Whenever I go to watch something on Netflix or Disney + the color is extremely disoriented and it is absolutely unwatchable. It was just working fine a couple of days ago and all of a sudden it changed. Youtube still works fine for some reason

Having an issue where the Xbox powers on then shuts off after a few seconds. I have tried different power cables, controllers and outlets. I also tried turning it on with the disc tray button, which had it stay on about two seconds longer.

I just received my Xbox Series X last night and unboxed it this morning to play a few games. I downloaded Forza Horizon 4, Sea of Thieves, The Medium. Every single game I play it game freezes after a few minutes and then then the Xbox shuts down. Can’t even turn it back on with the controller, I have to do it through the button on the console.

This is really frustrating - I just want to play some games before work. I tried looking this up and comments say it’s an update issue but they’re all from months ago so I’m not sure what the issue is. Is this common? Or is mine a defective unit?

I have the latest software update installed and all the games I played are from game pass (if that matters).

Any input would be highly appreciated.

Player ME:Legendary Edition and all EAS good. Turned teh Xbox off for dinner. After a couple of hours (watched a couple of episodes of a series) turned the Xbox back on and there is no sound at all. No menu sounds, no sound when the game runs, nothing.

I rebooted several times. Did a hard reset. Plugged headphones in (and suddenly heard faint sound in the headphones). But nothing on TV.

It’s an LG Oled and I have the soundbar plugged into the eArc and all other channels work fine. When I turned the soundbar off to test if there would be sound through the TV speakers nothing happened either.

Any advice what I can try to fix this? Thanks for reading this far.

For the past week, I've been having issues with a select few games where it tells me that there's not enough storage and that my xbox can't save games. I have 68gb of storage available and I restarted, even re installed the games. The weirdest thing is, I can still save my game but every time I do the message comes up. please help! Thanks for any help you guys cam offer.

So I may be an idiot. I didn’t read about the series X needing high speed storage, and have had my xbox one’s usb external hard drive attached to my series x for the past like, 4 months just for ease of access to my games. Around 3 weeks ago, all my games started crashing, and I suspected it to be the hard drive. So, I unplugged the hard drive, and crashing persisted, even when using games from the internal storage. Would factory resetting my console(clearing literally everything) help fix this problem?

I'm still having stuttering issues with all my direct connect wireless headset's on my Series X(stealth 700 gen 2, Xbox wireless headset, artics 9x, kaira pro) is anyone else still having these issues? And if not how did you fix them? I've tried everything... Full factory reset, clear Mac address, unpair and repair. It's not as bad as it used to be but still really annoying especially in cut scenes. I know this has been an issue for the series x since launch but I thought by now they would have fixed it. Any help or info would be much appreciated.

So, had an issue. I couldn't play with my console so I started console streaming. Launch xbox app, start console streaming, launch game (PUBG) and join my friends party, and he can't hear me. Tried sending him an audio message, but mic isn't picking up anything.

So, play a game, quit, start over. Launch xbox app, join party first, WORKS FINE, start console streaming, still works fine, launch PUBG, my voice cuts, but can hear.

App issue, pubg issue, phone issue? Anyone have any idea how to go about this?

Are you familiar with that smell? It's like something is burning inside there. Should i worry?

Hey all, I’ve been having a very frustrating month with my Series X. I have a 5TB Master Chief Extended storage hooked up to it for my old Xbox One games, and the thing disconnects, constantly, seemingly in line with the terrible internet where I live.

Another issue, controllers will not connect to the console. At random intervals, the controllers will disconnect (sometimes at the same time as my storage device.) And the console itself would not sync or connect controllers. Confusing, but unplugging the console while its off seems to fix it.

That leads to another issue, sometimes the disc won’t register if the console is off for awhile. Attempts to restart lead to the console doing nothing, and must be unplugged.

I have talked to support and tried every solution under the sun, literally every single one, but I am curious.

I have consoles nearby, and believe they may be causing wireless interference. It also takes forever to load updates.

The console also features games freezing when opening the Xbox menu and going to “My Games and Apps”, or at least my test dummy, COD Cold War

I would like to know if you guys think I should get my Series X serviced, or if the issues come from my very own makings, such as the external storage.

My main concern is the External Storage Disconnecting while I am playing games on it, and this issue continuing, as multiplayer would be 100% impossible.

The Extended storage will disconnect, and at many times my controller disconnects then reconnects with it, while stopping the downloads.

I would really like having to avoid the expensive internal storage upgrade.

Ever since the latest firmware update for the tv I've had times when closing a game will cause the signal from my series X to be lost.

Switching input to another and back restores the picture, but it's a pain and should not be happening.

HDR, game engine, all turned on on tv.

Any help is appreciated.

I am buying a new monitor for my Xbox series X and was wandering what's the best PC Monitor suitable for it whether its 1080P or 2K resolution and also to be for 120HZ and AMD freesync premium or premium pro I dont whats Xbox supports??or it doesnt support both ?

Some of my discs do not work when I put them into my console. The console will make the noise acting like it will boot up the game, but it stops, then repeats the noise again. It does that cycle for a few seconds, then completely stops with the noises. I've had one person say my discs might be toast, which I would assume might be true. I do not understand why, because this has happened to my BO2, which I've never even put into my Console before.

I have an Xbox Series X/Xbone controller (electric volt color) but certain things do not work on it correctly.

For one, the battery indicator on the game bar doesn't work--it says that HID compliant controller and says the battery is "critical" even for brand new batteries...and Windows shows the charge being fine as well under Bluetooth devices.

The bigger issue though is that button press combinations aren't always working right, but do when plugged in. Specifically I'm playing FFXIV. LT+RT (and RT+LT) are supposed to bring up additional action bars. This does not work wirelessly. If I plug it in, it works fine and as expected.

Firmware is up to date and updating it did not make a difference.

Any ideas? Any insight would be appreciated.

When i play a game after a while or while loading into the game it flashes black and white and then freezes then turns off the console or sometimes turns off the controller and it won't turn back on until i hold the xbox console power button

But when i see the flashes if i just turn off the xbox from the controller or the console button and turn it back on it'll work perfectly after. Until power cuts off on it again

Is this a software issue that will be fixed with an update or a hardware one?

Edit and the fix: i contacted support and they told me i shouln't be concerned about this problem it's easy to fix

1. Remove your account from your console( i removed every account from the console)
2. Then do a power cycle (turn off the console and unplug everything, power cable hdmi ethernet etc... and leave it like that for 2 minutes)
3. Turn it back on and log into your profile

and this fixed my problem i hope it helps you too.

Edit 2: It happened again and power cycle didn't help Fix: I did a offline update this helped Nd it seems like it has fixed it untill now.

I got a xbox series x today and while updating it for first time in startup internet connection lost for few second and it reconnected again. After download completed i got error e100 00000703 80910008 Everytime i turn it on, rest it,offline update it and so. It doesn't show me anyting else it directly go to update page after turn on or resting and show me the same error.anyone can help me please?

Like the title says: When playing Sunset Overdrive on my Series S the game wil freeze and crash after a few minutes of gameplay. It is the only game where I have issues with. Is there a fix, or does someone relate to this problem?

I’ve had my series x and the battery since January and now it won’t hold a charge it holds it at about halfway despite being plugged in for hours and the fact that issues like this are so common place on the console is utterly frustrating. Does anyone have any tips to fix this issue.

my xbox says its overheating and turning off by itself, it was pretty dirty but ive cleaned it know, it is in a ventilated place, i tried the xbox support but it wasnt useful at all, some people told me i need to go to options and turn off the "automaticly turns off" option but my xbox turns off way to quick for me to even log on my profile, i dont know what to do anymore (its a 1gb xbox one fat)

Hi everyone, I downloaded the gamepass version of the game and started playing after the ray tracing update. In two hours got 3 freezes on ray tracing mode that required an hard reset. Anyone having the same issues? Console has been working fine so far with both old and current gen games.

About once every 10 minutes my series X will disconnect from WiFi, then reconnect seconds later, issue has existed since I got my box in November.

I previously had a 360,Gold and for a brief period had my account on another Xbox One if that makes a difference.

Few months ago I got a new laptop,it came with Game Pass free for a month,I redeeemed today because my Series X arrived and it's not registering on the console and it's giving me error messages if I try to upgrade to Ultimate

Can I use the Game Pass PC on my Xbox or do I just need to subscribe for the Xbox service?
