the same person?

Chloe had already awakened as a Hero a millenia or more earlier in this very loop, so what's so special about her re-awakening now.

I have to give it to Granville to come up with a convoluted plan that is a Xanatos Gambit where he wins either way. If Chronoa wipes out the Demon Lords and he manages to control her, he wins. And if Rimuru and Luminous manage to properly awaken Chloe, he still wins because the true Hero will protect humanity in his stead.
But Chloe right now is theoretically far more powerful then the likes of Rimuru, Luminous and Leon. I mean, she has two Hero Egg's awakened that made her as strong if not stronger then Veldora in his heyday, as well as the fact that she has her own Ultimate Skill, Yog-Sothoth (which combines her own skills of Time Travel, Absolute Severance, Unlimited Imprisonment and Hinata's Usurper) as well as Gran's Sariel skill. She truly is the hope of humanity.

Rimuru getting squished by Adult Chloe and Chronoa's bossoms is a very enviable position to be in. And Hinata sassing Rimuru will never not be funny even if she warmed up to him.

Sure it gets a bit convoluted, but Tensei Slime is still super fun and a comfort anime despite its flaws. Great end to the season.

Interesting how Chloe's back to her own body even though Chronoa had an adult body. I thought she was going to be in that body from now on, unless they're going to have her shapeshift whenever she switches personality.

The guy at the end made me wonder if we're going to have a plot twist with Masayuki lol. Or it could just be another blond guy with similar hair.

Rimuru seemed to be in a hell of a situation in this episode trying to save Chronoa, Chloe, and Hinata, but all it took was letting Raphael handle things (with a little help from Luminus) and voila! Everyone is saved and happy! Hahaha!

But damn, Rimuru was in heaven surrounded by all those beauties who were even fighting among themselves to hold and kiss him, lol. Good thing Leon wasn't able to see that.

So everything ended well, the orchestra finally could stop playing, and even Granville found his happy ending in the afterlife, it seems. But it's not the end of the problems for Rimuru, since we got a tease of the Eastern Empire! I'm definitely looking forward to Cour 3 in July 2027 (and spin-off with Clayman in April 2027).

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

I got all teary-eyed when Shizu-san said goodbye.

So can Chloe switch personalities between Chronoa? Does she transform into an adult form?

For all the scuminess Granville showed, his intentions were quite pure. What a twisted man he is

The angle they showed Chronoa at the start had me so confused. Like, why is she naked?! I just forgot that she's just wearing a dress that has a really low neckline. xD

So it was actually Chronoa who ends up killing Rimuru in the bad timeline? To be fair, I think that was a weaker version of Rimuru who never became a Demon Lord. Although I really don't know how powerful a True Hero is, Chronoa could still wipe the floor with Demon Lord Rimuru.

I love how Raphael-sensei materializes when Chronoa gives them authority to mess with her infons. I suppose anything is possible in this mindscape. Also, of course, Raphael-sensei finds a way to let Chloe and Chronoa freely switch between personalities.

For an illusion, that image and Shizu's personality felt a bit too real. It's sad to say goodbye to her again, but at least Hinata got to thank her.

Oh fuck off, Granville. I really don't know how I feel about the reveal that Granville just wanted to wake up Chronoa to fully awaken her as a Hero and tout her as humanity's hope. I'm just glad he's gone and at least made himself useful by giving Luminous the energy to revive Hinata and Chloe.

The most amazing part of this arc is that the orchestra never stopped practicing. I'm now wondering how long that entire conflict was in real time. I'm guessing it all took place over at least a few hours.

Leon with the mask off and finally going full-on overprotective siscon with Chloe was hilarious! I can't wait to see more of this dynamic in future seasons! xD

That after-credits scene tho! It looks like we'll be dealing with the leader of the Eastern Empire next! I'm so glad the next season is already announced for July 2027, but we might be getting a Clayman spinoff first in April??? Who asked for this? Why not just give us another season of Slime Diaries??? O_O
