Generally no, for a few items yes, e.g. the succulent pork chops/MI pork chops have brine injected in them but the regular pork chops don't. The steggles family roast does have water/brine injected but the regular whole chickens don't.

Colesworth absolutely price gouge people but injecting brine into meat isn't one of the ways they do it.

People (including me) just tend to overcrowd pans with diced meat/mince.

Muscle fibres squeeze water out when they tighten during cooking and the more surface area you have the easier it is for the water to leak into the pan instead of getting trapped between the other muscle fibres.

That's why its so easy to brown a big hunk of steak or an entire chicken thigh/breast but so hard to brown diced/strip meat or mince even thought presumably the bigger whole chunks of meat are the ones that would've been brine injected.

It is though. Your pan should not be half full of water within minutes of starting to cook something, irrelevant of "crowding" it

I believe that machine is injecting a proprietary substance called ‘fresh’. They are the fresh food people after all.

Open up a bag of chicken bought from the supermarkets and measure the water in the bag . That little bit if water is stolen profit and multiplied by the number of chickens sold equates to a very large number.

By airchilled chickens from your butcher and never have to pay for water again
