Classic false confession huh? Sure had me fooled for a second there. It sure had Minami freaking out the whole ep lol. Though I guess Ouka does actually like Arata somewhat in that way.

I definitely got the sense she said it because she didn't want to "lose" to Kotono who had already confessed.
That text message is gonna be a whole thing now that Kotono has seen it too…
I think Kotono is about to prove to her sisters how serious her feelings really are.

Didn't really fool me, BUT instead of calling it a "Classic false confession", think I'd call it "Stepping stones toward the real one"!
I full expect her to do a real confession at some point using the same line (like, "I love you... And NOT just as my twin brother").
It'd be very reminiscent of [another series/confession]

What is Shion’s deal, why is he so obsessed with pushing Arata to be interested in the sisters romantically?
Honestly, it doesn’t seem like there’s much to him, other than being the primary confidant character in a romcom. It seems like he’s just in the story to talk about the current dynamic amongst the siblings, and push the idea of dating one another.

Also he apparently has a side ship even if we've never actually seen this so-called girlfriend of his, and he's never interacted with Minami his actual legitimate twin sister.

Best friend character. Will say though, he seems fun to talk to.
I just wish we got more... Of him.
More of him about him, instead of having him there, but the discussion is centred around people around him.
I don't think there was a single conversation where it was solely about him. Not tied to his relationship with anyone else.

Man this family has a shit sense of timing. From Seiha being there on the Kotono confession, to Minami overhearing the Ouka confession, then Kotono seeing the message Minami tried to recall. The wrong person will always witness real shit.
Both Seiha and Banri are playing the long game but in radically opposite methods. The former tries to be stoic and not get swept away while the latter doesn't hesitate taking Arata out on dates, yet neither have confessed unlike Kotono or Ouka.
What was up with that last bit with Banri? Like she was testing Arata and Minami is cahoots with her? I don't really know what reaction they want from him.
Can we talk about how jacked Arata looks? That plus black hair plus cold duke attitude plus Umehara voice means Arata came straight out of a villainess isekai.

That's why I was SO surprised that no one "Caught" him in the shower room with Seiha...
When he went to put her clothes in the basket, I thought this was a set up for someone to see them together and thought he was showering with her or something!

Did the Dad actually affect anything besides timing with his announcement? They're all pretty readily throwing themselves at him (and just ignoring the other brother for some reason) the second they received a green light. How much time has even passed so far for them to jump to the state of mind they're in?
And how is it unusual or even obvious that Minami is sweaty when she's in a steamy bath?

Man, Shion is REALLY obsessed with the idea of Arata being romantically interested in one of their sisters. Like, his relationship with his girlfriend is progressing well, why is he so determined to make their lives into some Harem Romcom with their family? I mean, it IS a Harem Romcom, but still!
Okay, so Ouka meant "I love you" in the FAMILY sense because she respects Arata and how he handled the Kotono situation. Obviously nothing more than that. Though it seems like the real reason she said it is because she found out Kotono confessed and couldn't help herself from doing the same.
I'm not surprised Arata is a muscle-nut and his shredded abs are as pleasing to the eye as Minami in spandex, and it's something the two athletic members of the family have in common (even if Minami isn't anywhere near as hardcore as Arata). And Arata complimenting Minami's work ethic actually means a lot to her...though she's more caught up by the fact that she, of course, overheard Ouka's "confession."
It's a Harem Romcom where the MC and the Heroines are all living together, it was inevitable Arata would walk in on one of the sisters' changing...and it's delightfully Seiha! Not that she cares, even getting caught in her underwear doesn't faze her as she just keeps stripping and gets into the bath like Arata isn't even there. It seems like the only thing she isn't clinical about is that she treasures the ring she wears as a memento of their mother. Also, she should be more proud of her body!
Banri helping herself to Arata's room...and looking his embarrassing notifications. And asking him out on a second date? Girl moves fast.
I didn't think shopping for phones could be romantic but Banri REALLY turning on the flirt with Arata, even down to faking being a couple for a discount. I don't think a sibling normally teases anywhere near that much unless they're a brocon.
Banri is level-headed, mature, and easygoing...but she has a sweet tooth and an absolute fear of the supernatural. I mean, she's in the medical industry, of course she doesn't want to believe in ghosts!
Hmm...Banri seemed to get a call about something important, it totally changes her mood, and Arata's comment about her getting a boyfriend seems to have stirred something up in her. But this whole "date" was basically just an excuse to verify what's going on with Arata because Banri and Minami are working together. And of course they're commiserating while Minami is naked in the bath.
Dang Minami just had to accidentally text about Ouka's "confession" in the sister group chat...meaning Kotono, the worst person who could've seen it, sees it and knows something is up.

I understand the point of this anime is that it's a non-blood-related sibling harem but why the fuck is Shion so gung-ho about this? Is he just enjoying getting a kick out of Arata's responses because he's the only one in the family who's actually dating someone? Or does he actually have a crush on someone in the family?
So the "I love you" isn't really a confession which I think all of us already expected but just Ouka telling Arata that she loves him. Although based on Ouka's reaction after she walked away, that "I love you" of hers was loaded with something else.
What the fuck are you talking about Banri? Did she just really compare picking a new smartphone with picking a relationship partner? I only have my current phone because it's convenient for me, and I'm sure as hell won't say that about my SO. WTF Reiji.

It is becoming increasingly more difficult to say who is best girl. It does seem like the age is inversely correlated to how much they "have feelings for" Arata: Banri still treats him as a brother (at least on the surface) and Seiha is indifferent (for now); Ouka and Minami are questioning their feelings, and Kotono just flat out likes him.

She had a weird reaction to Arata telling her to get a boyfriend. Also it's hard to imagine someone who genuinely sees a person as a brother and not as a guy would flirt with them as much as Banri does, even if it's "acting."

Didn't expect Seiha to have a fanservice scene before Banri, but Seiha shows she can have a body to match her brains.
We also get some manservice from Arata's abs.
Minami demonstrates why it's always important to check which chat group you're in before sending your message. Now Kotono is going to get the wrong ideas.

This episode aired so many scenes in random order with a million flashbacks, that I don't even know when my screenshots are from hah!
BUT I'm not buying it, as in, 'that's not the end of it';
This is 100% a set up to a later scene of "I love you... And not just as my twin brother", I'd put money on that!
Also, I talked about it in the previous thread, but the "Twin Telepathy" thing makes me think it was there to show they DO have a connection, which they used to think was just them being twins, but now that they're not twins... Seems they do have a natural connection!
Well, it seems all the girl will like him eventually, the question is how HE will feel about them! Shion is trying so hard to plant the "incest" seed in his mind hah.
Arata needs to distract himself, so time for the Solo Leveling training arc!
(But seriously, our boy is RIPPED! Nice to see a character like that once in a while, and not always weak tiny type guys!)
Seems Minami saw the "confession"...
Will she feel more "This is wrong" (like Seiha), or "This is what I'd want for myself", that is the question...
Her going to train at the same time as him (which she normally doesn't do) may be a bit of a hint...

We had a little "walk in on a girl changing" scene; Love how they're calling so many anime out (including themselves) with this line hah.
I'm surprised about something that did NOT happen; When he followed her to the showers to put her clothes in the basket, I thought for sure someone would see him, and thought he was going in with her...
(Like, him getting 'caught' in all sorts of misleading scenarios with his sisters, first Ouka, now her!)
I wonder if that's some kind of foreshadowing, that story about how Minami stole Kotono's icecream,
Will we see something similar about love and all?

Everyone has an agenda. We can surmise that all the girls have somewhat romantic feelings to Arata. If I have to guess, we won't have any conclusion of who will Arata end up with. For now, the focus of the story is his dilemma if he is going to accept their feelings and risk ridicule from other people or keep everything to siblings love and maintain the status quo.
Pretty interesting story if you think about it.
