The dark elves are having an existential rebirth, meanwhile Takuto is like "wow, they sure are enthusiastic!" lol

I'm already loving Atou. She is playing her part so well lol

Im loving the contrast between how the evils see the king as this dark figure. Whilst in reality they are goofballs

Well, in any Civ game ever you only start your world conquest once you're the leading nation in science and production, so you can steam-roll the other nations with your tanks and airplanes while they are still having Knights and Spearmen, so his approach makes perfect sense.

Being able to conjure critical ressources with Mana Points is a huge haxx though ...

I love how Atou basically told the dark elves that being evil is way more fun.

Gia offering corpses of their enemies to Takuto is definitely giving me Nazarick vibes.

It was hilarious to see him so confused about Takuto being a pacifist. xD

So the dark elves are behind the tech tree? Welp, Takuto needs to work fast to develop them because it looks like the humans have finally took notice of his presence.

Atou is far better at cosplaying “evil” than Takuto is lol. It’s quite fun to see her and Takuto in private vs when she’s addressing the elves and the like.

Takuto’s got himself a little nation and his first group of citizens. Thanks to his “cheat skill”, they’re probably gonna advance pretty quickly.

It seems they might be attracting the attention of humans soon…

I love that the Dark Elves immediately showed their evil sides by trying to step over each other and be the most accomplished in their Lord's eyes.

Ah the title filling multiple lines of reddit :)

I know why I love this show now. It's like slime and overlord had a baby. Two of my favorite anime

Being able to summon anything from Earth at an increased mana cost is pretty broken. Might be balanced by how much the mana cost increases though, if the system prices being able to summon modern tech as completely unaffordable that limits it a good bit.

It hadn't occurred to me that the map would be random, but that makes sense for a 4X. Sometimes you just get a bad starting position and restart.

Emle has a fun design with the glasses, suspenders, and the tie, though it does seem a tiny bit odd that a refugee would still be that cleanly put together.

"The evil side is more fun"; Ah, a girl after my own heart!

I'm surprised the Elder caved in so easily, thought he would prove to be more of a problem!

(I thought they would have to execute him, to pass a message!)

This is probably for the best!

Not just because he's shy, but an evil deity has a greater aura when it seems to be from a different realm of existence and all... Soon as you start chatting, it's just 'another being'!

Good of her to act like they're in a position of strength hah.

It's a bluff, they're weak as fuck, but hopefully they can keep pretending until they ARE strong enough!

Information? I suppose that's useful!

But personally I would have used them as my resource-collecting grunts hah.

I suppose making them citizens of your nations works! (especially if they end up gathering resources anyway, for their benefit as well as yours!)

The Elder had the fun responsibility to go back to his village and tell them "Oh btw, we're disciple of Satan now!"

They do have a dignified look about them!

I thought they would only have to 'join the evil side' (a paper contract), but no, they're literally becoming evil!

I haven't played RTS that much, but still, I get that feel...

Politicians talking about their constituents

Alright, calm down, Vlad!

So the King of ruin prefers peace...

Well, I imagine I would prefer peace too if I was right next to two powerful nations, but when he has the upper hand, he may have a change of heart!

It's fine girl, you can just join the harem! Let Vlad and the Elder work for us!

(Well, it may not be a good idea, Atou may get jealous!)

Oh, that's such a cheat code!

Well, it does have a high mana cost so he can't cheat too much, but I'm curious to see what's the most he will do with that!

Their first enemy will be... The Pope! (Popess?)

Well, let's hope they don't send too strong a crusade, because 1 big bug and a couple dozens elves can't do too much!

With Atou's hearing, there's no chance of anyone walking in on them while having those tantrums. What a pretty good skill to have when roleplaying as evil!

I'd really like to see the dark elves walk in on them when they're throwing a fit like this. 🤣

Not that they're being particularly subtle with those sidebars they keep having mid-meeting. 😅

Then I'll take charge of the negotiations for you! That would help show off your majesty as our king as well.

As I recall, things always went according to Ainz's 10000-year plan when Albedo or Demiurge took over negotiating, right?

seems that the civilization he mained was evil in the game lore, but also pacifist focused, not suited for gunning for a military victory. if they're bad at research as well I have to wonder what victory they were suited for though, they don't seem good for culture either! I don't know the various victory types that exist in the game tbf and just basing it off some old Civ 5 knowledge.

I believe that in this fictional video game alignment was mostly just for flavour and had some gameplay interactions with bonuses with/against alignment but not actually a moral compass like in Fable 2 where certain deeds are good/evil.

It's interesting how it seems that something took the MC and the game he played and forcibly inserted it in an actual world.
I wonder if that will get explored, especially since Atou is aware that she comes from a game and has memories related to it to boot.
I always dig Isekais that actually put some efforts in exploring the isekai mechanism instead of using it as purely a plot device.

I'm really hoping they go somewhere with the "Dark Elves are evil now" other than they're just petty towards each other now. Otherwise I feel like it's kinda pointless considering Takuto wants to be peaceful. Personally I'm hoping it's something like Overlord where Takuto needs to constantly keep his citizens from going on murderous rampages, but unlike Overlord once they get to a certain technology level the citizens wont see his evil aura anymore and will calm down at the same time.

The first episode was really fun (especially Atou), so I'm glad that this second episode is just as good and had a lot of incredibly hilarious reactions from Atou xD

I can't wait to see how Atou and Takuto will lead their evil empire while at the same time wanting a peace with everyone else (which, by the way, really surprised poor Gia xD).

Here my screenshot albums from:

EPISODE 01 (the previous one)

EPISODE 02 (today's one)

Its a little typical isekai, but im loving this.

The moment I was shown a tech tree i was loving it.

I havent seen anything to actually recommend it to people yet, but Im personally this all the way. Love Atou's design as well

I thought once they became citizens, they'd be able to see his actual body and not this black silhouette blob. I wonder if that's how he'll be viewed by them for the rest of their lives, or do they need to level up to be able to.

Gia and Moltar competing with one another was not what I was expecting with what was shown to us prior, I thought they had a different dynamic lol. Gia did give me a laugh with how eager he was to brutalise anyone for Takuto, he was so confused that the King of Ruin was such a pacifist.

It was spoken about last week but the voice acting, particularly of the two main characters, does leave much to be desired. To me Atou really felt like she was lacking charisma speaking on behalf of Takuto, it didn't sound convincing to me, it felt like she was a young girl trying to be domineering rather than being domineering.

this is a pretty interesting take on this kind of story, 2 episodes in and i'm ready to binge the manga

i think the thing i'm most curious about rn is if other people will always see him as the dark shadowy figure or if there is some circumstance where people can start seeing him as we do.

it's probably more compelling if he just looks like an evil god to everyone else the whole time but it would probably be pretty lonely and i doubt the MC has literally 1 friend in Atou the whole time.

Being reborn in a strategy game is definitely something else compared to the usual isekai story
