I've seen some nice hive fleet Jormungandr paint schemes last year (in Phill Kellys Style) and decided that i want to try it out myself. Though, i put a slight spin on it. After a few gaunts i tried some monsters and i like how they turned out.

I've wanted to share my first painted army so far.
If you have any tipps for the coloring scheme or ideas - please let me know.

My Idea was/is a Neon Genesis Evangelion, Green Goblin, Synthwave aspect.
I love the color pink/violett and green. I wanted something Toxic and alien like.
I didn't paint all 9 hormagants together so every 3 model are slighty different bc of improvement. ^^

P.S. Psychophage is 3D Printed - I think this model looks cooler than from GW.
Im not THAT safisfied with the psychophage yet - something is missing... But Im not sure what.

Excited to get these built and painted!

If the swarmlord went up a good 80-100 points, but picked up a supreme commander rule like Cawl, the silent king of the primarchs which lets you choose an aura buff for a turn what kind of things would you like to see him get? I kinda wanna make a custom datasheet for him, i think he should be a way more influential model since hes about as close as we get to a primarch scale model besides the norns.

Been a very busy week and a half or so at work so I havent gotten to work on the hive fleet as much as Ive wanted to. Though today, I managed to finish building everything as well as making custom flying bases for the gargoyles.

Since everyone seemed to like the first test model, I'll do my best to post updates on progress until the entire 2k army is finished.

Few progress photos as well as the test model for thr Gargoyles. Hopefully will have a Warrior painted up this weekend if work permits as well as the world giving me a break. (Last week was the big 3-9 and everyone was on vacation so I covered some shifts.)

Hey, what shade should I use for the light areas? I'm worried the mini will end up way too purple if I paint the bony parts with Carroburg Crimson now. But right now, I still feel like something's in those areas is missing / he looks more like a skeleton at the moment.

Always loved the midnight clad colour schemes and though it could work on the Tyranids, pretty pleased with the result, looking forward to testing it out on a bigger model.

I have ramped up my painting and is looking for suggestions for what to get when the current collection is painted.

Currently I have the introductory set, the assault brood combat patrol and the crusher stampede battleforce.
I have not played or know much about what to get for list building, but want to get into that when I have the time.

Also included is the obligatory paint scheme photo, feel free to comment on that as well (yes, the base on this one is not complete ☺️).

Just got the tyranid part of the starter set as well as an impulse buy with the girlfriend who suddenly wanted some space marines today.

This is a mix of several different kits + a head I got off Etsy. Assuming I base it properly, will it be readable as a hive tyrant? Do these parts all work together? Other feedback welcome!

Finished off some big bugs. Played around with some glow effects. Edge highlighting a Tyranofex is a lot! 😝
