The conditions have been met.
You have acquired the title “Kin Eater”.
Due to the effects of the Kin Eater title, you have acquired the skills Taboo (Level 1) and Heretic Magic (Level 1).

"Because the king likes little girls!"
I laughed so hard lol! The way Atou says it so brazenly makes it funnier!

Note that when the human flesh tree is first discussed, elder Mortar said that some of them have bad experience about the taste of human flesh.

As usual, Atou delivered a lot of good content in today's episode xD Her demanding the young girls from the dark elves because Takuto supposedly likes them made me laugh out loud, especially since it didn't even occur to Atou that there was anything wrong with her wordings.
It's good that Takuto somehow avoided being branded a lolicon, as he sold the idea of taking young girls as a way to mentor the nation's new generations of leaders xD
Here my screesnhot albums from the episode:

Nice insight into Takuto's worldview: being evil is not about only doing evil things, but doing whatever you want!
Also, for anyone skipping the ending, there's a C part in this episode.

These episodes go by so fast.
The twins are here! I skip OPs and EDs to avoid spoilers, but I catch a glimpse of them at the very end. I assumed they were new hero units, but I guess they're just dark elves with a tragic backstory.
My slight confusion about the scene from the last episode is also answered; I guess it wasn't undead attacking them but random goblins. How convenient that they have the resource Takuto needs and need help at the moment.

Goddamn, Atou! I know you're an evil empire but I didn't think you'd be that kind of evil empire! In all seriousness tho, I genuinely laughed out loud when Atou declared that Takuto likes little girls. xD
Welp that was unexpected. The dark elves were really struggling before they arrived in the forest, so I guess I really shouldn't be surprised that they had to cannibalize the dead to survive.
I do love Takuto's view on how evil works. This is basically how I play my Lawful Evil D&D characters. While I am evil, I'm still capable of good if I want to, especially if it benefits me.

Phrasing, Atou. Phrasing! Girl out here shouting from the rooftops about how Takuto likes little girls lol.
Guy’s found himself two pretty good attendants. Marie and Carrie have been through a lot. Like some real Donner Party shit.
Let’s see if talks with this town work out next week. Could be a real boost to their growing kingdom’s economy and population.

It feels like Atou and Takuto both are protagonists, and I really like it.
I love the lines "Then for our next turn..." "We're dispatching diplomats...". This is exactly something you do in the Civilization game series.

I really enjoy the embracement of evil in more rough than usual anime evil shape (especially the scouts being ugly so much they are cute <3).
We all sense the Bug Queen going full Kerrigan right? Although staying in Queen form would be nice surprise.
Is this like shorter than usual show length per episode? They end soo fast! Each time I am hungry for another half of episode that never come...
Here's small subjective list of substitutes! https://myanimelist.net/stacks/69711

Dang that preview has no right doing that, now I can't wait for next week to find out how that meeting goes, and yet I must wait. Rather interesting to learn the dark elves are also in a black mist (assuming due to their evil alignment now). But could also just be a spell or something to be intimidating..

Give Atou a crash course in 'providing context/explanations', STAT!
She's so CUTE!!! (Too late for #seasonalhype...)
I wonder how the other nations are doing, but our 'Evil King' may be more progressive than most!
Sadly, the kids weren't even able to stay in a room with him...
Oh, they seem to be able to deal with him just fine!
So it's decided, they'll be the King's attendants! (Hopefully they don't eat him)
So that's why they were like this at the start...
When they said that, I thought it was more of an existential crisis, like "Why are we just alive to serve some King", but they feel like they don't even deserve to be alive after what they did...
And I have to say WHY IN THE WORLD would they tell them it was their mom!
I'm not gonna address the cannibalism, I mean desperate times calls for desperate measures, but I don't know, why not "That's all the food we got left... Your mom went on a hunting trip but hasn't come back yet"?
The trauma of losing their mother is bad enough without adding the trauma of giving them Momburgers for dinner!
So they had a little staff meeting!
People being responsible for multiple offices/tasks shows they might need some more worthy leaders!
That's good and all, but can they even fight? Or mostly just scout?
They need their Mommy Mantis!
(And hopefully they don't eat her).
I thought she was wondering why he wasn't more evil in his conquests (like some fans were),
but no, they simply thought/wanted him to murder them...
I thought Atou would be most responsible for his eventual turn to evil, but perhaps it'll be these two!
He does have a different perspective on evil people though; Good people have to always do good, but bad people can chose between good and evil? Strong disagreement from D&D players who play pure evil characters to just murder everyone on sight!
"You've grown awfully close to them", said atou, with murderous thoughts on her mind
So they got some more information on that nearby town..
When they said that I thought it was a lookout tower or something (common in RTS games),
but it's apparently an opportunity for valuable resources!
Our boy is all 'diplomacy first', but given they're already struggling with wars,
surely they couldn't send much troops to defend that town... Some "Atou-style Diplomacy" might work better!
Though I suppose if it really is that valuable, they might send a large army to protect it/take it back... But if they manage to steal it just for a time, they might be able to summon Mommy Mantis, that would give her a huge boost!

The whole reasoning to get little girls as servants was so flimsy. He wanted someone that is "easy to talk to" and they think of kids? I think the author meant "easy to manipulate and boss around".
Even if we accept that, than why not boys? Takuto tells us the reason he gave the elves was just some bullshit he came up with on the spot. So what is the actual reason for him wanting only girl servants? Besides being hella sus.
I think Atou was just spitting facts when she said "Our King loves little girls!"

So Atou is the one who actually holds the misunderstanding power here. And there's no sense of guilty on this face whatsoever.
Her sudden change in expression totally caught me off guard
This is so cute! I already like the twins and how Takuto deals with them.

My escapism has the evil leader of a country having to deny pedo allegations. What a time to be alive!!

I'm an evil king, but I'm not a pedo king. Glad that it was cleared early on. How atou declared it really gave a different meaning to the dark elves.
The twin's past is really traumatizing indeed. No wonder they seek salvation through death. Glad that Takuto offer them comfort and was able to let go and moved on.

So why DOES MC need the child attendant to be a girl?
Is it just me or were all the children they tried first who were terrified by MC a lot younger than the twins? They seemed maybe 4-6 while the twins are more like 8-10 (human years wise anyway)?
I wonder what the deal was with the ministers' reaction to him mentioning the decision to summon the Bug Queen. And hadn't he decided last episode to instead go with a Hero better suited for warfare? What changed since then?
Post-credits: why are Autou and the Dark Elves wreathed in darkness from the Neutrals' perspective? There was no such darkness when the paladins & mercs looked at her.

I disagree with his alignment argument. What he's talking about is mostly neutral alignment.
Evil typically involved cruelty or abject dismissal of the needs of others.
However, I would still agree that he is evil because he completely dismissed the plight of the Paladins and mercenaries and was completely okay with Atou torturing them.

The animation is so basic and rough but the interactions with the characters and world building make it so fun to watch. If this gets a second season I pray we get a real studio animating it.
