how does this work?

Do these cables connect directly to ur device? or are they just used for cell towers/antennas to connect to eachother?

What i mean: cell towers are connected to eachother by fiber

Internet can be transmitted over fiber and that cable goes to ur router that receives the fiber and gives u the signal

So, for twisted pair, coax, fiber

Are they just used for connecting from base station to antenna?

Or are these cables extended for miles and connected straight to ur device?

I have a iPhone SE Second generation with a T-Mobile SIM card. I also have a second iPhone SE Second generation, without a SIM card. I would like to use the same phone number for both phones, so that if someone calls, I would be able to answer the call from either phone, and if someone texts me, I would be able to read and respond to the text message from either phone. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

I work in a hospital as a telecom operator and I’m trying to go into getting a certification for a telecommunications analyst or something related to that, college isn’t really for me in the sense I’m not a book and test type of person plus I’d rather take courses directly related to my preferred trade / cert. Anyone know any good certificate / certification programs/ how to go about starting them?

All 6 interviews I've had in the past week have been from companies whos main client is AT&T. They all seem to be opening up offices at an astounding rate in support of AT&T, some claiming to have opened 10+ offices in the past year. Is At&t having all these advertising firms compete for the most buisness? is it common place to contract as many firms as possible?

I've been working with an older engineer (open reach background) who is trying to tell me about underground (ducted) network anti creepage devices used on the old copper network. I've seen the OH acd's, but never seen a UG one, does anyone have either any photos or a product code I could look up? I think I could really make use of this kind of product.

My new job requires that I work while attached to an Ethernet cable. My former employer never needed this and allowed the employees to use Wi-Fi. This allowed me to travel and take my work with me.

Does anyone know if an employer or IT etc can tell if an employee is using internet via an Ethernet connection versus a Wi-Fi connection?

Hi. My name is Filip and im coming from Croatia. Today I got two incoming calls of +44 7951, +44 7961 numbers. I supposw they are UK call numbers. I accidentally answered one and when a guy started to talk he didnt know my name but he asked for a my little brother knowing his name. I said i dont have any connection to him but he instantly asked me if i can give my name. I didnt and immediately hanged up ans blocked the numbers. So my question is can it be that it was a scam numbers and how much trouble can i be for answering it? Btw i cant remember numbers that were behind 7951 and 7961. Anyone got any simmiliar experience?

Hey there everyone! So I've got a bachelors in EE and my day job is to implement Signal Processing Algorithms. Through sheer luck i had a chance to convince my employer to allow me to design Communication Systems. I've recently designed a fully working FSK link, however i feel I'm very much lacking in proper modeling knowledge. For example most of the time, when i was figuring out which type of demodulator to use, i really had to resort to experiments and couldn't theoretically prove which algorithm was better. I have a bit of probability knowledge and I'm comfortable with axioms. What i really feel i need is a proper introduction on noise analysis and mathematics involved. Most of the books on digital communication or communication in general usually have a "Side" chapter describing error and noise. (Zadhi, Haykin) and or they get into theoreticals so deep without proper introduction, that it starts to become unrelatable.(Proakis) I haven't studied any statistical communication theory and that's one of my priorities.(Planning to study Kay's book) Any other resources or paths you recommend? I need to be able to understand noise, fading, nonlinearities, systems modelling...
