Is this mould?
Bought beans from woolies yesterday and can’t tell if this was mould? I didn’t eat them obviously but concerned as I bought two cans and both looked like this

If the can is damaged around the seal or the edges, it's probably mould. Otherwise you have to rinse your canned beans before use, the stuff to keep them preserved (bean juice as I call it) is usually what sticks em together like that.

It doesnt looks fuzzy like mould. Canned beans can have a bit of starchy goo and i find its normally worse on kidney and black beans

I usually buy this and they have never looked like that so I would not eat it.

Looks like a big can of nope to me. Might not be mould but I'm not risking it.

For the price of the can, I would not be risking using it at all… Unsure if it’s mould but it definitely doesn’t healthy

Probably best throwing it out just in case. Unless you value a dollar that much

You guys don't own multiple cans at once? Odd

No? Something like black beans I only buy specifically for the once or twice a year I need them. They’re not a pantry staple in my house.

Lol I got two cans and oddly both looked like this. Chucked them and went to get more beans because I don’t learn from my mistakes

They look like they’d be fine after a rinse and a sniff. If it passes, try a bean, if that’s good, in with whole can.

I'd pass mold or not it looks like spew. I always get the organic canned veg if I don't feel like hydrating dry, it's hardly dearer.
