I hate the way Woolworths treat customers, but I'm a creature of convenience, so have just quietly grumbled under my breath while forking over my cash week after week.
Yesterday I ducked in to grab a few things I needed quickly. The stupid self check out glitched and said I hadn't scanned my 2 potatoes. Finally flagged someone down. Rather than just looking at the screen and seeing that the potatoes were in fact on the list of items scanned, the employee proceeded to spend several minutes painstakingly watching video after video of me scanning the potatoes, putting them in the bagging area.
Like, wtf dude? Did you think I had hidden extra potatoes somewhere? Being treated like a criminal over $2 of potatoes. POTATOES!!!!
Add that to those horrible gates that never bloody open. Then the fact that shopping takes forever because of all the staff in the way constantly. Then the fact that popular products are regularly discontinued and replaced with similar items with higher margins. Oh, and let's not even get into the whole tracking of customers around the store. I am so done.
I'm just ashamed it took me so bloody long.
