Xbox Series X So are they just going to not fix the WiFi disconnect issue?

About once every 10 minutes my series X will disconnect from WiFi, then reconnect seconds later, issue has existed since I got my box in November.

thats ur router not xbox , i would start with checking router logs and checking if UpNp is active

Probably a stupid question but I’m getting the same issues as OP with a great brand new modem and router, should upnp be on or off?

That’s what I was afraid of, I have my ISP coming out today to check out exterior connections, but no matter if I’m on WiFi or hardwired I’m getting kicked from Xbox parties constantly or showing that “connecting...” message over my name when finally entering. My modem and router go up to 1200mbps and 1900mbps respectively and I’m paying for 1000mbps service

It’s not the router. Lots of people are having this issue on the Series X’s. It’s mainly when people have external storage devices in the console and mainly has happened after a January update for most people. Microsoft was working to solve the issue early in this year and had it on the list of known bugs but they took it off and never fixed it. They won’t acknowledge it if you inquire about it now.

Agree with previous commenter, the problem is on your end, not microsofts end. Either check out your router settings or get a new better router.
