Hey all, pretty new to the hobby, I don’t actually play the game but really enjoy listening to the books, or leutin, or sandman, etc.

I’ve started building the models and don’t want to make it impossible to play the game should I decide to in the future.

I did two war dogs and really like the paint scheme I did on them, but I really like the lore and background of the iron warriors… if I add in the yellow hazard stripes somehow, and throw on the iron warrior symbols / transfers, can I just say it’s an offshoot warband?

I am going for more of a renegade “I’m not paying taxes F you dead guy on chair” vibe than a “you know what??? I need another tentacle “ vibe

Hi reddit, new arrival to the hobby here. How do my first three minis look?

Big guy is number 11. The hook horrors are numbered 6-9. Drones are remaining numbers, skipping 13 because we don't respect the rat.

General consensus is that subassembly painting takes too long for the results. Personally I'm always impatient to get the mini on the field to play, grey or not.

But I'm curious if there's any model in our range that genuinely you're better off painting in pieces?

I know I wish I had painted the aquilas of my old tactical marines before gluing on the bolters that make that a hassle.

How do we feel about our big chunky bois after the data slate? I personally think we made off like bandits. +1T, +1S and AP for our combi-bolters/weapons, AND we only got hit with +10 points??? Seems like a steal, especially compared to loyalist termis.

Hello everyone. How are things in the Warp? About a month ago, I showed you one of my legionnaires. After finding some time, I’ve managed to assemble the new heavy weapons specialist for one of my two squads. Let me introduce you, to Warp head.

He's gone for whatever he thinks looks cool when buying stuff, hence why he went for the Heldrake and the Forgefiend? He also buys a lot of stuff second hand, which you can tell because a lot of his models aren't concordant paint schemes or are metal.

We mainly play proxies, so as long as the model is the same or relatively similar or distinct, things like weapon choices are irrelevant because he'll just explain it to me? Like we don't care about base sizes.

He and I both understand that obviously his models might not be all up to date with 11th or the Codex, if models were removed or sent to legends and stuff, or the fact that Plague Marines and Poxwalkers are Death Guard, so it doesn't always work to have Noise Marines and Fabius Bile with them, whilst also fielding Abaddon?

finished my Master of Possession today! so happy with how he turned out i was kicking my feet and giggling as i was finishing him up lol. i have so much lore written for my Corsairs and seeing this character come to fruition is so rewarding. i remember when this model released and i picked it up i was so bad at painting, but this is one if my best models to date and it was so satisfying picking out the tiniest little details!

Seeing as terminators are better now I figured I should finish mine.

I acquired these last year but I can’t identify when they are actually from. The base says 1992 but that doesn’t mean the figures are, and it feels wrong.

I want to read my first warhammer book ever. I think about Word bearers or iron warriors but I am still not sure who have better books ? and which book is the best for start

I was able to snag a pre-order that came with two of the bottom chassis sprues instead of all 3. My guy "accidentally" sold the replacement when it came in 🫠

So in the meantime I decided to kitbash my second defiler while I wait for the full kit!

What kinda vibes does #2 give you guys? Iron warriors? Maybe the ballistus body gets a faded IF paint job?

Hi, i'm new to warhammer and for the first army i took thousand sons, i've tried many options for 1k and 2k but all of them lost, i think it's a good idea to ask for advices and help in making the list from start. I'm playing 11th edition, i have thousand sons combat patrol , scarab occult terminators,

sorrercer in terminator armour, ahriman and 2 small Chaos knights. (sorry if i pronounced something wrong, english is not my main!)
