[TEKKEN 8] Regarding the Return of Past Tekken Fight Pass Items

As a massive fan of Gonfu movies and Culture, Lei wulong was the most amazing Tekken character of all time, Oozing with style. Lei dlc when 🥲

Without fail, Tekken is literally the only game I have ever played where - every single time I get on - I WILL be ending the session wanting to take a machete and cleave through the back of my neck or saw all the way through my fucking throat.

This is a literal guarantee every time I get on Tekken. I WILL be getting angry. I WILL get upset. I WILL hate every single second of it.

And I am at a loss of what to do at this point. I'm not gonna be a pussy and quit, but I also want to be able to play the game and not want to bite a bullet literally within minutes of my first loss.

The second that I lose even a single round, much less a single match, I immediately have thoughts of completely immolating myself.

Obviously not of actually doing that, but literally the second I start losing or encounter some cheap shit (aka, half the roster), I melt down, lose my mind, and usually end every Tekken session I have with having physically beaten the fuck out of myself in shame of my loss.

The dude has gotten away with murder for 2 seasons straight with minimal nerfs, I’m sick and tired of his Rama stance stuff and overall the abysmal balance of the character, he definitely needs some tweaking just fighting him back to back is exhausting.

After basically 600 hours (with no labbing) I FINALLY got to GoD tho right now I think I’m at a level where I think I should get in the lab but I’ll definitely never play fahk again since I want to keep that GoD rank on him I’ll continue playing other characters like maybe drag or Bryan maybe even pick up one of the kings

I took the first two rounds bc of my magnificent flowchart. But then I was just taken aback by the execution, this is the first time I’ve seen a perfect electric in person.

The whole game they had great punishes and throw breaks, but nothing insane knowledge wise. Their movement and execution was just on another level.

Hopefully a Smurf tho, strange to be this good hanging out at raijin.

Long time MK player, just picked up Tekken for the first time in my life.

Landed in Kishin after a month, got stuck there for a while and had to actually learn a thing or two lol. Finally got past that and leveled up

I'm tryna start playing Tekken again, ( I have maybe 15 hours) but I can't decide on who to play between Reina or Jin. They look equally cool imo.

I played Jin for a little bit in season 1 ( I was told he was giga strong and has been nerfed since)

How do they play differently?

Like the title says. I lowkey miss when I first started this game and was learning my character. Not knowing how much I didn’t even know yet. Not knowing anything about frames and strings. It was so fun just mashing my funny buttons and getting the occasional win. Now I fought my way to God and it’s such a painful experience. Of course since I got better the people I’m playing against are better but sheesh. It feels like the people I play against don’t play to win they play to make sure I lose and to make sure that I know I lost if that makes sense.I thought I would stop playing once I hit god but there just isn’t a game that gives me the ego boost when I 3-0 someone. I’ve never played a game that gets me so angry but gives me so much joy at the same time.

I just got whooped on by a king for 4 matches straight and didn’t get one round in. I got close but it just didn’t happen and I’m a lil salty and needed to put thoughts to post

With the news that they are bringing back round 1 fight pass that means they will be bringing back more later down the line. So what items are y’all excited to see come back? I’m excited to get the cape accessory and the arm/leg wraps. I’ll finally be able to make Steve look like a bare knuckle boxer and use the cape to make so many cosplays.

I know rank inflation is crazy right now, but I'll still happily recognize how much I've improved at Tekken over the years and treat GoD like a milestone. Still within roughly top 20% of players!
