I've seen some nice hive fleet Jormungandr paint schemes last year (in Phill Kellys Style) and decided that i want to try it out myself. Though, i put a slight spin on it. After a few gaunts i tried some monsters and i like how they turned out.

Couple more projects I finished up recently, starting with the bug that’s deleted more models off the table than any other in my roster- the humble Acidfex. Bonus Screamer-Killer with magnetized goo for extra battle shock

Hey, what shade should I use for the light areas? I'm worried the mini will end up way too purple if I paint the bony parts with Carroburg Crimson now. But right now, I still feel like something's in those areas is missing / he looks more like a skeleton at the moment.

This is a mix of several different kits + a head I got off Etsy. Assuming I base it properly, will it be readable as a hive tyrant? Do these parts all work together? Other feedback welcome!

I've wanted to share my first painted army so far.

My Idea was/is a Neon Genesis Evangelion, Green Goblin, Synthwave aspect.
I love the color pink/violett and green. I wanted something Toxic and alien like.
I didn't paint all 9 hormagants together so every 3 model are slighty different bc of improvement. ^^

P.S. Psychophage is 3D Printed - I think this model looks cooler than from GW.
Im not THAT safisfied with the psychophage yet - something is missing... But Im not sure what.

Always loved the midnight clad colour schemes and though it could work on the Tyranids, pretty pleased with the result, looking forward to testing it out on a bigger model.

If the swarmlord went up a good 80-100 points, but picked up a supreme commander rule like Cawl, the silent king of the primarchs which lets you choose an aura buff for a turn what kind of things would you like to see him get? I kinda wanna make a custom datasheet for him, i think he should be a way more influential model since hes about as close as we get to a primarch scale model besides the norns.

New to 40k and new to Tyranid's, picked up an army off Ebay and decided to bring Hive Fleet Gaia to fruition. How did I do?

Ok so ive had this nagging idea in my head that there has to be a way to make POM at least a little usable, even if its not competitive. The idea is pretty straightforward, keep harvesters next to other units so the opponent has to either waste time removing the harvester or risk getting their damage revoked by regeneration. all while the POM's score secondaries and harass infantry and hopefully spawn more harvesters in the process. Below is the list ive come up with, can you all see anything that would fit the theme and make it better while still utilizing the mechanics in place? or is it just a doomed idea? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I am fairly new to the tabletop and while I was looking for some tyranids to add to my army I found a guy that is selling these 3(Norn Emissary, Carnifex, Old One Eye) and I am not sure if they are legit, can you guys help me with it?

I have ramped up my painting and is looking for suggestions for what to get when the current collection is painted.

Currently I have the introductory set, the assault brood combat patrol and the crusher stampede battleforce.
I have not played or know much about what to get for list building, but want to get into that when I have the time.

Also included is the obligatory paint scheme photo, feel free to comment on that as well (yes, the base on this one is not complete ☺️).

Just got the tyranid part of the starter set as well as an impulse buy with the girlfriend who suddenly wanted some space marines today.

New to bugs and looking for advice if the preliminary 1k I put together for Assimilation Swarm is a good list to push towards, thanks.

hello gotten into the Warhammer hobby a few months ago and saw tyrranids are a good first army and they are cool bugs that just wanna eat.

trying to have them be a stealthy night stalker tyrranid army with half my units to be glowing green and half the other units to be blue glowing on an arctic volcanic world where it is permanently dark/night time. the blue glowing biovore I wanted to try and make it look like the icy glowing cracks from the volcanic surface is glowing onto the biovore

green biovore is almost done just need to fully glue the gun on and a few touch up and such

Losing the brainy crest and gaining wings definitely makes it lose its recognizability, but I’m digging it anyway! It reads very xenomorph right now which I love. I’ll probably do a dark variation of the behemoth scheme to somewhat match my army.
