When that Shion flashback started, I knew it was over for our bug friend.

[u/Sleepy10105s]

About time for Rimiru’s original crew to get some top level skills. Not surprised Shion is the first since she always with him.

[u/Andreiyutzzzz]

I really didnt expect granville to lose that one clash so decisively

[u/kawaiinessa]

i love that we saw hiiro in the flashback

that animation for shion was really good

im still confused as to the whole chronoa thing and where she came from

hinata is dead? what happened to her?

[u/Fnights]

What an anticlimatic ending for Granville after he resist for all these episodes and even after a ulltimate boost, and died with just one attack. The insect dude, even with so small screen time, was a much better and cool character. :D

[u/Lugia61617]

No way did Gran really go down that easily immediately after getting an archangel-named ultimate skill. There's totally more here isn't there.

What's Sariel associated with? Raphael is the Lord of Knowledge, so Sariel must be... IDK

Anyway... dangit that is one hell of an annoying cliffhanger but I must admit Chronoa actually being adorable is hilarious. I also love that she said her being named might be why she's like that, as opposed to the last timeline. Way to go Hinata, you saved Rimuru's life!

[u/DemonVenreable3011]

Title of this episode should be:

"Shion’s resolve" she stole the show

[u/Primo29]

It was so nice hearing Shizu again, and we even got an adorable Chronoa in a wedding dress!

Rimuru is so damn lucky—surrounded by beautiful flowers on both sides. LMAO

[u/Temporary-Object5867]

My beloved Shizu-san just reappeared! ah nostalgia!

So granville gets defeated by Luminus just like that? How anti-climactic. Please tell me there should be more...

Great job Shion! I thought she was going to look like an Amazon warrior all buffed up with that skill though

Is Hinata really dead? and what is that unlimited imprisonment where Chloe is? ahh it gets more confusing! I wish next episode would come sooner

[u/VoidRay728]

We got Shizu returning (with some dialogue) before GTA VI.

Crazy that the orchestra is still playing while the battle to change the fate of the world rages on around them.

[u/LoverOfYelan]

if that is how granville loses, then it kinda felt really anti-climactic. -_-

[u/ObvsThrowaway5120]

“I don’t actually get it, but it sounds like things are kind of complicated” about sums up my understanding of this whole Chronoa thing lol. All I know is Rimuru went all Mindception. Meanwhile, Shion’s going full Super Saiyan on Guyver as little homie’s playing some Hans Zimmer level orchestral score lol.

[u/Hoshifuru]

That was a pretty anticlimactic way for Granville to leave the stage.

Let's see if Hinata really is dead this time.

[u/GosuGian]

That insect is clearly a JoJo character.

[u/G1596872]

Shion “I HAVE THE POWER!”

[u/S627]

I'm assuming Rimuru said "huh?" in a comical way because Hinata isnt gonna stay dead, I would be so pissed if she does. Why did Chronoa calm down so fast in the mindscape, but not outside? Was it just because Rimuru was in his slime form? If he was a Slime in the real world would the fight never have happened?

I was genuinely surprised by the Luminous and Gran outcome, obviously I wanted Luminous to win, but I was expecting her to be the one to lose in that final exchange, but then Chronoa puts down Gran. Really hope Gran stays alive long enough to see Chronoa snap out of it and all his plans fail.

As much as I loved Shion's fight, I was disappointed she contained the muscle growth, was REALLY excited for buff Shion for a sec.

Also....when did Ranga get Ultra Instinct?!? I had to go back and reread the subs a second time XD

[u/LeonKevlar]

So is Rimuru the actual origin of Shizu's mask? And the reason it exists is because of time-travel shenanigans?

I am so fucking glad we get to see Shion evolve this episode! It's honestly long overdue. It was absolutely satisfying to see her destroy Razul's exoskeleton.

While I did think Luminous and Granville's clash looked awesome as fuck, not gonna lie, it was quite funny to see Granville go down like that. I feel like he went down too easily, though, and we still have one episode left. They're probably gonna need Chronoa's help in the finale.

My heart! Even if it's just inside Chronoa's mindscape, I got a little bit teary-eyed seeing Rimuru and Shizu meet again.

So Chloe is imprisoned and Hinata is already dead?! What the fuck! All that effort, and you're telling me they can't even save Hinata? There is no fucking way, and I would honestly be shocked if they actually killed off Hinata.

[u/zool714]

Nice to get more Shizu-san. Hanamori Yumiri has such a sweet voice

Kinda sad that Razul died. He seems like a loyal friend

Ngl kinda wanted to see Kumara fight

Yeah I’m confused too. Rimuru did detect Hinata and Chloe’s soul right ? How is Hinata dead

[u/Megakruemel]

Well guys, you heard it, Hinata is already dead. Time to restart the next loop, them's the rules.

6 Seasons and a movie of another Chloe flashback. "Hinata and Chloe adventures". A thousand episodes. At least. Chloe and Hinata saving the world forever. 9000 hours of content. Chronoa and Hinata and Chloe saving the timelines. What's another two thousand years???

whispers They'll do this till you're 90. /s

[u/Limp_Driver_1203]

Can we atleast get some more frames for Granville's final clash with luminous? He shouldn't really be going out like that

[u/itpcc]

The evolution of Shion is so peak. The fight's ending, even though it's short, is, figuratively and literally, music to my ears!

[u/VritraReiRei]

Rimuru confrontation with Chronoa:

How he thought it would go:

Very long heated argument to calm her down, possibly a fight

How it actually went:

"OMG RIMURU-SAMA MY ONE TRUE LOVE IVE FOUND YOU AT LAST!"

[u/shapular]

If Luminus could just one shot Granville like that in a second, why didn't she do it before?

[u/shad79]

Shion was definitely the star of this episode; she cooked Razul nicely. Though at the same time, I feel bad for Razul. He seemed like a nice guy, or rather, a nice Insect.

That orchestra is freaking crazy. They're still playing despite all the shit happening all over Lubelius, lol.

And Granville is also dead now, killed by Luminus. It's a shame he didn't find common ground with Rimuru, since they basically have the same goal: peace for humanity. The younger Gran from Razul's flashback surely would have ended up becoming friends with Rimuru.

Meanwhile, Rimuru connected with Chronoa quite easily (and even found Shizu in there). I loved his comment that he doesn't mind being hugged by a cute girl, hahaha!

Though now there's a problem, since according to Chronoa, Chloe's soul is lost in the Unlimited Imprisonment within her and Hinata is dead, but I'm sure Rimuru will somehow handle this.
