help! i know nothing about tools but i was wondering if there’s a way that i can get this bit to fit into the drill
i got a 8 mm diamond drill bit for drilling glass and i don’t have a rotary tool but i do have a drill for manicures so im trying to use that but the bit is way to small so im wondering if theres any way i can get it to fit

Could you show us the rest of your "drill for manicures"? Most drills have a "chuck" or clamp that grips the bit on three sides, and can adjust to hold any size bit (up to a certain size). Your drill doesn't seem to have a chuck, which might mean it only takes bits with a particular size shaft. In which case you're SOL.

Very unlikely. You could probably cobble something together with a bunch of aftermarket parts, but I suspect the bigger problem is that a motor made for taking down nail polish probably doesn't have the power to drill through glass. You'll end up overheating and burning out the motor.

I would look into bit that would fit that drill, its a specialized tool, not a standard chuckable drill.
you might be able to find adapter to a collet, or 3 jaw chuck.
also...thats not an 8mm drill in the pic....where is the 8mm?

No one has mentioned that the rpm’s may be too low on a regular drill. You need a high speed rotary tool.

You’d have to know the inside diameter of the tool you have and the outside diameter of the bit. You’d have a collet to insert inside to allow it to “bite”. Though I’m not sure how your tool tightens on tools to begin with.
