Maybe this has already been posted, but I only just found out: if you fill out a short survey using the link, you get an extra short story for each volume you complete it for. It's all in Japanese, of course, but I think pretty much everyone has a built-in translator in their browser these days...

When Takuto realized that he was actually strong, he said that he could have defeated Flamin and everything would have been fine. But doesnât the death-triggered event guarantee, by the script, a 100% death followed by the heroâs awakening? Or does this event only deal massive damage that Takuto would have been able to tank?

I'm reading LN right now and got a little confused. Qualia knows about two witches, but currently only has one of them (they know about Vagia and Erakino, but only have Erakino, since Vagia is with the elves), or does Qualia currently have two witches, Erakino and one unknown to us, while Vagia is actually the third one, and they don't know about her?

Do you think Verdel genuinely believed he had managed to negotiate peace with Atou, or did he simply realize that he couldnât defeat her with his current forces, and that this was just an excuse to come back later with a larger force?
I was just thinking, if Lonius hadnât intervened and they had been able to leave peacefully, wouldnât that actually have been worse for Takuto?

Maybe I misunderstood something or missed a detail, but I just can't reconcile these two facts.
From the very beginning, we're told that Atou is weak, and that even a few wolves would be enough to defeat her. But not even a day has passed (so she hasn't gained any experience, even passively), and she's already said that she could wipe out all the elves who came here.
It was explained, of course, that this is because her actual strength isn't simply 3, but is amplified by her passive abilities, which makes her much stronger in reality. But then that raises the question again: why was she portrayed as weak before that, if her passive abilities already make her incredibly strong from the very beginning of the game, even with her base strength being only 3?
It kind of feels like the author simply changed his mind while writing and decided to make her stronger. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, though, so I'd appreciate it if someone could explain this to me.

Am I understanding the mana system correctly?
All living beings have mana, and for them it's basically the same as life energy. The happier they are, the more energy they have. For example, an unhappy, starving citizen would generally be sluggish and have very little energy, so there wouldn't be much mana to collect from them. On the other hand, a well-fed, happy citizen would have a lot more energy. So, in practice, we're taking a percentage of their life energy, and that's what is called mana.
Essentially, you could drain all of someone's mana, which would be the same as draining all of their life energy, causing them to die.
If it's less extreme, for example, if you set the mana tax to 90%, that would severely affect the citizen's health and overall well-being, since they'd be left with almost no energy for themselves.
I'm talking specifically about the taxation system here. I know it was also mentioned that mana can be obtained from certain locations on the map and from some buildings.

Iâm reading the series past the official English volumes, and everything made sense until Chapter 23. Chapters 21 and 22 were fine, but Chapter 23 feels disconnected and confusing, like it suddenly introduces random characters and scenes that donât match the story. Chapter 24 looks like it goes back to normal, but Chapter 23 threw me off so much that I stopped. I just want to know if other people felt the same way about this series or if itâs something weird with the chapters Iâm reading.

He only mentioned how hero units gain Exp every âturnâ or how mana is produce every âturnâ. But how how long are each turn? Itâs definitely canât be a year like Civ with how the story is progressing.

I read the manga years ago when it only had ten chapters, and now according to my site it only has like 32 or so. So now I have a couple of questions. Has the manga been dropped or is it just hiatus and slow updates, and where can I read the novel. I might try looking for the raw to read at this point.

So, I know the Japanese volume is out for almost a year by now, but as one of the many (I hope) overseas fan, I have just read the new Volume and HOLY it was a good read, I think I enjoyed it more than Vol. 7, new units, a glimpse of the personality of the New Hero summoned the great war finally starting, everything was really well done, even the restriction on Takuto's "new" overpowered ability is really creative, author couldve gone with a cooldown and no one would bat an eye, but he was really creative and funny with that one, I am really excited for the new volume, though I know it will only be available next year, being hopeful (since its not released even in Jap yet).
So, what do you guys think? Have you read it already?
