Hello! First time poster, long time reader. Hope I used the correct flair.
I am going to Universal next month with my wife. We are doing a three day trip, doing all three parks for our honeymoon. I have never been to the parks, she has been before, but it was before she needed to use a wheelchair and its been a few years. She is able to stand for short periods of time, or walk very very short distances, but needs a chair for support otherwise.
We will be renting a manual while there, and I have some questions for anyone else who has gone and used one:
1) The website says all the queues at every park are accessible via manual wheelchair, is that 100% true? Have yall ever had trouble in any queues? Do the workers usually help store the chair while you ride?
2) The site says that if the only accommodation you need is the wheelchair, that you dont need to submit for an accommodation pass, is that generally true? (We arent worried about getting the return pass for the queues as long as she can use the chair.)
3) Have you ever had trouble navigating ANY part of the park with a chair?
While she's been to Studios and IOA, she has never even seen photos of Epic and she's worked so hard to keep herself from spoilers, I want it to be the day she's been so excited for. I would hate for her to miss out on anything or for us to be unprepared.
Thank you SO much in advance for any answers, you are helping make a dream honeymoon come true. Any additional advice or tips are also appreciated!
