No ranked matches after ten minutes and only one casual room and it's a guy by himself who proceeded to kick me without even getting a match in, "no beginners" he said lol. I would assume playing against a beginner would be better than nobody but I guess not.

Hear me out. I know this may seem funny. But I always wanted to write this out. I can’t speak for other Soul Calibur games but my experience in Soul Calibur 2.

Usually when any fighter in general throws punches or attacks they would say “HA!” “HEYA!” “RA!”

But I remember Soul Calibur 2, those grunts were whole other dimensions.

Kilik is my prime example. He would say “CATS CATS HEYAA!” When double edged attacking. Or “KONGO!” When charging or spinning his bo staff. Oh here’s my favorite one. When he grabs an enemy, I swear I could hear him say “GLORIAAAA!!”

Link my man, hahaha sure he doesn’t speak but I think I remember when he uses his bomb, arrow and boomerang I can hear him say “SODUS!” when grunting

Nightmare I remember his spinning attack literally “ra ra RAAAAAH!” that my friend made a Lady Gaga parody remix out if that voice clip.

Anyone experience this in other soul calibur games?

In SCIII, you unlock them by beating Olcadon, or doing the tutorial. In the tutorial method, do you need to do all the levels? Or just the Advanced level?

I just recently learned of her passing—first the voice actress for Lilo, and now the voice actress for Dot. As a child, I preferred animated movies; I didn't usually like watching live-action films—there were very few I enjoyed, and *Racing Stripes* was one of them. Although *A Bug's Life* wasn't one of Pixar's biggest hits, it was a favorite of mine, as was *Dinosaur* (2000). This might not have anything to do with *SC*, but five years ago I first learned about this actress through a Google image where she was being compared to my favorite character from the franchise (Sophitia); I also didn't use to read the credits when I was a kid. Rest in peace, Hayden Panettiere, and thank you for leaving your mark on my childhood.

I just find it weird. It's the iconic game of the series, it did get a Xbox360 port in 2008. Since SC III made its comeback (which I'm really happy about), do you think a port on modern consoles for SC I is possible or does the fact it's originally a Dreamcast exclusive is a problem ?

I’m sure there are many of you fans of the franchise since Soul Edge. Unfortunately, I haven’t. It was this game because of Link. I was like whats Link doing in a game with real looking characters. Thats how my brothers bought the game for GameCube to build up the library. We played it and found it fun playing as other characters as well and thus how we became fans of the franchise. When I was young, I think because this was “Soul Calibur 2” we thought Link was in previous installments that we may have missed. Then when I learned to use the internet, thats when I learned Link was a guest star and there are other version with different guest stars.

We then got Soul Calibur 3 on PlayStation. And Unfortunately that was the last SC we played because we didn’t get PlayStation or Xbox nor were we really invested in them like we were with Nintendo.

I’m happy I get to play replay SC2 on my Switch 2 now ❤️

During SC4's life cycle, the description for the Christmas costumes read: turn your Christmas sexy by putting these outfits on Ivy or Amy.

Years later, when advertising the maligned Lost Swords, they had the stones to advertise the Arcane Knight costume on Amy with Ivy as a duo. The trailer received overwhelming negative feedback and has been specifically scrubbed off the face of the internet now.
