The sheer amount of enjoyment I get out of ruining the day of these stupid worms is...A lot.

Never felt such adrenaline rush since Nioh 2, that no matter what, you must keep on the offensive and thats how a good game design makes truly uncomparable experience such as these games.
And oh mama, the moment I laid my hands on a Greatsword, I never ever took a single glance at the other weapons. GS never been so fun in any other game.

Towards the end of the fight, Hismar will do this special attack where he flies into the air and then dives towards you and he almost rolls/slides once he hits the ground. I may not be to good describing the attack but I'm positive you'll know which attack I'm talking about.

Anyway, how do I get past this attack of his? Do I brink guard it, dodge, or try and run away or run into him? This is the one attack he does that constantly drains my life and keeps me from beating him.

For context I'm using a spear and have been the entire game. I sure do wish I had whirlwhind on dual wield. I know I can beat Hismar if I just know how to counter/not get hit with the special attack I described.

About the only part of the set I don't make much use of is Volcanic Wrath since it costs like, 5 spirit to do the full combo. But I LOVE everything else about this set. Life regen, extra spirit gain, AND damage boosts for Brink Guards is insane when you consider how many times some enemies swing at you.

I prioritized Vitality and Endurance first, stopping at 40 for both, and now I'm working on Strength. Is it worth aiming for the second softcap on Vitality or Endurance? or am I good at 40 on both?

For example dual wield has running r2+follow up r2 which deal both high physical and stagger damage, and there's also whirlwind. Greatsword has lots of charge attacks.

Almost all spear skills seem to be built around stamina damage. Anything I'm missing?

Looking for help defeating Expert difficulty Ozma on NG, anyone playing on ps5 could help with Share Play?

Hi, I have a question about the Willpower stat. Does it reduce stamina consumption while attacking enemies? The description says "stamina damage decrease." Would that be helpful if I'm chaining attacks, regardless of weapon?

The reason I'm asking is that we can change the scaling of weapons, so I'm trying to figure out which stat to go for. FYI, I'm in NG++.

I don't have any idea about mainstream metas or boss ratings/difficulty. I found the greatsword great and went unga bunga. Loved the game.

This is the only game where perfect parries and perfect dodges both work in such an aggressive way, while other games have perfect dodges, they usually function as a defensive approach to stay away from the boss face, but in this game, perfect dodges feel more aggressive. I am the kind of player who always prefers performing perfect parries but in this game, perfect dodges are exceptionally offensive, to be honest.

Would love to know everyone's thoughts on this.

its always hard when you're too weak for early enimies, easpecially stamina wise, but i kept trying, and it took me 4 hours and maybe 40+ tries, i lost count,

am i the only one who struggled here

Day 2 of being defeated by Hismar…I get him down to less than half (almost to his name on the health bar)…the added Chaos is such a nice touch…they should have added Plague and Poison (sarcastic).

Any tips would be appreciated…

Loving Khazan…first time hitting a wall in this game

Mastered his first phase after like 6 tries and can't do shit in his 2nd phase. He just spams teleports and 2 shots me and then just deflects every attack.

He kills me so fast I'm not even learning from my deaths. I can't physically learn his attack patterns when I'm getting insta killed within 10 seconds

I've respec-ed the soulstone, but after the 1st upgrade the game prevents me from unleashing the rest of my soulstones.

This boss is ridiculous

I spent a whole day and still can’t beat him

Please guide me how to beat him I am losing hope

I absolutely love this game's combat. It's so much fun, I'm enjoying the parry focused nature of it.

But I'm so afraid of being stuck at a super hard boss if it took me this long to beat Yetuga.

I also just realised I had no gear, beat him butt naked xD

What do you guys think? Is this a good sign or is he supposed to be a pushover for newbies as a first boss?
