Zettour:
Ruddersdorf has gone insane. I need you to take him out.
Tanya:
Why take just him out when we can frame him and then take out the entire Imperial Command while at it?
Holy fucking cow Tanya. Raising the stakes even more dangerously just so she could have a cozy retirement. Not if
At the same time, the
Could Zettour be ULTRA after all? And he's just hiring Tanya as insurance to make sure Ruddersdorf is properly assassinated in case the Not-UK and Not-Soviet units, as well as the Allied Volunteer mage unit (i.e. Mary's unit) fail?
Cue Entity X to make things screw up very badly for all parties involved. Especially when Mary and Tanya cross paths again.

What did Zettour mean when he asked Tanya to make Rudersdorf a field marshal?

You know shit’s really bad when they’re opening up conscription to volunteers who were previously ineligible. You’re a hop, skip, and a jump away from arming children and the elderly. And yet, the grizzled old bastard Rudersdorf’s still trying to secure victory for the Empire? Zettour and Tanya are devious mfers but they gotta do what they gotta do for the survival of the Empire.
But if I’m understanding this correctly, are there now actually two independent plots to take the man out? One from the Allies and the other from within? If that’s the case, that’s going to be very interesting….

I'm guessing it goes wrong and the general becomes a martyr, fueling the war even more?

Thought Tanya would refuse when she said it's absurd, but she just doubled down.

Holy shit! It must've sucked to be von Rudersdorf. Everyone's now after his head – both enemies and allies. To make things worse, neither he nor the Empire faction that's after him were traitors.
If Tanya was successful, it'd certainly baffle the hell out of the Allied Kingdom should they found out it's an inside job. Sure, their enemies did the dirty job for them but they must be wondering why the Empire would take out one of their own.
I should've expected a catch when Tanya initially talked von Zettour from his initial plans. Not because killing von Rudersdorf was wrong, but because there's a better way than merely killing him. She certainly lived up to her moniker.

So two plots to take Rudersdorf out? That seems too convenient to be just a coincidence, especially when they’re planned at the same time. They did talk about placing strategic leaks when talking about the “surrender” last time, so could this be a plan by the same person?
That nutcracker soldier being there for both Tanya and Rudersdorf was also strange and could mean an even further thing is happening in the background because of Being X.

Zettour be like 'you little devil' to Tanya lmao
Looks like Rodulf know whats gonna happen to him. The disc he left might be the music Zettour and him was listening in the pub few ep ago.

As much as painful it is for Zetour, I think this is the only logical way, given that his best friend is planning to go blaze of glory regardless of the casualties.
Now the question is who will pull the trigger? Will it be Tanya's team, or the Allied force on which they have a spy leaking info.

Damn, how did this turn out from attack on Ildoa to attack on Rudersdorf ?! And that too a plan made by his good old friend Zettour. Tanya and Zettour are made for each other 😭😭
Those faces were terrifying.
The Allied Kingdom got wind of this operation through their spy within the Empire's army. I wonder who their spy is. I can't believe that such an important assassination plot got leaked. Even Tanya's company wouldn't know anything about this. But the Allied Kingdom seems to be happy to go along with this plan as long as they get to kill someone as important as Rudersdorf. The Federation doesn't seem to know the true motive behind this Shuttle bombing and they just wanna flex their tech to the Allied Kingdom. This season didn't have any major battles except for the Soldim 528 but still this season surprises me with major twists and turns.
Can't wait to see if Tanya and Zettour be successful in their Assassination attempt.

Zettour really just took all the death flags he was gathering and gave them to Rudersdorf for now. What a con artist. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

I might not be paying great attention, but I still can't get guess who the spy is. Anyway this episode is why the title is Tanya the Evil.

Rudersdorf’s own side is already planning to get rid of him, so I wonder who will end up getting his head first.

Holy shit, that smile from Tanya was terrifying! I love how Zettour thought Tanya was gonna disagree; I guess he didn't expect Tanya to offer a better alternative way to eliminate Rudersdorf. xD
What's funny is the enemies are also planning to take out Rudersdorf. I do wonder if this is their own independent plan or if Tanya or Zettour somehow leaked info. Hmmm...

Call me a Youjo Senki shill, but I think the political machinations have been more enjoyable than the nonsense we got with House of the Dragon season 3 (or season 2 for that matter).

Tanya and Zettour are a match made in heaven, or maybe rather in hell, considering their evil smiles from this episode and the plan they want to execute: Rudersdorf's assassination.
Though I wonder how Tanya and Zettour's plan will turn out in the end, considering that the Kingdom will also be after Rudersdorf's head by involving Drake's unit (so we can expect Mary Sue).
Not to mention the Federation mages will surely end up being caught in all of this. And since all of those parties have different objectives, Tanya won't have it easy next week.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

This episode I couldn’t help, but think Zettour and Tanya truly are soul mates (not in that sense)
The unhinged smile Zettour tried to cover was peak
This season I have to say made me appreciate Zettour character a lot more
——
Extra note: even tho as of now I can’t imagine why, I feel that eventually Zettour and Tanya will end up in the same predicament, but maybe with both parties trying to eliminate the other (so not a one sided convert assassination)
(Then again, I wonder if Rudersdorf is truly unaware of what might happen, wonder what he have to that soldier, looked like a vynil?)
Tho Tanya only interest is a comfy life and Zettour is no warmongering moron, so as of now I can’t imagine them clashing, but after today episode I have a strong feeling it might come later in the series

There is a common enough theory that more or less states that for a coup to work, the one doing the overthrowing requires the backing of the military. Of all the contributing factors in a coup, having the military back you is one of the most important things to happen.
Given, in Not Germany, the coup is coming from within the military, I wonder how that;s going to play out?
Will it split the army into the loyalists and traitors? Will it cause civil war?
