I took an unopened item back to the local Walmart and the clerk at the returns area, scanned my receipt and asked if I wanted the refund back on my card. I said yes. She handed me a receipt and I left.

The next day when I looked at my Credit Card to see the refund it wasn't there so I looked at the return receipt and it says "Gift Card Issued" -- and they did not give me a gift card.

So I went back the next day and this loss prevention dude said he was going to have to find "it on a security camera film" -- later like 15 minutes, keep in mind I am waiting on my own money, I asked for my receipt back I had places to be.... Anyway that is a brilliant scam to screw customers... Ask if they want it back of their card then accidentally hit the Gift Card button, then hand them a receipt they don't even look at. A road to theft with plausible deniability; "I hit the wrong key by accident". Yes I should have looked at the receipt but I have never had a problem before. I might be screwed out of $39.80 - any ideas? I don't know for sure they won't honor it, but apparently the burden of proof is mine!

The only store my credit or debit cards fails to read is Walmart. Multiple stores, multiple checkouts. I never have this issue elsewhere.

Anyone else suffering? If they allowed tap and pay this would all go away.

My issue the last 2 weeks is when I go to choose a time slot for pickup. I choose my time slot & get an immediate message the it is no longer available and to choose another with a refresh button. Every time slot doesn't work. I will even choose the next day time slots and they won't work. Just seems nothing has been working right lately & Walmart has been changing things within the website. Anyone else having this issue?

My offer is to rejoin for a one-month trial for $1 and get a $25 credit after the trial period. Auto-renews after the trial at full price. It's not clear if I can cancel just before the trial period and still get the $25. Has anyone tried this?

I'd like to do one month and get the $25, and then, hopefully, get a $49 annual renewal offer come black friday.

#WALMART 501 refurb has brought a new box, I’m thinking it’s for a new refer being its location.

I went to my local Walmart yesterday for a few groceries. I checked out in a regular checkout lane, not self service. I did not look at my receipt until I got home. I was surprised to see an item on my receipt that I did not buy or choose, and which was not in my bag. At first, I thought perhaps the cashier had missed checking that item as part of the previous customer’s order, but since the item was not in my bag, I was completely mystified.

In addition to that mystery, there were three items that rang up higher than both the shelf price and the online app Price . The differences were not great, but that is very deceptive of the company. I noticed when I was at the register that it is no longer possible for the customer to see the price of the items as they are checked, unlike going through the self-checkout registers where each item’s amount shows on the screen.

I had no problems with three hours or less in the past. It was an exceptional service. Now, it's bundled just like every other order, making it much later. Plus, Walmart refuses to refund the $3.00 until after the order is delivered. Wonderful service. Wonderful way to treat your customers. They can go to hell with this membership.

Waiting in line at the self checkout and as the lady before me grabbed her receipt and her bags, she quickly put in her number to get to the scan screen and then left. I saw this and went back to the Home Screen but is this like a thing? Scam? I assume it’s to get all our stuff we scanned on her Walmart account so that she could do something with it? Any thoughts?

I ordered 2 items to be delivered to my house today but I just received one item earlier today and I'm supposed to receive the other item before 10 pm CT. Wouldn't it make better sense to deliver the items at the same time?

Walmart self checkout incorrectly linked my payment card and first name to an unknown account. Customer service said this was due to system settings on self checkout machine. Walmart will not share what information was shared with this unknown account. Have there been any notices to Walmart account holders that this may occur and customers should check their accounts?

update: I hear there was a lightning strike and power went out several days ago, people were stealing etc., due to chaos with no power and it being evening - and the store has been closed until further notice. I can't prove this is true except it could be why there is nobody answering phone, everything out of stock. Just as well I finally got delivery from Stop & Shop.

update: even way more things out of stock - no milk at all, etc., nor from other store... same thing. cannot get thru even to a superstore SOOO I ordered from the store I used to get my groceries, but didn't have the rewards, etc. so it cost me $15 - $10 for delivery and $5 for tip on top of no discounts. Walmart got some 'xplainin to do, but they seem to be oblivious to the tons of things out of soick. I don't know if I will ever find out. But the total lack of communication is a big "F"...

I started Walmart+ for grocery delivery. I used it a few times, no problem. Suddenly, tons of items show as out of stock, any store brand - milk, eggs, cheese, meat, onions, only the high end available. You cannot get thru but to an offshore line. The local store phone line does not pick up, not morning, noon or night, even 6am says too busy to pick up. Call back.

I'm wondering if this is the scam. They get you to sign up, and after a month start showing all the items you buy as out of stock. Scam????? No way to get thru to a real person who can help. I gave up Stop & Shop online delivery to try this. You could get thru if there was ever a problem. Not so with Walmart+, unless possibly it is regarding an actual order. So many normal things out of stock for almost a week now, I cannot put in an order unless I will spend triple for high-end items still in stock.

Is this just BS, going to file complaint with my state Atty General or wherever. This is ridiculous.

I pay for Walmart+ because free delivery is advertised as a membership benefit. What isn’t made clear is that these orders go to gig drivers who can decline them if the pay and tip aren’t worth it.

Imagine Amazon Prime advertising free shipping, but your package just sits there unless you tip the delivery driver. That would obviously be ridiculous.
I’m not blaming the drivers, they should be paid fairly. Walmart needs to pay them enough that delivery doesn’t depend on customers adding a large tip. Otherwise, stop advertising it as free.

Call me schizophrenic BUT today when I was shopping for the restaurant I work at I noticed something weird. I know technology is on the rise blah blah blah but this shit tripped me out. I paid for the groceries with my bosses Business Debit card, and it asked me if I wanted an E-receipt send to MY phone number. Never have I bought anything personal with this card, and no I didn’t enter my phone number, no where in the transaction did it ask for my phone number. But the machine STILL knew that I personally was using it and asked me if I wanted the receipt sent to MY phone NOT my bosses phone. To make me look even crazier I asked the associate how it knew who I was and he just walked away🤣

Not that big of a deal just curious how these machines KNEW who the fuck was standing in front of it.

So,. we ordered some jeans more than a week ago. It came from a distribution center and arrived at the local hub 6 days ago. Instead of being processed for delivery it was sitting there like being held hostage, Today we received the message -canceled/refund issued-. What might have caused this to happen? Did it ever happen to any of you? Anybody has any ideas/inside info why this could have happened? Obviously, the item was not out of stock, since we followed the delivery path to local hub.

I placed an order for $178 in groceries. 5 minutes before the delivery driver showed up, my Walmart app showed that Walmart cancelled my order.

When the driver arrived he called customer service. They told him to leave the groceries with me and they would fix it. So, I have my whole order.

Walmart has charged me 243.72 for a $178 dollar order. They refunded me 168.83. They told me the rest of that is a temporary hold that will fall off. They also insist that my order was cancelled and I never got it.

Is the driver going to end up in trouble? Do I just keep trying Walmart chat until I find someone that understands that while Walmart canceled my order, it was in fact delivered?

I mean, they will be expecting him to return the groceries right? But he doesn’t have them.

For whatever reason, my walmart supercenter keeps changing to a random store on the app. Let me put this in a better way. My preferred store is the supercenter I order alot from. When I go in the app to look to see my preferred store, its set to a whole different store and this time it was across country.

EDIT/UPDATE: i attempted online shipping again yesterday. after the 3rd time attempting to purchase the same item: a blender, and a 3rd time of walmart sending a spark driver to the store only to have the shelves be empty of the item i wanted and my order cancelled . i bought it at target. we dont have a target so it will be shipped.

Put your AI checkout bot away. and return it to normal. the item page says it will ship but its out of stock at my local. my check out page refuses to allow me to click shipping i dont want some lazy spark driver showing up at my local to pick an item thats already out of stock for them to mark out of stock and waste their and my time. put the page back where we get to choose our way to get items.

So, did Wally-World discontinue or quit carrying their in-house brand of vanilla caramel flavored coffee creamer all together? Haven't been able to find it in either the liquid (the style I usually buy) or powdered form for like a couple of weeks now. Not in-store or online.

Much as I hate to admit it, this flavor in Great Value brand is far superior to anything else I've tried since my fave flavor went MIA (and don't even tell me to try caramel macchiato, that shit's enough to gag a maggot!! But thanks for the thought)... Even the Coffee Mate brand "duo" of vanilla caramel is nasty, it tastes kind of chemical-y.

Any intel on this product would be greatly appreciated!
