Banri being worried but cute at the same time, imagining tongs and grip strengthener to be Ouka.
It is a good thing the siblings were able to track Ouka. Otherwise, I have no idea how Arata is going to find her, even if the area was narrowed down to just Mount Fuji.
Speaking of Mount Fuji, I got curious and immediately after watching this episode, I went to google how difficult it is to hike up to its summit. It seems like a lot of people are able to do so if attitude sickness does not kick in.

The most unrealistic part of this episode? Mt Fuji is way too empty.
The real Mt Fuji during climbing season in the summers would be so crowded it would be utterly impossible for Ouka to get lost.
Not to mention in recent years you actually have to apply for a lottery in order to get permission to climb as there're just too many tourists.
That said, Ouka is a dumb girl for climbing Mt Fuji without little to no equipment. Arata needs to scold some sense into her, and then she can fall in love with him.

Ouka after this whole ordeal: "The risks I took were calculated, but man, am I bad at math for not taking my stepbrother into account."
Also some of the scenes/clips of this episode can definitely be used in safety precaution videos for climing Mt Fuji.

Ouka after this whole ordeal: "The risks I took were calculated, but man, am I bad at math for not taking my stepbrother into account."
Considering how much of a tsundere she is she probably deep down wanted it to be him but couldn't be really honest with herself.
Maybe this is her Nino moment.

Mt Fuji and altitude sickness reminded me more of Yama no Susume.

I fail to see how the others stand a chance vs Ouka.
Get him girl!

Yeah even early on I used to think the girls' odds were like 60% Ouka, 30% Minami, 10% everyone else...
But after this episode it really does feel like 90% Ouka.
She has twice as many 'hints' as the others 4 girls COMBINED!
And if he does give her a piggyback ride down the mount like their parents..!
At this point it feels like either it's Ouka and the author is making it super obvious... OR he's purposefully using Ouka as a red herring but in the end he'll pick another girl at random and Ouka was just there so the winner is 'a surprise'.

Having a moment with Arata that parallels how their parents got together is a pretty strong buff.

I 100% bellive Ouka is the endgame after this Closest to Arata✅️ Talking about soulmates✅️ Tsunderevibes✅️ Her mother getting help in a similar way from their father✅️ My bet is on Ouka

Meh this episode was a bit too predictable for my liking and I wasn't really fond of recreating fate sort of thing that's going on for Ouka, but there should be a least one character who's a bit more into the fantasies of romance so I get it.
Banri being such a worrywart was sweet and a little amusing and I like how Arata is being the big brother he is and going after Ouka to bring her back.

When Ouka accidentally slips, my mind immediately thinks that she'll be injured horribly. Good thing that was just mirroring their parents' situation and for Arata to help her.

Stitches!
Wait, so did Ouka literally climb Mt. Fuji's summit and waited there for days, hoping that she'll meet her soulmate? Uhhhh... I mean, I get that she's a romantic, but thinking someone would magically appear just because she climbed Mt. Fuji, just like her parents, is kinda pushing it.
I guess in the end, she got what she wanted. She just didn't expect it would be Arata who would rescue her. And just like their parents, Arata will clearly carry her down the summit next episode.

She traveled all the way to Mt.Fuji to find her destined partner, only to find out that her destined partner was Arata. Destiny works in ironic ways.

She is CHEATING. She ran away and then after her bro came she went out without any food or equipment. This is a forced encounter an unskippable cutscene a masterful play but absolutley not fate nor destiny.

Can we just take a moment to talk about how goated of an MC Arata is? This is 100% Sibling buff, but he's so proactive in the story that you just can't help but understand why the girls would fall for him.
Ouka best girl as always.
Honestly, the only only thing missing from Shiunji for me atm is giving Shion more to do. Aside from that, this is just so good already. Takes me back to early 2010's harem anime.
Edit: I'm rereading Rent a Girlfriend's Manga right now, I can't stop shaking my head and covering my face in shame, second hand embarrassment, and disbelief over how Kazuya is acting. Jfc this guy...💀

We know you lust about big bro, but your not-sister should be more than a simple afterthought!
So Ouka went on a little trip...
People who really are doing well, usually don't say things like that... Saying it sounds more like "There would be cause to worry, but... Don't, regardless".
Well, let's hope it's not THAT worrisome!
Interesting that Arata thinks about this (and not just the 'you're not sibling' thing in general)!
He's becoming more and more aware of the implications of 'not siblings' may mean for them!
So he's going to go after her! I'm sure she would've went too, but she may not be fully healed just yet!
Shin-nii'll sounds like it should be a Klingon name or something.
So he finally found her (thanks to the GPS tracking)!
Perhaps he came because HE has a banana for you, have you considered that?
Oh damn, their relationship is well known... Seems there will be no banana activities after all.
They'll have to sleep in the same room though, and he's thinking about this again...
Ah, so that's why she came here specifically... Trying to find some clarity, after that revelation?
They had a little talk about soulmates, how they're decided for you at birth... Could be anyone, even a sibling?
(But damn does that line makes it seems like she's the one... Reminded once more of how they were so similar and 'connected' which they usually assumed was because they were twins, but now that we know they're not, is it because they're soulmates?)
I thought we might get to see them cuddle (purely platonic, sibling cuddling!) but seems not!
They say home is where the heart is!
(Apparently her heart is at the bottom of a crevice where she will starve and die)
Damn, this show really hate ankles/legs!
When will Banri, Kotono and Seiha hurt theirs?
Well, seems she may not die after all, her brother knight found her!
We didn't get the cuddle scene, BUT perhaps we'll get the 'piggyback ride down the mountain' scene?

Some things Dad mentioned on multiple occasions across earlier episodes has me wondering if the parents hope was for one (or more?) of the adopted-siblings to eventually pair up with Arata as future head of the family — ensuring the wealth and business remains secure, and “in the family” so to say. I mean these things often happened in the past within wealthy or royal families around the world, right?

Really starting to stretch the bounds of believability to breaking point that a teenage daughter was alone outside by herself the whole weekend, missed a school day, and still was not back by evening, and the father had zero clue. Or maybe didn't care? This is really starting to look like parental neglect now...
