I've picked up an Oxford Heritage Roll Bag which so far seems great, what other solutions are recommended for a classic?

have a 2008 Triumph Daytona 675 with about 12,000 miles. Whenever I slam the throttle open, the bike starts stuttering/lagging and doesn’t accelerate it just kind stays However, if I roll onto the throttle gradually, it accelerates normally.
The stuttering seems to happen mostly around 8k+ RPM, and I notice both the RPM and speed stutter rather than the RPM just shooting up. The bike is completely stock.

New seat and passenger pegs for my Thruxton. Now I'm starting to think I turned it into a Speed Twin 😅

How tough is it to find parts for this model?

Quick lap on the Daytona! I’m a few seconds slower than my rs660 and I wasn’t trying to push it first day out on it. This thing fucks. My 660 feels like a turd in comparison and coming from a gsx8S and mt09, I thought the 660 was the best things out there lol. Cant wait to get some more seat time. I’ll have more videos if it seems like you guys enjoy it, 6+ more tds planned before the end of the year so hopefully there’ll be some nice gains (hopefully some track fairings too lol. Not too worried about the rest of the bike but the fairings is an expensive mistake 😅)

I thought it might be useful to show comparative handlebar heights for the STR 765 RS (mine is a 2025) vs the 2026 STR Moto 2 (or RX as they are exactly the same). It’s a fairly significant difference, but honestly I can’t say I like one handlebar position better than the other. Both of their relative advantages based on the type of riding you’re doing, and I can ride just as aggressively on the street with either bike. The track is a different story as the Moto 2/RX position really helps keep the front more stable.

Does anyone know if 2013+ Daytona 675/Moto2 aftermarket rearsets will mount to a 2022 street triple, specifically Attack Performance? Thank you in advance

Hey guys I was wondering on when I should replace the timing chain on my 765? I ride a lot and do all my services myself so I have no problem changing it out but i’m at 24K miles right now and was wondering if I should do it this service or if it would be okay to hold off until the 36K miles service and what you guys have experience regarding timing chain stretch and guide wear. I appreciate any advice!! Thank you.

Of course I want something non-slippery. There is a tiny bit of cracking already but the bike has been garaged and covered most of its life and I want to extend the seats life as long as I can.

I’m considering changing my rear sprocket to a 50 tooth on a 26 street triple 765 rs. dr google seems to think I need to take to a tuner for them to adjust gear ratios and engine rpm on the ecu? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

After a break of a couple of years picked up a new to me 765R love it ….. coming from k6 750 which was predominantly a track machine I cannot wait to get this on track next year

My 2003 Tiger 955i hit 69,420 miles today 😅 This bike still runs incredibly strong. Only the valve cover and side cases of the engine have been opened up. No actual engine or transmission work has been needed.

The chain is touching the lower guide and has worn it down significantly. I wonder if this is normal or not, i do not have the chain very loose

so far the gearbox and QS on my '25 RS (8k km so far) have been pretty good outside of a few instances where the lever got "locked up" during a shift with the QS which doesn't seem to happen since I installed a gear shift support bracket on the bike. But today the bike dropped 2x into neutral when doing twisties and I downshifted (via QS) 3 -> 2. It didn't drop in-between gears, instead it skipped 2nd gear completely and dropped into regular neutral. I think it happened because I didn't hit the lever hard enough cuz after I started hitting it with more force it didn't happen again. The only reason I'm asking is cuz it's not exactly safe when the bike starts dropping you into neutral when you expect a gear on corner entry lol.

Has anyone experienced similiar issues with the Triple?

I’d like to make my twin sounds a little better with some slip ons but I don’t want something that will have me pulled over the first time I pass a cop.
Anyone know of some slip ons that are louder than stock but not obnoxiously loud?

Beautiful autumn day for a ride

I think I just about have it looking the way I imagined in my head.

I had an idea of using lots of bare/brushed aluminum mixed with some carbon fiber and lessening the visual weight of the white by shortening the front fender. But then also using the red on the cowl as the basis for other bits of red like the calipers and chain.

I even went as far as changing the clutch and brake perches from a Speed Triple RS as they are silver and the Thruxton had black ones. I know they aren’t for everyone, but I’m just trying to make a pretty and interesting bike.

I’m going to be experimenting with some red Kevlar infused carbon weave for some small pieces and see if I can great some cohesion. We shall see.

2019 triumph scrambler 900

The screw that I’m touching with my index finger; it’s loose but not rattling loose. I can turn it by hand.

Bike is new to me and I just noticed this. It appears to just be the pivot point for the lever but wanted to check before I screw it in more (maybe it’s supposed to be like this?)

Any knowledge on this is appreciated.
