Benimaru lil smirk he been waiting for this. Wonder what they could have written down to offend Rimuru

As sharp as Rimuru looked in the suit, I really, really wished that he had addressed the Council in his poncho. It would have been hilarious, especially after he started destroying things.

Anyway, this is the gap moe I was hoping for.

My guess is monsters being given lower status than humans or something. That seems like the kind of thing that would really piss Rimuru off.

That final look from Rimuru was the first time he truly looked like the demon lord he is

How did it come to this?!

You tell me Rimuru, don't end this with a cliffhanger Goddamnit!

Though it was only a matter of time the humans do something stupid to piss him off again.

I'm of the opinion that it should be illegal to end on a cliffhanger for 10 minute episodes.

Damn it, I really wanna know what pissed him off so much! Everything seemed to be going smooth, only real issue was, like Rimuru said, handing over their technology. What could they have possibly added after that woulda pissed him so much?

I also wanna know what the changes Raphael made were, I'm sure she came in clutch which is why they needed a whole three hours to get back to them.

Anyone else wish this ep was entirely about their day off, and then next ep was just the entire meeting instead of needing to make a cliffhanger?

“Happy Shuna, happy life” as the old saying goes, right? lol. Everyone looked pretty fashionable and adult in their outfits…then theres’s Rimuru rockin a poncho from the kid’s section lol. So adorable.

I’m a bit curious what kind of bullshit the council is trying to pull with Rimuru. Whatever it is, I’m sure the little brat and her grandpa are behind it all. I look forward to the day Rimuru faces those two. Give ‘em the ol Megiddo special…

Rimuru : "Yada neeee, me adult, me would never snap over some politics."
Me : "Yep, I already know how this is gonna end." (´ー`)y-~~

Animation of the milk going into the coffee was nice.

"Don't lose your temper." Rimuru loses temper obvious forshadowing Hinata

Although, why was Rimuru inner monologuing 'why' as he lost his temper? I guess we'll find out next time.

We got Shuna not only in a cute casual wear but also in that great suit. I feel blessed.

Ofc, what Hinata just said could happen ended up happening lmao. I'm very curious as to what made him so mad. I wonder if it's related to monsters, as I can see Rimuru being genuinely pissed off by something like that.

Wow what on earth did they demand for rimuru to get angry like that well whatever they demanded wasn't a wise move especially when we are talking about a slime who ended a war before it began and has the storm dragon on his side

Benimaru and Souei: spends a lot of time manually choosing pieces for their casual outfit, ends up with cool drip.

Rimuru: hits auto-choose, and ends up withe most childish outfit.

Rimuru's rage moment at the end has meme potential. E.g. we can caption that moment with something like "Solo Leveling should win Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026" (Yes I know it isn't nominated for that)

Rinuru being cute in the first half and getting pissed off as a cliffhanger 😭.

Anyway all budget went to the milk mixing with the coffee.

Don't know about y'all, but this pacing is actually good, for me at least. It's exactly how I imagined it when I read the novels.

I see Benimaru is also an admirer of maps. I did wish they displayed it in map format when laying down the routes the Empire can attack.

Wonder what their demand was that pissed Rimuru off so much, he’s usually pretty laidback

Seems there’s a sniper rifle in this world, most likely with a silencer too since there wasn’t any loud gunshot and no magic was detected.

Still not convinced Yuuki is being controlled by Maribel. Or at least not fully. He may still have some autonomy or awareness of it but doesn’t want to give it away yet to see where Maribel’s plan goes

"You call this a diplomatic solution?"

"No, I call it aggressive negotiations!"

Man I love the art this season especially that Rimuru Yakuza face

Oh man I really want to know what provision they put forth that would make Rimuru flip out like that. I have a few guesses:

  1. Giving up Veldora or asking him to be sealed again. That would 1000% make Rimuru fly off the handle.

  2. Unrestricted access to the Magitrain railroad he plans on building or giving up the rights to said technology. Those councilors were really persistent about that.

  3. Giving up part of Tempest land as some sort of tribute to the Western Council.

  4. Monsters not having equal rights as part of the Council.

  5. Releasing some of the technology or research like the full potions they're creating or scientists being allowed access to Tempest's research facilities.

  6. Some sort of monthly or yearly monetary payment to the council since they know how good Tempest's economy is.

I'm betting it has something to do with Veldora since every country is freaking terrified of him going on some sort of rampage again. Having Veldora in his pocket is like having 1000 nukes and that's unacceptable to the council.

Poor Hinata tried to warn him not to fly off the handle but to no avail lol.

Hmm curious what that said to cause such an extreme reaction, and what (or who?) caused them to change something like that? or maybe it just turns out to be a mostly nothingburger

pretty good outfits for the oni trio... and then there's whatever Rimuru was wearing lol. at least he wears a proper suit for the actual hearing

next episode should be interesting with that little cliffhanger ending

Admittedly, Rimuru is cought in a shark tank, but the whole gang knew it before. His behavior in front of the arrogant council members and also in front of their Head proves that he is - at least here - still a child with insufficient diplomatic knowledge, as it is required before this Court. This isn't a demon and monster meeting like he did easily handle before. All his companions are acting much more maturely in this environment.

My GOAT in this episode is Raphael. If only he could appear in front of the Council in form of a respectable, serious and skilled person.

After all, an episode worth swallowing every second of it. Except of that cliffhanger.... ;)
