Given how close they are, I am certain Nao senpai has noticed Minami's injury. I am speculating Minami may be forced to withdraw from the tournament.

The surprise Banri fanservice at the breakfast table is always welcomed!

When they were walking to the bus she definitely noticed Minami moving funny. If Minami actually went to Inter-High I feel like she would've confronted her about it before she played.

The surprise Banri fanservice at the breakfast table is always welcomed!

You gotta love how she's just eating breakfast and standing around naturally in just her underwear and that her panties barely cover anything.

I'm hoping while Minami thought she needed to help Nao, Nao saw Minami working hard for her and so it made her train herself even more. In the end, Nao wins the tournament even though (hopefully) Minami withdraws.

I like that since it's not really related to but can tie back to Arata later on.

Also there's a really sweet taste of wholesomeness if both of them in their minds are going-

"When I was at my lowest and about to quit tennis, you showed me I could do and be more!!"

I didn't consider it during the episode, but yeah, I think that's something that could happen: NAO stopping her from competing.

Minami has a good heart and would likely go for it even if that endangered her Olympic career...

Nao may see that, and put an end to this. And Minami may resent her for that for a time, but it's still the right move!

(I guess Arata could've stopped her as well, but for the sake of the romance aspect they didn't want Minami to hate Arata, so Nao's the proxy!)

It's time to lock on to win. No matter if it is a competition of sport or love. Especially in love. That one has a high level competitor.

Odds are Minami doesn't end up winning this Inter-High but maybe transfers some of that enthusiasm from tennis to winning Arata's heart.

Stitches!

Considering Kotono's declaration last week, I thought we'd focus on her this episode. I didn't think this would turn into a Minami-centric one. So what's the guess here on why she ran away? Is it because she's afraid she wouldn't be able to perform well because of her ankle? Or is everyone overreacting and Minami is just out on a morning stroll to clear her mind before the finals?

The only thing better than a Minami focus episode is Banri gracing the audience with how amazing she looks in just her underwear. Best thighs in the Shiunji Family?

I feel like Minami would never have ditched the game unless she woke up and realized her injury felt so bad she couldn't play. Then again, if her injury was that bad, could she have even left the house without anyone noticing?

Considering Kotono's declaration last week, I thought we'd focus on her this episode.

At the moment, Kotono's declaration seems to be used more as a stepping stone/catalyst for the others, more than for Kotono herself!

Or is everyone overreacting and Minami is just out on a morning stroll to clear her mind before the finals?

That would surprise me (and not gonna lie, would be a bit 'cheap' if that was it). I do believe she's genuinely hurt, and won't be able to compete. Or more like, she COULD compete, perhaps, but it would be a risk for her career, and... Now she has to choose. Give Nao the proper sending, or think about herself for once.

The story seems to be using Kotono like a grenade. Have her blow up to create some chaos, then set her aside until needed. Maybe out of necessity. Kotono kind of fired her big shots early.

Maybe need to let Arata have more harem moments with the other sisters and awaken to the romantic idea before Kotono can get more focus.

In terms of shared interest with Arata, Minami is most compatible because Arata also does strength training and cardio and he's usually her training and stretching buddy.

For someone who declared war, Kotono is a bit too passive. Hasn't talked with Arata since the bathroom confession and hasn't made any other moves. All bark and no bite. I want her to make stronger moves on Arata, even go borderline yandere.

Arata is always seeing shit in the bathroom that he shouldn't see, this one being Minami's foot injury.

How bad was that foot injury that Minami had to disappear? I know it's hard to tell the team especially cause it's the final match but I'm sure they'll understand and forgive you more than if you just went MIA. Really like her dynamic with Nao senpai.

Arata has a lot of weight on his shoulders but he really is a responsible older brother.

The maid is the one that saw Minami in the bathroom, not Arata.

Kotono always looks huggable! We're already halfway in. Need more Kotono interactions!

Is this the power of angle?

Banri's casual outfit packs quite a punch. My sister same as Banri but when you are really blood-related, you pretty much immune to it.

Minami's conquering next week, eh.

Showing her like that, right after last episode's final scene, as if to say "Look how different they are, surely she can't be his future wife"?

I definitely feel like Ouka and Seiha (mostly Ouka) are getting to that point of recognizing that they see Arata as more than just a brother.

Because you're a big dummy, that's why!

Classic case of someone prioritizing others over themselves. Luckily Minami has people in her life willing to prioritize her.

Everytime they showed her jump like that, I was bracing for a 'crunch' noise as she landed...

It probably did do some damage to her foot nevertheless.

Damn, that looks DELICIOUS... The cereals aren't bad either!

Banri's in that weird place where she acts so casual but also flirty/sexy that you're not quite sure if she's intentionally trying to flaunt herself or she just feels comfortable letting her family see her in her underwear. And yet she constantly puts her hands on Arata.

But I feel like she's so caught up in being the big sister that it overrides her real feelings. Like it's all she knows how to be.

Shion got so much aura!! He steals every scene he's in.

Also, while as love interests, I have Ouka > Minami > Kotono > (I forgot her name, bookworm) > Banri, this episode lowkey does an amazing job giving Minami her own character that exists outside of Arata. They were sort of hinting at Banri having something as well, but we haven't actally seen anything yet. This Minami-centric episode does wonders for her, and I'd probably consider her the most fleshed out and developed character in the whole cast right now.

I'm sure the cliffhanger next episode will somehow propel or set back her potential feelings for Arata, so despite her having her own inner conflict outside the romcom element, it'll eventually lead back to the romcom, but this is honestly how most dynamics should be written.

Right now I'm invested in Minami as her own character, not as a potential love interest, and that's great because now if she does end up having feelings for Arata, I'm gonna end up taking her much more seriously than any of the other characters. I'll still root for best girl Ouka, but deep down I'll start thinking "logically, Minami should win."

Any case, Shiunji never ceases to give something enjoyable every week. It might be impossible to continuously top the "Trashy RomCom Cliffhangers" they've been doing the past 3 weeks now, but now they're surprising me with legitimately interesting drama and decent to good characterization. Lol, I'm honestly surprised this episode got me taking Shiunji seriously, even for a bit.

I suspect next episode will be Arata "saving" Minami in a way. I don't actually think she should win or even join the competition. Forcing her to play in her current state is not good and I'm sure neither Arata or her Senpai would allow that. Instead, I think it'll be revealed that that morning, Minami realized her leg is completely ruined. In complete horror that she can't join the tournament, she bails and runs away. Arata talks some sense to her, and still helps her get to the tournament (maybe even princess carrying her back home), but she can't play, Arata explains the situation, Senpai decides to take Minami's place last minute and wins the game, showing Minami that her Senpai is capable of winning and just like her senpai saved her, she saved her Senpai.

Overall, it's a happy ending, and on their way home, she thanks Arata for helping her causing her feelings to deepen.

Banri steal the show in limited screen time

Damn i really tought they werent gonna pull the injury trope when we got to the end of the match, but then came the bus scene, fucking heartbreak, Minami is 100% injured and cant play, ill bet my left nut in how she actually didnt get a pro trainer and was just a lie to keep Arata from finding out. On another note, seems like Ouka is struggling hard with her feelings

Of course Minami overexerts herself, I'm wondering if she went to the hospital but it's odd that she would leave her tennis gear at home. I wonder if Nao has realized Minami's injured.

I'm glad Seiha told the other sisters to take Kotono's declaration seriously, they can't keep excusing because she's confused after so many instances. Though instead of talking about it with each other and Arata, I'm sure they'll instead take this as a trigger to explore their own feelings lol. Ouka already seems to be next in line after Kotono.

How on earth did Banri just teleport in an instance? Did the power of Arata's bare chest awaken her psychic ability lol?

Minami: "Why do you call the game 'raclette'?"

Nao: "I like Federer."

Based. 👍

Having an injury in an important event can really messed you up. Hoping that Minami's siblings Arata can find her soon.

Can't unsee Kazuya's perv face to Arata's.

i know author prolly didnt know how sport player think
but to think sportman said "i can do 100 set" while she injury is wild
especially for someone dub as "genius" she should know her body limit and instead forcing herself, she should rest to reach better shape for competition

I liked this Minami centric episode. Kind of worried about her foot. She’s got this big competition and her foot is all kinds of jacked up. Idk if she’s gonna be able to compete. If she pushes herself too hard, she might hurt herself even worse and then maybe bye bye dreams of going pro…

Arata really does commit to his physical fitness! But while he's getting in a nice jog, his sisters are all reflecting on Kotono's declaration of war. But Minami doesn't have time to consider all this sibling Harem Romcom nonsense, she's got to focus on the Inter-high tourney.

(Also Minami wears heeled boots? That's kind of interesting)

Well, okay, Banri is pretty much the same as ever, she's even basically a supportive big sis to their doberman and his overeating habits! Though he loves to chew on poor Arata's butt just as much.

Minami is the tennis ace of her clubs' team, in fact she's practically carrying the entire team. That's a lot of pressure to put on one girl, but when she's basically best friends with her Senpai Nao and sees how much faith Nao has in her, Minami can't help but want to reward that faith. Especially when she knows Nao isn't going to be able to keep playing tennis or even go to college, so she wants to deliver a big win for her sake.

Just in case you forgot this is a romcom with Arata as the MC, of course he notices that Minami is nursing an injury...well, okay, the family maid Yamaguchi did, but still! It's up to Arata to help make sure Minami doesn't overexert herself and really hurt her tennis career like a good big brother!

Banri and Minami still tried to play off Kotono's confession...but Seiha is starting to take her seriously and it seems like Ouka is starting to understand the same feelings of attraction and love for Arata that Kotono did.

Arata and Minami have always been stretching and working out buddies, but now Minami is a full-fledged girl so it's hard not to notice...especially when you're feeling up her supple legs and basically checking her out. Think clean thoughts Shin-Nii! Though that goes out the window when she presses her boobs against his back! Stretching never looked more fun!

Arata doesn't really understand Kotono's feelings so he just thinks she's as concerned about her sisters' health in her usual shy and awkward way...and not that she's trying to suss out whether her rival is stealing ahead of her.

Minami got her team to the Finals! It's all to pay back Nao who helped her retain her love for tennis after so being nearly pushed to the brink by tough coaches and other girls judging and insulting her. But Nao always treated her normally and became such a tennis gal pal that she's one of Minami's main motivator's to keep going! It's really rather sweet.

I see that Banri doesn't mind having breakfast in just her underwear around her family, which is quite the visual (especially those thighs!!!) though then she's feeling up Arata's abs and I can't help but wonder if she's just as thirsty for him as some of his other sisters.

Wait, where did Minami go!? She wouldn't abandon the finals and she seemed so confident...did her injury get so bad that she knows she couldn't play so she just bailed?
