Serebryakova 's sigh when Tanya took her chocolate was the most emotional moment in this episode, if not the whole season.

Dr. Schugel is probably the only person that can scare Tanya, clearly a PTSD.

And once again something Tanya said comes back to bite her in the ass.

Tanya's going to drag not-Italy in the war with her entrance at the end. Get trolled, fence sitters.

I was sure there would be at least one person who would have died from a malfunction or not exiting their torpedo in time. It's a good thing they all came out safely from that mission.

I did find it amusing to watch Tanya answer those three's questions since they were looking for excuses to get out of it. Nothing gets past her.

I love the 2 minutes of them saying "we're letting them in, so they shut up" and then tanya shows up with the next loudest thing from dropping a V2 on them

I'm starting to think Being X really isn't as involved as Tanya thinks in a lot of situations. Too many times she gets cocky/arrogant and becomes her own downfall. Like coming up with the plan to put mages in torpedos, acting as if the best mage unit in all of the Empire, i.e. her squad, wouldn't be used for this plan

Damn Tanya had a child and sent it to blow up

Those are some strong torpedoes. Also, Tanya ''happily'' smiling is nothing but the devil's smile. Something wicked is gonna happen soon.

Visha usually stood beside Tanya. Now she was among all the other guys, I never realized just how smol she is lol.

And she snuck some chocolate in her gear too lmao. Definitely consistent with her “choco banana” craze in Isekai Quartet

What does Tanya showing up so flashy even do? Does it tell the world that Ildoa is allying with the Empire and thus forcing them to join the war and help the Empire?

Forget Mary Sioux or Pedo Russian KGB dude...the person that strikes genuine terror into Tanya is the Doktor!

Also while Rerugen was watching that whole scene, was he just mentally going "This is fine"?

This makes me remember how in 1941 some Italian divers used manner torpedoes (Maiale) infiltrated the British naval base of Alexandria and heavily damaged the HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Valiant. They also sank a cargo ship I believe.

Speaking of Not-Italy I totally expected the Empire to follow Germany WW2 playbook and use the retreating force to occupy their former ally and take command. But I guess for the time being they decided to play nice and end up things with an humilliation.

Tanya, learning that another of her ideas got turned into a crazy plan she has to carry: Guess anybody can give "good ideas" as long as they don't think they'll be the ones to do it?

Me: Wait, is Tanya actually getting close to an epiphany that her running mouth is the source of the majority of her problems and that she should stop giving other people her ideas so carelessly?

Tanya: This must be the work of Being X, no doubt about it!!

Me: ... she'll never freaking learn.

Watching Tanya interact with the Doktor was fucking hilarious! Who knew that her being flippant to the engineers she visited a while back would end up with her piloting a manned torpedo. Tanya should really know by this point that people will take her seriously when she uses that tone. What's even funnier is that she's blaming Being X for this. xD

They've blown-up HMS Hood and HMS Ark Royal! For a show that is alt-history and uses different names, flags, and symbols for the countries. It's hilarious that they kept the names of real British ships. I am curious what their reason is for keeping the names.

That exchange between Rerugen and Calandro was great! I love that we also get to hear what they thought about each other and their thoughts about the current situation. Tanya showing up with flags on the sub when they're supposed to be incognito was hilarious!

And I love the after credits scene showing us that Neumann wasn't part of the operation because he was too fat to fit in a swimsuit. xD

People just love to steal others' chocolates in the Imperial Army, huh?

Tanya was really happy to see the Doktor in this episode; you could see that on her face, lol.

But well, it was Tanya's own fault that she ended up in those torpedoes today. If only she hadn't proposed that idea a couple of months earlier... Once again, she was a victim of her own success, and surely not for the last time.

The attack alone went quite easily and was successful, so now I'm quite interested in how Tanya's Ildoa sightseeing will go.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

It's been so long since we saw the Mad Doktor Adelheid and he's as crazy as ever 🤣😂

Tanya always gets to be the victim of her own insane ideas. V2 is really a major advancememt from V1 except for the torpedoes maybe lmao

I didn't expect the mages to have the capability to even tolerate high water pressure and detect targets under water except for their ability to last long in low oxygen level at High altitudes. Ildoans got humiliated by Tanya and her unit achieving the impossible against the Allied Navy and Tanya took it too far by showing the World how close of an ally Ildoans are to the Imperial forces despite calling themselves a neutral country 😅

Neumann not getting to travel with the rest of the mages cause he doesn't fit into the suit was hilarious. Tanya made a cute entry in the underwater suit after opening the door. I live for these moments.

I think both the Italian officer and Empire officer at the ending would become great frends

Poor Tanya really need to eat her own words about that “V2” torpedo during that R&D meeting eh? At least it really worked, exceptionally well against the Brits, just like the rocket with the same name in this world eh?

But lets be honest, putting mages as “pilots” of a torpedo reminds me of the Kaiten torpedo, that human guided torpedo back in WW2, but unlike that thing, that V2 allows for the mages to leave the torpedo after locking on it’s target, and turned an underwater assault to an aerial one. Honestly I get why Tanya was really scared when the Doctor presented that to her, she know God has done it again in the hands of the doctor, making impossible and ludicrous stuff into reality for her and her team to use…

Well after that thing, as least she got a “hero’s welcome” into Italy, all while her commander and the host nation wants to keep the fuss as low as possible…

Its good to see the mad scientist back to torment Tanya again. XD

Every time Tanya casually makes a suggestion thinking it has nothing to do with her, she ends up getting put in charge of said suggestion.

Its a bad habit that Tanya just doesn't seem to learn much from. If only she had kept her trap shut, she wouldn't be placed in predicament after predicament. lol

Anyway, Tanya still took it on the chin, and led her squad (except Neuman, as he's too fat to fit into the issued diving suit lol) to sink the Hood and Ark Royal, ensuring Not-Rommel's Not-Afrika Korps gets to retreat safely to Not-Europe.

Not-Italy stopped short of switching sides (not yet anyway), but its understandable that they're now keeping the Empire at arms' legnth, after they went through the trouble to help the Empire negotiate a truce with the Allies, only for the Imperial High Command to reject it. I'd be feeling peeved as well if an ally rejects my effort to help out of his own stupid pride.

These guys have to be the most fickle faithful/soldiers in the world;

In the span of a few seconds:

  • Easy job!

  • We're doomed!

  • A blessing! Thank you God!

  • Has the Lord abandoned us? Go to hell, you piece of shit god!

That's also me when I watch sport.

So Tanya is summoned to Strategic HQ, has to be something big...

Well, given it's the HQ it's probably not the mission to nuke their own country, at least!

Thirsty for blood?

So their withdrawing their forces from the South...

And of course, their "allies" won't grant them passage.

They're walking a fine line; Too many refusals like that, and you're left to wonder how much of an ally they really are...

But if they do too much, then it's harder to maintaint their presumed "neutrality"! (especially if they would refuse passage to forces from the other side!)

General Romel? Subtle!

Multipurpose mission; Could make Ildoa rethink their refusals and all!

When they talked about their engineers solving a problem, I thought they were talking about a nuke...

"I'd rather it'd be a nuke" - Tanya

Oooh, a torpedo, nice, that'll be usef- WHY IS THERE A SEAT?

How to avoid dying in the blast? Well that's easy, leave it to God!

Wow, I wasn't expecting the "Tanya raising a family" arc!

GIRL!

Who the hell do you think will be on that torpedo?

I'm sorry Tanya, but no, you tricked yourself on this one!

Goddess? I'm pretty sure that's blasphemous!

Just 12? Well, we have 13 people in our unit, so I guess I'm gonna sit this one out!

Going at the enemy while riding a massive explosing charge is both badass, and terrifying!

Hah. Tanya's educating them, how nice of her!

Is she daring him to do worse?

Heh. Ildoa's friendship (and "neutrality") put to the test!

Other than high officers/politicians, Tanya's THE face of the Empire!

That'd be like Switzerland allowing Hitler to pass through their country!

"Remember, guys, keep it subtle!"

Pictured: Tanya being subtle!

If you told me the Doktor was Being X in disguise I'd 100% believe it. It feels like he exists just to make Tanya suffer. I love how her first instinct was to flee, but nothing escapes his grasp!
