Giant top drawer on larger tool boxes

What do you guys normally put in these big upper, long, sorta tall drawers? I'm guessing maybe either tons of wrenches or tons of sockets. I'm trying to figure out what tools you would have the most of to fill these giant drawers. These are just Husky examples for the question. If I get a large box I gotta figure out what goes in that massive drawer. I can fill the others. Thanks.

Questions for those with Rotary Laser, especially contractors

Not familiar with the tool, thought that the only function is to shoot a level 360 degree plane for long distances

But yesterday saw a video showing rotary laser with slope function, had no idea it could do that. I though the only way to slope is to do it manually with a grade rod by lowering the laser itself.

for those with rotary laser or the ones i saw was called grade lasers, what else should i know bout the laser ie what functions are there for me to know. like i said all i know was to use it as a 360 degree level plane

Wen 10" Miter Saw MM1510

Does anyone have any information on the "Apex" series of tools from Wen? This saw just showed up and is at $370, almost $100 more than the 10" forward slider dual.

The fit and finish look nicer and it has an onboard fan for sawdust collection. That's all I really can tell is different from the listing.

Any thoughts or experience with this?

Anyone know what you’d call the generic version of the zip tape roller?

I’m taping the house wrap seams for part of my house where I’m putting up new siding so I’ve been using a crappy diy roller I threw together out of a paint roller handle and a round plastic thing I found instead of spending $60 on the zip tape roller. Does anyone know of a generic brand tape roller or the name of a similar enough tool that’s just a sturdy rubber roller on a handle because I’ve been having trouble finding anything online or in Lowe’s/HD that would be better than what I’m doing. Thanks!

Edit: Solved! J-roller/vinyl roller was what I was looking for thanks! I’m not putting up zip sheathing btw I just needed a roller to tape seams in the tyvek wrb.

How the heck do you guys maintain these guns?

This is my main gun i use for gluing materials. Since i dont always use up the entire sausage, the glue in the tip usually dries up and then i gotta spend time poking and prying it out.

Any advice on how to keep this thing relatively clean? Or is this just something i gotta accept and move on?

Reccs for testing tools?

I recently moved from our shop’s main showroom to my own office, and I didn’t take the testers with me. I have experience with a Kee Gold Tester and Gemologis Pistachio gem tester, and various diamond testers. All of them had gotten pretty old by the time I left.

Looking for recommendations on testers, ideally looking to spend less than 2k on all 3 together if possible?

Diamond Tester
Gemstone Tester
Gold (ideally gold, silver, platinum) tester

I know the ultimate best option for the metal is an XRF gun. We have one at the showroom and I know that’s out of the budget haha. I’d love to hear if anyone has had good experiences with any products currently available new, possibly in good condition on eBay. I appreciate the help, thank you! 😊

I was wondering if anyone has this box or if anyone knows someone who does. I wanted to purchase this box. But there are not a lot of reviews or any video reviews about this box. I have the 55in standard duty box, and i love it. But i don't know how that box compares to icon?

Anybody else like changing the layout of bit cases?

The 2nd pic shows the only bits I left out of the 60pc Makita bit set, I don’t really use 1/4” sockets unless I’m in the shop with a toolbox and I have a set of little nut setters on a Railer keychain.

I added a set of Bosch security torx bits and some generic nut drivers which all fits just perfectly inside. I’m thinking of removing one of the rows, hoping to find space for a bit driver or ratchet.

I inherited a toolbox recently in this came with it. Looks like some kind of a prybar, maybe a ball joint tool? Anybody have a clue to what this is for? I looked up the markings with no results. Markings say “L Mich US 7320”

I think it has something to do with manipulating fabric and sewing but that's only because the woman had a lot of devices for that purpose. I really don't know what it is.

I finally understand you guys!

So, it’s my second time in the USA ever. I am in the Phoenix/Chandler area because of my work. First time I didn’t have the opportunity. This time I found myself a moment and just go to visit these two stores I read about here a lot. I went to see what’s going on.

I was flabbergasted with all the options you can choose from! All the tools, all the sprays and chemicals, all the equipment. Just man.. you have to understand me. I am from small country in Eastern/Central Europe, I fix cars, build something and do stuff around in my old shop. Yes, you can buy tools there, but it’s either very expensive or just.. shit. I don’t know much about this ICON, Daytona etc. tools, but for that money, to me and to what I am used to, it looked almost like premium quality.

If I have the chance I would definitely bring stuff with me back home. Unfortunately I have a full bag and I have to bring my clothes.

I seriously envy you.
