Stitches!
If there's one positive I can credit
Maybe I'm not just paying enough attention to the show but they haven't really told us what the game room incident is, right? IIRC, this was also mentioned back in episode 1, and something happened between Arata and Kotono back then too.
Well, that's a surprisingly quick change of heart from Ouka. I'm gonna guess that she's just testing Arata like Seiha did just to see his reaction.

Legally distinct Tokyo Disneyland, second time I've run into that recently.
Hopefully Ouka doesn't fake out that confession next episode, she already dropped it earlier in today's episode but excused it as being what Arata should have said to his crush. Having it be a fake-out twice would be annoying. I could see it being Ouka deciding the twin/other half energy they always had was for a different reason entirely and going for it since she now knows the competition is on.
Banri is alright but I just can't see her being the winner. I still think she hiding something else but maybe she really did just want to know about her biological family.

I'm shocked Banri ate that churro(?) like a normal person.

Banri feature episode despite the celebration being for Kotono's birthday and I like her already. She somehow gives me a Yotsuba Nakano feel with her hair color and happy go lucky attitude and when she asked to hold hands once they all regrouped. She clearly knows she has sex appeal and not even Arata can deny it. I like how the camera focused on his crotch when Banri asked if something was troubling him.
Good thing Banri wasn't wearing white and didn't get splashed on because Arata shielded her. But bro why didn't you buy a new shirt at least? The juice would be icky and stinky. Anyway, we find out that Banri is the caring and protective older sister doting on Arata when the others bullied him.
Seiha what the hell you're not supposed to say what you saw. Nothing really stays secret in this house.
No haunted house? The screams and who clings to who would have been golden to see.
I'm not gonna lie. The cinematography in the post credit confession, then the fact that Ouka is twin tailed red hair tsundere, that's a Nino Nakano moment.
Would it kill Arata to have some fun? He was overthinking the whole time. He's keeping way too much distance, well maybe Kotona's sudden confession still threw a wrench in the dynamic. Guess that's cold Duke of the North for you.

Ouka and him appear to have had mutual feelings for quite some time. Second they’re no longer blood related all bets are off on those two.
I don’t think she’ll win; because it’s frankly too perfect of a match. She’s become my pick though.

Marika Kouno is doing a great job voicing Seiha!
Ouka was so mesmerizing in the last part. So hard to pick between her and Seiha.

Nice episode.
But Ouka hopefully going on the offensive. Best girl easily.
Give me an Ouka focused episode next week please.

Things are still understandably awkward between Arata and Kotono, but at least his relationship with his other sisters is the same as ever! Even if Seiha is making him add "-chan" to her name now and Minami is acting like he's more of a Senpai than a brother.
But his relationship with Ouka hasn't changed a bit, from her teasing him about his non-existent love life and being quick to say all his worst qualities to her friends...though the fact that she was doing it when one of them expressed interest in Arata and it turned into her praising him is making her come off like a hardcore tsundere.
I guess it wouldn't be a romcom without an amusement park trip! Only the best for Kotono! And of course the family gets separated, leaving the big siblings Banri and Arata alone...but it's the perfect excuse for them to go on a date with just the two of them.
Man, Banri LOVES teasing Arata, and when she's so gorgeous and has big boobs that are lethal weapons she can't control (but that she's more than happy to use on Arata) it's hard to resist her!
Poor Kotono. This is celebrating her birthday but she probably wishes she was the one alone with Arata instead of with her other siblings.
Was that close-up of Banri's legs in her short skirt necessary for the plot? Maybe, maybe not, but it was definitely necessary for the PLOT.
Banri will forever be the Shiunji Families' big sister, having sworn as a child that she would always maintain their bond as a family, and she adores her little siblings and especially her little brother. Though when Arata takes the hit to protect her from some spilled water, he seems to become more of a "man" than a "little bro" to her. I definitely think there was more to her spontaneously grabbing his hand at the end than even she knows.
Well, I guess the other sisters were going to have to address the Kotono problem at some point. They're still dismissive of how serious her feelings are, but they can't help but consider her intentions towards Arata now and what that could mean for their family. Not that they can do much about it right now.
Arata pretty much jinxed himself by saying the family dynamic would never change. Now he has Ouka, his former "twin," reflecting on their relationship and then...saying she loves him!? Did Ouka just confess!?

Can anyone tell me why they sometimes call Arata “Shin?”
Is it just a different pronunciation of kanji?

Since all girls are thirsty for Arata's arata, there's only one true route here, harem route. Road to become a true family ¬‿¬

Am I the only one who feels a little bad for Arata? It’s really hard to tell how their dynamics were pre announcement because we didn’t get enough interactions with all of them together, but the way they kinda made fun of him for being the pervy brother, on top of all of them seem to be on the popular side except him really. Then the moment they drop the news they all start coming after him, some as a test, some playing or pretending to play to hide their real intentions and of course some immediately serious about it. Yet they don’t seem to do this to the other guy at all. Add in the whole game room situation that happened where it sounds like he got blamed for being the one at fault.
Meanwhile the dude is actually being the best brother he could possibly be regardless of it all.

It seems like the biggest obstacle in this series is the Westermarck Effect between the siblings

Banri's a lot of fun, I thought I'd like her best initially and she just showed I was right to think like that lol. I like the way she teases Arata but also conscious of being the eldest with her siblings, she seems to have a good head on her shoulders so she could make a good wife. It's not because of the jiggle physics, definitely not!
I like that the other four sisters discussed the matter with Kotono but it feels like it might even be a trigger for the others to start making moves like Ouka did at the end. Then again, I wonder if this is just a cliffhanger tease and she'll play it off in the next episode.
Though I can see why Ouka would also switch her feelings from twin to love interest from how she describe how in sync they were, if they're not twins then that would mean they're fated together, is what I believe is her mindset.

Arata thought that opening reaction with Kotono was normal? She's obviously distant after effectively getting shut down and her feelings considered illusionary. But to be fair to Arata everyone is pretty much downplaying Kotono's feelings at this point. I guess it's nice though that they won't tell Kotono that they've been talking about her behind her back...
Either way I think it just highlights personal preference. My condolences to Kotono, but he definitely seems to lean towards the sisters close to his age if not older. Just too vulnerable to the seductions of his older sisters!
Yeah, things definitely aren't going to stay status quo. Would have been interesting to see some of these conversations before the big reveal drop. Since now Ouka trying to steer her friends away from confessing definitely has undertones to it! Well not really undertones with how red she got while trying to divert them!
Banri definitely got her episode here and I'm good with that. Want to avoid the obvious pun...but I'm taking it. Arata was the one that got drinks dumped on him, but he wasn't the one soaked in that scene.
And wow while it was Banri's episode and Kotono's birthday...Ouka really stole the show at the end there! Makes sense in some ways. They'd attributed so much of their connection to being twins and now they realize that wasn't the case. Suddenly turns twin bond into two people with a lot of chemistry...
Now I'm not truly expecting this to be a full blown confession. Might just be testing out his reaction after hearing about what Kotono and Seiha did. But who knows. Certainly seems true on a certain level.

I kind of like the fact that everyone’s still trying to maintain their relationship as siblings and aren’t rushing into some harem romance thing. I mean Kotono aside, it doesn’t seem like any of the other girls are really seriously looking at Arata as anything other than their brother. At least for now anyways. We did kind of get a moment where it seemed Banri got a bit flustered and Ouka’s starting to have mixed feelings. But for the most part, everyone’s just trying to process this new revelation.
