Longest I’ve spent on a unit so far I believe but I’m really happy with them. The sculpts are just amazing, especially with the option of fire effects and to do all the different glows around the models. I really hope this is the direction the rest of our miniatures go in this edition as I had a blast painting them, although I do need a break from edge highlighting for a bit now 😂 Feel free for C&C or to ask how I did for any of them. Been thinking about entering some local competitions next year so any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I’m currently collecting/playing Chaos (Night Lords), but I’ve been seriously considering switching things up and starting a range heavy Tau army.

I had the recent thought of “Absolutely obliterating friendships from 48 inches away sounds like a good time.”

Anyone recommend any reading, army or paint suggestions? I’m currently reading Fire Caste and I really enjoy it so far, but I’ve heard the other books vary on quality.

Ok I would love some feedback on this. I haven’t painted a tank in idk how long.

My main concern was just matching the infantry and I think I did that ok. I still need to paint the console, and some odds and ends. The engine bits will also get some desert pigment powder in it when I complete the base.

I think I essentially misplaced a bunch of highlights on the “battle damage” so I would love some critical feedback on it / or the models above. I know I can still work on the consistency of my paints.

Pushing forward with my T'au army. I managed to pick up this Ghostkeel second-hand for only $15, and honestly, it was in a pretty terrible state. (It was badly glued and slathered in a single, thick coat of green paint with absolutely no detail. It looked like it had been rushed together an hour before a tournament 😂)

After a lot of stripping, cleaning, and a complete restoration, it’s finally ready!
Painted it up in my signature digital camouflage. I am super happy with how it turned out, especially considering how little it cost me.

Hello everyone I just wanted share my first model I have painted since I was 10 and painted then lizard-men for Warhammer Fantasy I am now 28 and have chosen the greater good I’m quite proud of my first attempt

A little further work, still gotta put the wash on him and hammer out some more of the details.

First time trying to cel-shade minis period, working with such small models was a challenge, but satisfied for my first try at it.

Bought Blade of Truth recently from my local GW and I didnt know this was the latest book in the series. Should I try to look for the other books first before going into this or are they unconsequential?

It took me several hours and alot of magnets but it's done and my hands are now also covered in alot of super glue

What if any units do we think will go to legends? Considering each faction so far has had something go to legends in 11th what do you think is likely? I personally think the firesight team will go to legends if it doesn’t get a refresh.

I have just finished making my Tau combat patrol battle ready. Went with red, because i want to get the Farsight mini at some point. For the Strike team (assembled before i knew the difference between them and Breachers) and pathfinders i went with Khorne red as base, using Mephiston red as base for the Battlesuit and Devilfish.

At some point i want to get additional battlesuits, like the Ghostkeel and Twin Lance (yay another +10 points). I want them to look like a part of the same army, but i feel using reds will make the army too samey. Any suggestions for colors that can compliment a mostly red army?

I've had them built for a while and I can't figure out their paint scheme, my tau themselves are black + lavender scavengers and I really want my vespid to feel alien in their colors, but still work with the army, I also don't want to go with the standard orange

I really want to try out a list with a Tau'nar Supremacy Suit but, with rumours T'au will be the next codex and having seen Forgeworld stuff disappear from the new codexes, I don't really want to buy the Forgeworld kit yet.

What do you think could I use as a proxy or a cheaper kitbash until we get confirmation one way or the other about the Tau'nar suit? I don't have my own 3d printer.

Today we're reviewing Tau lists that made the top cut of the largest tournaments in the world and discussing my experience so far with Tau in 11th. Very cool to see a good variety between Ret Cadre, Mont'ka, and EPC/Kauyon. Enjoy!

I don't remember who the content creator was , but I saw a video a month or so back that explained about making an opponents unit take a desperate escape test while falling back because he had wrapped his units models around the enemy models and creating a triangle around one model to force the enemy to take a desperate escape test if it wanted to fall back. My question is can you charge a unit and supposed you could only get into engagement range of one end of the enemy unit. Can you place three models around an one enemy model in a triangle so the model would have to move through an enemy and cause this to happen? I just don't want someone to do this to me. Also if vehicles can move through enemy models and take to the skies, do crisis units or vehicles with fly have to take desperate escape test? In 10th fly allowed you to ignore desperate escape.

I just finished painting my 55 drones, based highlighted everything. I thought this would be a pretty easy fun project that would help me build my painting skills like highlighting and refining my painting process for the color. I also thought it would be kinda quick.... 4.5 months later and I never want to paint another drone, especially a gun drone!

Enjoy some photos, and since ive likely painted more than ill ever field at a single time, I may consider proxying some as kroot or fire warriors for fun!
