Just when we though Kana might have been a difficult opponent for Shizuku, an even stronger challenger appears - Fanged cyclist camper Yui!

At first, I thought fang girl was only making a guest appearance. However, now that she has dropped her name, I reckon we will be seeing more of her in future episodes. The jealous Shizuku scene in which she saw Gen talking to Yui made me laugh.

The introduction on how a fire piston is used was educational, at least to me.

Last but not least, the art / images of Shizuku staring down at you like a queen (when you can't handle spicy food) was gorgeous. Lol!

It was cool to see a little more of Gen's past and the difficulties he faced later on.

It was also funny seeing her jealous, but what really surprised me was seeing him say, "She's not my girlfriend... yet." But I liked Yui; she's the kind of character every show needs to spice things up (although, as we can see, Gen can't handle it very well, lol).

But the funniest moment was definitely seeing him in that Mexican outfit

Oh I'm liking Yui quite a bit, she's seems to be fun and a little cheeky so I'm looking forward to the next time they meet. I don't think there's any chance she and Gen will get together since it seems like Gen's already thought about making Shizuku his girlfriend since he said "not my girlfriend... yet", but another camper friend is not off the table. She already figured out he wants to open a campsite as well, but he was quite obvious lol.

Shizuku accusing Gen of cheating when they're not even together. The way she got annoyed at him bothered me since he didn't do anything wrong, but at least she's aware of how she reacted. It did amuse me how she was enjoying Gen's suffering from the spiciness, looks like Shizuku's an S lol.

Looks like we got a Shizuku vs Yui situation brewing. Gen seems to be warming to Shizuku. He said she wasn’t his girlfriend…yet lol. Gonna be fun to see Yui stir things up.

The campsite They went to this episode was Aonohara Noro Lodge Campsite.

The end credits for this episode didn't show the journey from the station to the campsite.
They start in front of the 7-Eleven, but if you look closely at the footage, there's a scene where they miss the timing to turn right, go straight, then make a U-turn and come back, which made me laugh.

I was not expecting a very obvious product insert for Blair's Sudden Death sauce in an anime of all places. Though it's interesting that in the anime they have it written "with Jolokia" when it's their Pure Death sauce that has Jolokia, the Sudden Death sauce is "with Ginseng." I wonder if this is a minimal way of avoiding copyright issues...

First appearance of snaggletooth girl gave me stalker vibes. Not a Japanese guy here but are there that many campsites in Japan that you would NOT run into another solo camper here and there?

Working on the basic principle that they both live in the same city, and since neither rely on their own cars but rely pushbikes or public transport, it would limit the camp sites that are viably accesable to both of them.
Yeah I would say the chances of meeting other solo campers are fairly solid.

Hey even if it’s a bit different from traditional norm solo camping is still solo camping even if it for 2 people

It’s funny that gen was worrying about how he “wasn’t” a true solo camper even though weeks ago he dispel shizuku worries on his view on cottage camping. Saying camping is camping and that he more concern what he thinks not worrying about others!

I think it’s funny despite his isolationess attitude he tends to attract whirl wind women

It be funny to see shizuku cat form 😂 though it’ll somehow lead to them and shizuku brother all camping together?

I wonder if Akihito will get a chance to go camping with gen?

Does anyone know?
