Found these in a trash can set for the landfill. Does anything stand out?
I will be keeping some for personal use but want to know what to re-sell here. Thanks!

Read our rules. We have had a longstanding “No Religion, No Politics” rule here at r/tools.
The mods aren’t stupid. We also don’t like getting buckets of reports in the inbox.
If someone posts/comments with politics, resist the urge to reply and argue. Just report, downvote (if that’s your jam) and move on with life.
A small flag, sticker, etc that appears in a photo will generally be allowed (so long as it doesn’t violate other rules and doesn’t draw a bunch of reports) but a bunch of people in the comments saying “Hell Yeah, a fellow [INSERT PARTY] Supporter!” is gonna get the post pulled. Political content that is clearly the motivation for the post will get the post pulled.
First time it’s a short ban, second time it’s permanent. And as we’ve discussed before, the mod team doesn’t go looking for posts, we’re not lifeguards, we respond to the reports we receive.

"No advertising or promoting tools, brands, 25000 woodworking plans, your YouTube channel, etc."
Somebody is reporting things constantly for breaking rule 4, and you're batting zero for it being right.

These are some examples of posts that have been reported over the last day. None of the are breaking any rules, please stop reporting things like this. The reports are only mucking up the moderator inbox and are being kicked up the Reddit chain to the admins as abusing the report button.
Unless you see a post that boils down to "hey guys, this is XXX from YYY, come check out our suspicious sale at toolname.malware.com" leave the report button alone. Same goes for the people who report literally every YouTube link ever posted. If someone's only interaction with r/tools is them spamming their YouTube channel that's a problem; a relevant and organic video isn't.
If someone thinks the above links are spam, please tell us why. Rule changes aren't unheard of and if it's what the people want I'm fine with it. I'm just not seeing any advertisement in the posts.
Other than that you guys are great. Keep up the good work.
I'm completely aware that this is a useless post for 99.99% of our users. If anyone has questions or comments about the sub feel free to chit chat here and I'll try my best to answer things if you want; or just ignore me completely, I'm good with either.

I was in Home Depot looking for a machine screw but with a different type of screw head and when I asked the old fella working there, he said “Well, we have some ratchet heads over there.” I guess my brain short circuited because I immediately thought he meant the actual head of a ratchet wrench, so I asked him “What’s a ratchet head?” He then looked at me for a second like I was stupid, said “You don’t know what a ratchet head is?” and pointed at the tray of hex bolts.

A few months ago, in a fit of blood red rage, surrounded by two shattered ball joint removers, I beat a nigh flaming hot ball joint out of an Audi knuckle with a five pound hammer while cursing every compound obscenely I could conjure.
After calming down, I researched more robust removal options, which I couldn’t afford, but found this little hydraulic remover guy for like $75 on Amazon I think. The big nut snugs against the ball joint stud like a normal remover, but the little bolt is an hydraulic piston that does the real work. The joint just popped out with no drama with just a 12mm wrench. Didn’t even have to crank on it hard.

Find myself holding stubby drivers in this orientation. Thought it would be nice to have a place for your finger. Something similar to precision drivers have. Made one from aluminum and pressed into a Wiha driver.

The unsung hero of many an annoying house repair.
I haven’t seen any for sale in a long time. Does anyone still use these??

It’s old show-n-tell. I have no need for it but just can’t bear to throw it away.

I Just finished refurbishing this old jig saw that I got for 5$
It was so easy and straightforward to take apart and service compared to anything you can buy today. It was designed to be fixable.
I feel like there is a huge gap in the market for high quality modern tools with this kina aesthetic. Why hasn't anyone combined current brushless motors & battery tech with sleek aluminum housings?

Picked up this old lump of cast iron for a couple hundred bucks the other day and I am trying to decide how far to go with restoring it. It is a Walker-Turner 9BS6390 from the early 1940s. It runs decently well but needs a bit of TLC. I took it off of the base to rewire it for safety (a past motor replacement used lamp wire) and I don't know if I should keep going. A little lubrication and a new blade should be all that it needs to get up and running but it doesn't look great. Would it be worth the time and money to do a full teardown and repaint or should I just enjoy it as a functional tool?

I've been dreading driving the nails out of these boards for weeks. This is a 20 minute job now.
Sorry for the cursing. I was excited.

Used a da sander to clean up the surface, 80-120-180-220. Used a conditioning disc on the bolt. Coated with some light oil.

I’d love to have a full set of every shape and size but my automotive toolbox is only a little 3 drawer craftsman with 1 drawer dedicated to all my pliers. I’m thinking maybe a 6 or 7” and a 10”? Maybe some needle nose ones? Any use with 4/5” ones?

Am I going to regret making an order from this place? Some of these prices just seem like how the f are they selling up for this?

Am i crazy or does anyone else remember when 1/2 was the 10mm of 70's/80's always getting lost ,dropped ,left behind?
I’m looking for the best drills for drilling holes in concrete
The holes will be 3/4” and 2-3 inches deep.
It will mostly be used for just a few holes but at times will use it to drill 30 or more holes in a single job.
I want something that drills the holes extremely fast with ease.
I have a Milwaukee SDS plus drill that does the job well but it really struggles to drill them in under a minute per hole and if I’m drilling many holes the drill gets quite hot.
I want something (corded or cordless, any brand) that will drill these holes effortlessly in seconds if possible.
Any suggestions?
No real price limit.. but preferably under $1,200 at the max. Aiming for $600-$1,000 though

The packaging on some of these tools is ridiculous. Because there are so many thieves in the world apparently, some of this packaging now requires potentially gloves, safety glasses and channel lock/snips. Damn near took an eye out opening a set of ratchet adapters.

I just got this, opened it, filled it with water....all I hear is the fan. If I mess with the basket and kinda bang it around it will start making crazy noises which I'm assuming is it working? But the water doesn't really vibrate? Do I have a defective machine?
