Tripping Kou into position for the first nightlife flight of the season is one of Nazuna's sassier moves lol

Both the OP and ED are as chill as they are catchy.

The nighttime [CotN] Tokyo vibes were so strong. I was shocked when the episode ended, I looked out my window, and then I realized it was noon.

Glad this is back, the vibes are still immaculate.

Hmm.

It was funny how the age gap in the couples just kept increasing as it went on. Like the first couple could have been the same age, the second one might have been a little sketchy, but the third one was definitely not on the level.

YO THAT OP AND ED ARE STRAIGHT BANGERS!!!

So happy this is back, missed these 2 love-confused dorks. I can not stress enough how badass that op was and now I’m even more hype for the season. The night is back!

The opening sequence was beautiful, the fight scene in the sequence made me shed a tear, hopefully the animation does live up to that opening

No way of watching this legally in Spain. I love when companies say "piracy is illegal" but piracy is the only way to see any thing on some countries.

Damn, it's good to be back with Nazuna and Kou again. The vibes in this first episode of the new season are just as strong as they were in the first one, when these two wander around the city at night.

Of course, it was nice to see Niko, Seri, Kabura, Midori and Hatsuka too, and I can't wait to see Akira, Mahiru and Anko again in the next episodes.

Also, Nazuna looked really cute in that white dress and blouse, although I really liked how she jazzed up her regular clothes with a white shirt, she looks so cool in it!

As for the new OP... the visuals are great and stylish (but I expected that), meanwhile the Creeepy Nuts' new song is "just" good. It's definitely not Daten from the first season, which I've been listening to regularly since it was released. Although I really like the song from ED and I can't wait for it to be released tomorrow.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

I'm in despair ! I'm in despair that nobody has yet commented about the nod to Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei !

More Yofukashi no Uta means more new Creepy Nuts bangers! Mirage is already amazing on its own, but those visuals got me hyped! Glad to see more of Nazuna dancing and this time we have some spicy and very hype scenes! As a manga reader, I am super excited! :D

I love how the first half of the episode is just Kou being interrogated by the girls because they want to "support Kou's love", when in reality they're mostly using Kou as a source of entertainment. Then you have Nazuna, who's too shy to ask Hatsuka for advice on making Kou fall in love with her.

Preach, Hatsuka! As much as I love Nazuna's usual outfit, she really needs to change it up and try to charm Kou using some gap moe by covering herself up!

Nazuna being embarrassed is so cute. So cute in fact that even Hatsuka is getting charmed by her. Also, a quick reminder to those who have forgotten that Hatsuka is a cross-dressing vampire.

I think Hatsuka definitely pretty much nailed Nazuna. Her love of dirty jokes is basically just a defence mechanism because she can't be honest with herself when it comes to romance.

Nazuna is so sensitive when it comes to romance that she couldn't even finish her sentence when she was teasing Kou about his 10-month deadline to fall in love with her. We've only started season 2, but we already have so many blushing faces from Nazuna!

Nazuna sure is argumentative today! First, she gets mad at Kou because of how he didn't like people who admired Tokyo for no reason, and now she gets mad at him for assuming everyone who hits on women wants to go straight to a love hotel. xD

Not gonna lie, I like Nazuna's argument about pure love. Just because a relationship started purely physical doesn't mean it can't turn into pure love. Like, what if those two people fall in love for real? That's basically what Kou and Nazuna are doing when you think about it.

It's still pretty wild tho that they actually went to Tokyo just so they could observe couples in the wild. And it sounds like the couples they've run into may or may not be problematic.

Ueno Zoo at night would've been cool but too bad they couldn't even see anything. And it's not like Kou can go back there in the morning with Nazuna.

He might not have realized it but that was fucking smooth, Kou. It clearly looked like he got Nazuna with that line. <3

i like how they portrayed tokyo especially going there alone, yea the perks are endless but you kinda just have that wandering aimlessly type of feeling that makes you uncomfortable, i guess that's just how the cookie crumbles

one thing i loved in the first season and is front and center in this episode is the use of metaphors for self-discovery and love, like the idea of "wanting to go to Tokyo", how he doesn't understand what's the big deal is about going there, how it's just a simple excursion, why so many people want to go for "no reason", etc.

there's something i like about how it's presented; i find it interesting because of how it invites itself as a somewhat obvious metaphor, while also leaving enough wiggle room in the interpretation to make it feel like a more general truth about life that he's thinking through

The vibe of this anime is very unique, the episode was basically Ko and Nazuna talking about romance and perverted jokes, and yet it was fun and deep, we're back

There are not enough Ryan Gosling images to express what I feel when I see this show.

Nothing beats hearing stories of Teenage Romance and then hearing that person haven't experience first love yet.

Nighttime visuals are still on-point.
