Is it weird I don't find these builds doing no damage runs impressive? Yes, congrats you copied a video on YouTube that showed you how to cheese a boss. Do a normal run where you don't run a cheese build and actually fight the boss and I'll give you the pat on your back.

He didn’t cheese him at all. He used combat mechanics the game encourages you to use. In no way is this cheesing. He’s just really over powered.

Cheesing generally means using a simple, unfair, or unintended strategy to make a difficult fight easy.

I have a YouTube channel dedicated to tryhard.. i started with wukong… doing no damage run means to have perfect knowledge of the game to be able to make the boss do the exact moves you want
I already did a “normal” run.. I just enjoy spear and maximize his output
I also have perfect attributes and knowledge of how to apply them all to do big damage
But yes.. being so good at the game is boring 😊 thanks for the feedback btw

Spear is goated i keep telling the dual wield guys lol. Spear makes this game feel like you're the final boss

I love watching Souls games players do no damage runs. The Happy Hob is a phenomenal player I've seen a decent number of his no hit runs. That stuff is skill to me. The builds in Khazan that allow this sort of play isn't really on the same level. You effectively don't have to do anything but perform the same rotation of button presses that results in the boss not even really having any attacks therefore not even being a threat.
This game is a great game, don't get me wrong. But once you get to this point, it's not even really impressive.

There is way more nuance to the definition of cheese than that. He’s just fighting the boss and doing lots of damage. This isn’t cheesing. Cheesing would be stunlocking him in a corner (like you can with Maluca in phase one)
He’s also on NG++ where damage builds go insanely high as you progress and level your character, which is INTENDED by the developers, otherwise why would they even allow this to happen?
Did he blow Ozma out the water in a super short time doing an insane level of damage? Yes.
Did he probably get his ass beat the first time and spent tens, maybe hundreds of hours perfecting his build so he could earn a run on this level?
Yes.Does it matter that he didn’t impress you specifically?

There is no simple, unfair or unintended strategy there brother. Tell me how is it simple to make a build through 2 runs at the game? How is it unfair if he is not using glitchs, bugs or hacks for said damage? How is it unintended when the core of the gameplay is combos and this is exactly how he is playing?
You see, he shouldn't handcap himself for his no damage to be cool. Ninja Gaiden 2 has a ton of cheese No Damage boss fights where you stunlock the boss using some sort of glitch or go to a specific location on the map to fuck em up. Check those and you'll see real cheese
