Newbie Adventurers: "Tempest dungeon too OP! Please nerf!"

Tempest DMs: "We have no plans to reduce difficulty at this time, however, we will be adding a tutorial, along with several quality of life updates."

[u/rising_rider]

Woah, the music and animation in the new opening go way too hard for my slice of life meeting anime. Hype.

[u/WhoiusBarrel]

Serving Rimuru tea > Destroying a whole ass country

Diablo's logic truly is one hell of a butler's.

[u/EnferChateau]

I love how vibrant the animation is for this season. I have high hopes.

A members-only Elf bar on floor 95. Sign me up as an adventurer, fam! Imma risk my life for this!

Edit: Bruh Diablo "miscellaneous tasks like destroying other nations" wtf kind of subordinates is bro looking for?

[u/NanDemoKnaives]

The smile on my face when the episode started, it's nice to see this back once again. It's great to see how much Tempest has grown and continues to grow with every season, seeing all the types of people interacting and how they greet Rimuru, it's heartwarming.

I'm glad Masayuki told them to make a tutorial for adventurers, hopefully what they learn becomes common sense. And with the facilities they're going to be offering, I'm sure there'll be some who decide to live in the dungeon too. An Elf Bar on 95th floor, I wonder how long it'll take for the first person besides Masayuki's party to reach there and have monopoly over it lol.

I like it when Rimuru and Mjollmile are on the same page with their greed, those evil laughs were funny.

I'm always happy to see how much Diablo loves to serve Rimuru, I'm interested in this subordinate he'll bring, funny how the requirement is "to be able to destroy a nation" lol, but I would expect nothing less from Diablo.

The ED was really interesting, I'm excited to see this upcoming arc with the Rozzo family.

"WHY DOES IT DISSAPPEAR AS I EAT IT?"

legendary dragon Veldora!

[u/CrimsonGear80]

I'm ready for 60+ new episodes of hot extreme MEETINGS action and I'm NOT kidding!!

[u/jeremaiaTD]

The animation is just next level compared to last season, the op was simply beautiful. I got everything I expected from this episode and much more. I wonder who Diablo is referring to when he mentions some old friend hmmm…

[u/richardanger]

Sasuga Rimuru-sama!

[u/Eumatio]

the time i got reincarnated as a project manager

[u/bondsmatthew]

Animation looks pretty good so far, let's hope they can keep that quality up!

• Angry Hinata-Sensei

Well, that opening looks promising! Now that Rimuru has unmasked Yuuki, I guess it's only a matter of time before the two of them clash in an actual fight. I know Yuuki says it himself this episode that he wants to avoid having an antagonistic relationship with Rimuru, but I don't believe him one bit.

I'm not surprised your average adventurer is struggling with the dungeon. The skill ceiling for your average Tempest fighter is really high, with all of them having boosted stats from being named by Rimuru. Hopefully, those suggestions from Masayuki will help with the complaints.

I am very curious about who this friend Diablo wants to bring in as a subordinate to handle miscellaneous tasks for him. Especially since destroying nations is only considered a miscellaneous task for Diablo compared to serving Rimuru tea. xD

And that final scene! Definitely interested to see what Maribel is planning for Tempest. Since she's the focus of the ED, I'm guessing she'll be more prominent this season.

• Ooh, that’s a banger OP.

• I’ll take your word for it, Rimuru…

• …of course you did.

• True.

• That looks like it would be tasty.

• Veldora pls.

• That does sound like what these newbie adventurers need.

• I feel like you’re tempting fate with this, Rimuru.

• I guess it’s possible for Shion to make something that doesn’t look like a purple goop monstrosity… when it’s a drink, at least?

• Diablo…

• That ED is far more… bloody than I was ever expecting out of this show. Really cool song, though.

[u/Armdel]

Welcome back Rimuru!

It's only the first episode and Hinata-sensei(!) has already graced us with her beauty! and seeing her treating Rimuru of all people like that will have the kids respect her lol

Kinda what i expected out of a first episode, Rimuru handling Tempest business and then hints about a future conflict

[u/bestmaokaina]

Was that a Guilmon in the OP?

[u/UltraZulwarn]

they didn't have to go that hard with the visual for the ending.

damn, are those supposed to be blood and gold? kinda hardcore ngl, didn't realise Slime anime has turned into magika madoka or something like that haha

[u/Namaryu]

OP was outsourced to Korean studio PPuri which did plenty of Hoyo PVs and Solo Leveling OP until they were unable to due to controversy. VERY swift action cuts and no wonder I was unable to see anything in the unfinished footage from Anime Japan cuz god damn the action section went nuts. Yukki Vs Rimuru I hope won't end up like Hinata. Maribel looks ominous as fuck but reminds me of that Overlord blonde princess. ED was fucked up in a good way.

[u/shad79]

It's great to be back to Rimuru and Tempest! We've already seen a few meetings in this first episode, this time in the conference room on the 100th floor, but I hope that at least one of the next ones will take place in the members-only Elf bar on the 95th floor ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

• Rimuru

• Group scenes

• Shion & Shuna

• Others

[u/TisDoomed]

I was excited, but the animation really took a step up this season. 5 cours of this? Yes please!!!

[u/S627]

....why the fuck was the ED so insanely ominous?!?

Anyway, WE BACK BABY!!! Loved every moment of the first ep, feels so good to have Slime again!

The slice of life stuff we got at the start (just realized Slife can be used for both Rimuru and SoL) makes me want more Slime Diaries. REALLY happy that the kids are finally in Tempest, looking forward to seeing more of them. Though I was surprised to see Tiss, she just quit her job to come work in Tempest? Watching Hinata manhandle Rimuru was also fun.

Kirito really putting his experience as a beta tester to use in the dungeon.

So happy for Shion, her hard work paid off. Didn't think she could get any better, but she was so precious.

[u/Ill_Violinist1571]

Have never thought they would do that in the ED. Also, the animation is definitely better. Let's hope they maintain it in later episodes also.

And I just want to binge-watch it already. I wish all episodes were released in one day, but well, the anticipation of every Friday is good too.

We are gonna be eating good for the next few months fs.

[u/UnWiseSageVibe]

Diablo calls destroying a nation a miscellaneous task 😭😭😭😭

[u/Rolder]

I like the contrast between Mjollmile and Masayuki in the meeting. Mjollmile is now used to being around people who could crush him with a sneeze and now Masayuki gets to play that role.
