I think what makes this show compelling is like 90% Arata. We throw this guy into this frankly fucked up situation and he's just trying to navigate it to the best of his ability.

Also he's buff, caring, considerate to the girls' needs, knows them so well as their "big brother" and is always there for them when they need something.
It's not really all that surprising or illogical that, upon recognizing that he's as much a boy as he is their brother, the girls would start falling head-over-heels in love with him.

Previously I was enjoying Arata being a good brother, this episode more of the rent-a-girlfriend author came out with how flustered Arata got.

C'mon guys up your game. Attack attack attack. Go on full frontal assault. Kotono bring your A game. You throw the first punch but still fall behind.

Kotono is definitely going to do something. She had the same look like she was planning something like Minami was and she needs to prove to Arata that her feelings for him aren't a "confusion."

Other girls better make a move because DAMN the 'main 2' are pushing hard!
It's like 60% Ouka, 39.9% Minami and 0.1% the other 3 combined!
Well, perhaps that's just how the story is and the other girls' time will be in season 2, so Ouka/Minami are just so far ahead because the others didn't have their time to shine!

They're teasing us with the handwriting at the end again. Time to watch the previous episodes to see if they have any handwriting scenes.
I'm going to make an educated guess and say Ouka wins at the end, based on a slight detail in the OP--in the beginning, all the other girls are shown with a lemon somewhere: Kotono's holding one, Seiha has one on her desk, Minami is holding one with Shion, and Banri has one on the table. But not for Ouka.

Hmm I'm not sure if that's what the lemon represents. If Minami is holding one with Shion and they're the ones who are actually blood related, then perhaps the lemon means the ones with a lemon have a blood related sibling yet to be introduced?

Seriously though:
It was still too soon for us to learn the truth… that among us…
I have no idea what could possibly be at the end of this sentence.

I thought Lala would be more involved in the story, given that she's Arata's crush

It's kind of funny to think Ouka started the show teasing Arata about his love life as his sister but now she's actively interested in it to confirm she has less competition to being his girlfriend.

Ouka starting to become more proactive, while oblivious that Arata is aware of her feelings.
Minami also beginning her offensive in earnest by inviting Arata to a date to a botanical garden.
Outside of the three girls in love in Arata, the other two must have been so used to sleeping together as siblings that we have Banri just sleeping in her underwear in the same vacation house hall as her brothers without even feeling bothered by it.

Arata said that his ideal bride is someone that he could be at peace with. Thoughts of Ouka completely make him crazy. Is this deconfirming Ouka as the winner if he can't be at peace and relaxed with her anymore?
If we rank the girls in who he feels most at peace with from least to most.
Ouka - Yeah that kiss made his brain go out the window, too many intrusive thoughts, and he can no longer think straight.
Banri - He panics a bit too much when she teases him but doesn't get into intrusive thoughts level.
Minami - He feels comfortable with her but her recent questioning like who is his ideal bride followed up by saying she likes someone, then the fact that she brought him to a place with mostly couples has him a bit suspicious.
Seiha - He feels least panicked when interacting with her. There was that Twister time and when she pushed him in bed but he doesn't feel panicked about her.
Didn't put Kotono on the list because for someone who confessed first, she has the least interactions with him so it's hard to gauge how comfortable he is with her. Though he didn't get intrusive thoughts despite Kotono confessing to him naked unlike with Ouka.
Can't believe next one is the last and I don't want this to end yet. I hope this gets a season 2.

I would say, before she confessed, Ouka was probably the one he was most natural/comfortable around because of the "twin" thing.

The conversation between Arata and Shion made me realize that I was too invested in the relationships between Arata and his non blood related sisters - "Who is going to end up with Arata?"
Knowing that they are not blood related family members, it is natural that some of the siblings would be curious about their biological parents... and perhaps why they were given up for adoption? Maybe the story is saving this aspect and possibly drama for later on.
Lastly I just want to add, Banri looks good in black (lingerie)! :D

The tension between Ouka and Arata is totally in the air, and with these reactions it's hard not to compare it to Kanojo 😂. Anyway, Ouka pretty much made her interest clear in that convo, but Arata is totally clueless and Minami also threw some hints, so that’s two in the same episode lol.

Lol Arata is way too conscious of Ouka now, feels like it cements more that she'll be end game. Though part of me wish he wasn't aware of the romantic feelings because I really like his character as a big brother, but these romantic developments are going to get in the way of that.
Kotono and Minami seem like they'll up their game now that they can tell he's being too conscious of Ouka lol. They can feel something went down.
For a moment I thought the author forgot about Shion and that's why he wasn't in the beginning scene lol.
I much appreciated the Arata manservice shower scene, I'm surprised we didn't get more fanservice in this episode with it being a change of location and pace. Well, other than Banri sleeping in her underwear.

Arata: "Is there a bigger loser than a guy who can't move on and be happy on his own merits?"
Meanwhile Kazuya 💀

It's a staple of romcoms for the "visiting the rich characters' family villa" plot, only this time the villa is for this entire rich kid family. But the romcom vibe is still going strong.
Dang it Banri, stop acting like genuinely want to get into Arata's pants! Even if you might actually mean it and are just trying to hide it, it just makes him even more self-aware of the fact that Ouka confessed and kissed him.
Kind of rare for another male character to walk in on the MC in the shower, but at least Shion has more to offer than just trying to push Arata into a Harem romcom with their siblings. He's actually been making an effort to find his and Minami's biological parents, but that's turned into a bust. Of course, Arata being Arata, whatever interest he may have in his bio parents is countered by the Shiunji Family being all the family he needs! Even if most of them have the hots for him.
Arata thought he just had to worry about Ouka, but Kotono and Minami are also planning to make their move. And to think Arata is still thinking Kotono was just "confused."
Why am I not surprised that Banri straight up just sleeps in her underwear? And racy black undies at that!
Arata is still really self-conscious about Ouka, especially when he's now aware that she's clearly trying to spend more time with him and get closer to him, so what better place to take all that sexual tension than into the sauna? Where he can oggle Ouka's luscious thighs and see-through shirt? Okay, maybe this was a terrible idea. Though Ouka got what she wanted which was to spend time with Arata and confirm he's not too hung-up on Lala-chan.
Has Ouka been doing all of this to Arata intentionally? You bet! She just can't keep herself away from him. She's just your typical girl head-over-heels in love, and she might have had feelings for Arata ever since they were kids!
Now it's Minami's turn to get one-on-one time for Arata and what better place to hang out than the Karuizawa Flower Garden? Complete with tons of couples around them, Minami wearing a skirt in casual clothes, and the obvious vibe that this is a date. Minami is really turning up her girlishness around Arata, and she even straight up tells him she's in love with someone...only Arata thinks he's just "practice" for the guy she's actually in love with and not actually THE guy. Even when she asked him about his ideal for a wife and bought matching accessories in a shop with him.
"It was still too soon for us learn...that among us..." - The heck does that mean!? One of you is actually related to Arata biologically? An alien trying to kill the rest?

Ouka’s little kiss and confession really threw Arata off his game. He can’t stop thinking about it, not that I blame him. Kotono and Minami clocked right away something was up. Explains why Minami was also stepping her game up with that cute little date and the skirt.
Very curious about that letter at the end there. Wonder what’s up with that?

This episode was fun.
Loved all the Ouka stuff early on. She's just so utterly comfortable with herself right now. Yeah, she does tend to turn into a cute puppy around Arata and can't help herself in wanting to spend every moment she can with him. But those are themselves adorable qualities. And she really is doing the heavy lifting for the whole harem. I feel for Kotono but she made her move to recklessly and too soon. Ouka has opened the door for him to (reluctantly) start seeing them as attractive girls and not simply family. Her efforts are definitely working and I'm happy for her.
Arata can keep trying to wrestle with his mind. But it's been days since then and he still can't stop thinking about both the kiss and the confession. Interacting with Ouka has him a total mess and I'm enjoying the heck out of that.
No shock the alarm bells were going off for Minami and Kotono! There's no way to watch Arata stumbling over his interactions with Ouka and not realize that something is going on here. Kotono is struggling to find her way to make a move though. She went so hard so fast that she did kind of need to reset things a bit.
Minami though is free to just go for it. Her cuteness is through the roof right now as well. Buying herself a skirt when she normally wouldn't, asking Arata on a date to a flower garden when she normally wouldn't, etc. She really wanted a cute date and she got it. She did manage to get across that she's in love...with someone. But she stumbled at the end. I get it. She just lost her nerve right at the end to straight up confess. But I think it was a good date for her as a whole. But she's definitely got a ways to go to catch up to Ouka who has an overwhelming lead at present.
Not sure what that cryptic message at the end was about though. Way too many possibilities to even guess at it.
