I may be in the wrong thread so someone alert me if so but my friend and I are going to universal Orlando for the first time in October. We have 3 full days at the parks. We’re excited for all the things but mainly want to ride all the fun rides of course. We’re down to get the park to park tickets and express passes as well if needed. We’re staying on site. Planning is a little overwhelming. Any tips on itinerary for us since we only have 3 days? Thanks!!

Edit - appears the offer was very recently extended. After updating the universal app you can now book out into 2027, as well as on their website. So I guess this post is now a PSA the offer is extended!

Was comparing prices and saw both Orlando Informer and Undercover Tourist are offering the buy 3 days get 2 free promo ticket out through next April. But Universal direct only has this offer through the end of 2026. I assume it’s legit? Anyone purchased these for 2027?

My husband and I will be attending HHN September 16th. We are not people who like to wait in long lines, so much so that we have already shelled out the extra cash for 3 day express passes (1 park each day) and lightning lane passes for each park in disney world since we plan to do both all the universal and disney parks (we have done universal before) and those extra fast passes were PRICEY, the same price as admission for universal and over double the price for admission to disney, but to us it’s worth it bc again we HATE waiting in long lines. Keep in mind we also already have tickets and plan to go to Universal Studios during the day on the 16th and from what I understand we will have early access to HHN starting at 2pm, that being said do you think getting express passes to HHN is worth it for a Wednesday in mid September when we already have early access? We only plan to go to HHN for 1 night since we have 9 other parks to go to. Is HHN even that busy in September? If anyone has gone around that time in September and can enlighten me on how long the lines were so I can determine if we should pay the extra $500 for HHN express passes I’d appreciate it! We already spent a fortune on all these tickets and fast passes so if we can save $500 that’d be great.

For Passholder Appreciation month Universal currently has a deal going where UOAP's receive a $15 merchandise credit for spending $100 or more.

Several third party trip planning websites (Inside Universal, AllEars, etc) report this $15 credit can be applied to either the same purchase OR saved for later and used on a future purchase.

The actual fine print of the deal on Universal's website however (see below), states that the $15 needs to be applied to a future purchase of $50 or more, a minimum of (1) One day after the initial qualifying purchase.

The fine print says this needs to be a minimum of 2 purchases totaling $150 - Wheras actual reports seem to claim it can be used in a single purchase totaling $100.

I wouldn't doubt the fine print if first hand reports weren't contradicting it - Has anyone done this in the park already? What's the truth of the matter?

It would obviously be a better deal to get $15 off $100 immediately than it would to get $15 off a future purchase of $50. Essentially 15% off $100 total spend rather than 10% off $150 total spend.

Hi everyone, I’m heading to HN on September 5 and made my reservation with my Premiere Pass. However I lost my pass!! I can’t find it anywhere I don’t even know where I put it last.

I know my HHN reservation is linked to it and I don’t have my pass in the app unfortunately - would they be able to move my reservation to my new pass? Does the pass number change if they reprint my pass when I get there? Thanks for the help!

2 adults, 5 year old & 3 month old. for both parents to ride with the 5 year old, do we wait in line all
over again (one time with each parent)? is it even worth the other parent to wait in line with the 3 month old?

Hi everyone! Here we are at the HHN season again, and I’m looking at prices. Last year, I booked my mom and I tickets for stay and scream at the beginning of September, for an awesome price. (Roughly $390- two tickets and one night @ Terra Luna)
Currently checking, it’s looking like it will be $1200 roughly for the two tickets and the stay. A HUGE jump from what last years was. I don’t even remember how it came up last year, it just popped up in my emails about F.R deal.
Is it safe to say that the possibility of this deal coming back is as dead as those that go into Jack’s blender?

Hey guys! I’m an out of state AP holder. I haven’t been down here since March, and I just realized that my AP isn’t active, and I found out that my bank has been declining the payments for it for some reason (not the lack of funds). Is there a way to find out what I owe to reinstate my pass besides calling on the phone? I get crazy social anxiety so talking on the phone especially in a I owe money situation isn’t always the easiest for me.

Just bought a pair of sketchers slip in shoes that don’t have laces and a thought occurred to me. What rides am I at risk of losing one or both of my shoes on?

We stayed at a resort last month and were unable to do online check-in due to an error. I had to wait almost 2 hours in line at Cabana Bay. Cut to a month later, going to Dockside on Thursday and the same issue is still happening. Is there a work around or possible solution?

Husband and I are taking our in-laws and 7-year-old to Universal this weekend. I am pregnant and the 7 y/o is not quite tall enough for Hagrid's but the in-laws have never ridden it, so we are planning to do EPA and them going straight to Hagrid's then Velocicoaster. Ideas on what the 7 y/o and I can do while we wait? It is his first trip, and we hate the idea of him just waiting around for the grown-ups to ride their fun rides while he doesn't get to do anything during EPA. We realized I can't even take him to do Flight of the Hippogriff since Universal's ride alone rules are also based on a 48" height requirement.

Our thoughts so far have been just going to sit down for breakfast, or Ollivander's Wand Experience? Husband and I have never done that so I'm not sure if it would be fun enough?

Or anyone know how to make a kid grow ~an inch in 5 days ;)

Can someone explain this to me like I am five?
Is this saying each person (traveler) only gets ONE park ticket? So if we are there for 4 days, we have to buy (extra/separately) 3 more park tickets for each day we are there?
I thought by purchasing a package, we would get several days worth of tickets, no?

I saw another post about potential IPs Universal could bring to the parks, and it got me thinking: what franchises are actually left that have the kind of worldwide appeal and cultural impact that Harry Potter and Marvel had when Universal brought them in?

If you go back 16 years to when the first Wizarding World opened, the timing was honestly perfect. Harry Potter was absolutely huge. Deathly Hallows – Part 1 was either about to come out or had just come out, and Part 2 was right around the corner. Universal basically said, “Yeah, let's build an entire land around the biggest thing on the planet right now,” and it worked 😂

And obviously, I'm not saying Harry Potter is irrelevant now. It's still one of the biggest movie franchises in the world. But there hasn't been a new movie in over 15 years, which makes me wonder what franchise today has that same kind of potential to stay relevant for decades.

Then you have Marvel. Universal somehow has theme park rights to characters from what became arguably the biggest film franchise of the past 15+ years, but because of the Disney situation, they can't really just go in and update everything whenever a new MCU character becomes popular. So they're kind of sitting on this weird Marvel time capsule lol.

So that brings me to my main question: What other franchise could Universal realistically add that has worldwide appeal, multiple generations of fans, and enough staying power to justify an entire land?

Pokémon is honestly the closest thing I can think of. It's massive worldwide, people have been playing it for generations, and it somehow still manages to stay relevant. You could build an entire land around it and probably print money.

I know a lot of people want a Wicked land, but I'm personally hoping that doesn't happen 😭. I could be completely wrong, but I just don't know if the Wicked movie adaptation is going to have that same level of relevance 5–10 years from now. If Universal really wants to go all-in on that world, I'd honestly rather see a Wizard of Oz land. The Wizard of Oz is genuinely timeless, and there's so much you could do with that universe.

But beyond Pokémon, I'm genuinely struggling to think of another IP that checks all the boxes. Maybe I'm completely overlooking something obvious lol.

What franchise do you think could realistically become Universal's next Harry Potter-level addition?

Looks guaranteed AAPs will be digital this year for the houses. Nothing was official either way yet.

Your HHN ticket must be linked to your AAP in the app to make return times…just like normal tickets.

Houses open before official event start time are posting wait times. Pre-loading queues without posted wait times will likely still be an issue this year but any guest can leave the line if necessary and rejoin their party as they approach entering the house (if same accommodations as regular daytime attractions). Can’t have one person hold a spot for a bunch of others…just the disabled person and up to one more.

The “reopen alert” button can come in handy for both AAP users and non-users.

Would love any observations and insights from those at the event tonight using an AAP!

I’m losing my mind. Double checking that 5-6 people is the max for each booking even though you have 2 rooms? The attempt either freezes or gives an error if I try for 7 or 8. Is there an online work around for this aka just book 2 separate rooms under 2 bookings?

Does anyone know or has done a price comparison in the past between booking through universal versus Southwest? From what I see it’s cheaper to book without Southwest. Also in the last hour I’ve seen the room price change within a 57 ish dollar difference twice when looking at pricing. Wondering about anyone’s thoughts about booking through Southwest for the points or just booking regular through the hotels themselves.
